    Awesome tutorial. If only all devs could make tutorials as in depth as this. Was great to meet you guys at FS Expo

    Love this aircraft, superbly done by JF with a flawless and bug free release. These older less automated regional jets are great fun to learn and very addictive once you get the hang of the basics whether using VOR nav or GPS. I prefer this to the more automated modern airliners which IMO can get boring quite fast (to each his own though). The F28 grabs your attention and holds it each flight and keeps you coming back for more. 5*

    Just did my first successful flight after watching the series. Well done for both the videos and the plane. I really appreciate JF for giving us this classic birds!

    I was follwing this flight with the videos as a guide very nicely untill i managed to accidentally hit that ENG FIRE thing of the right engine when i wanted to click the nav 2 button lol. Now, idk what that Eng fire 'lever' i think it is, exactly does but i lost power to that engine right away. Funny thing as well i was just in the middle over the waters. I managed to land at Paris Beauvais! Lovely first flight haha! But what an amazing aircraft this is! Thanks for creating such a master piece!

      Us guys as in Just Flight?

      @@justflight yeah as I mentioned to CambsPilot yesterday. I only knew the Justflight store but not the developers and products. I bought the Piper Arrow two months ago and then I started to realise the variety of good airplanes coming by Justflight. Did my first flight yesterday in the Fokker and I am really impressed with it (:

    VOR to VOR navigation will be so much better now there will be an aircraft that may solely rely on it

    Excellent, it remembered me the flights I made throughout Europe aboard KLM F-28...
    Anyhow, it is possible to fligh this F-28 on current routes, with the removal of NDBs and VORs ?

    Great stuff - Reason for slow gear down is to catch a pitch change.
    I think you should have GS comparator warning on ILS setup?

    • @justflight
      @justflight  ปีที่แล้ว

      The comparator warnings would never illuminate during a normal flight, as they only indicate a discrepency between the indication of the navigation instruments versus the output signal of the navigation systems.
      The "GS" comparator warning would only illuminate if an ILS frequency is tuned and a discrepency is detected between the Glideslope deviation signals from NAV 1 and NAV 2 recievers.

      @@justflight Thanks for quick reply - Reason for asking - I did not think you set both NAV to same frequency

    How do you know the distance at which a VOR will be received ? Most msfs VOR seems broken, having very small ranges most of the time

      some VOR are only DME

      @jowenjv4463 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hanstaal9388 Yeah i know when it's a DME. It seems that MSFS NAVAIS data base is compltely broken, I use the Navugraph updated one now and it seems better for now. Need to try in the fokker though

    Anyone else having issues with the glide slope not being captured although these same procedures were followed? I’ve double checked ILS frequencies, course, lined up at a 45° angle, everything that I know to do. The glide bar shows active, but it just passes me up and the plane never descends.

    • @billolgaau

      Make sure you capture the Glide Slope from below.
