    Hello
    I am an ETC graduate but currently working as software test engineer.
    Would u please suggest how to switch to this domain as i am more inclined towards this domain?

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You must be knowing programming fundamentals and industry exposure, working on tools.
      So, Digital concepts, ic design, verilog, computer architecture knowledge would make you prepared for vlsi entry.
      Try in internship roles / fresher roles by applying to various companies through employee referrals.

    What about python is import or not for vlsi domain

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not required for fresher roles. It could be required once you advance to work but that too only in backend vlsi.
      Be default not required.
      Some specific roles may need it !!

    • @Singh-Rajveer

    Hello sir, as I am from mechanical background will this roadmap help me to switch from mechanical to vlsi ? Or I need to do some extra ? I Gave Gate CSE exam this year, I have at least knowledge of Digital Logic and Computer Organization and Architecture.

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have given Gate CSE and already switching domain so, I guess CSE related jobs would be better.
      This knowledge would surely help for vlsi job if you get an interview opportunity but vlsi companies won't easily call to non-circuital branch students. Exceptions could be there.

    • @nishaddeshpande6295
      @nishaddeshpande6295 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Singh-Rajveer sir what about M.Tech ? If I joined M.Tech in VLSI then there will not be a problem for interview opportunity right ?

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There could be problem when shortlisting because sometimes vlsi profile not just require coding knowledge. It requires indepth ece knowledge. You may face challenges in academics as well if not good in digital and analog.
      Companies also prefer someone fresh and from circuital branches.
      So, Honest opinion is: It could be tough (not impossible) for you.
      Now its upto you how much risk you can take.

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  ปีที่แล้ว

    Why there is no hiring for b. Tech freshers? Is it possible to join in vlsi

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, It is possible but if a person is well prepared from starting itself. It is delayed by the time one realises the true potential of electronics and that's why it becomes tough.
      1. If a electronics company visits your clg then this much knowledge would do the work
      2. If no, then freshers need to apply for internships and keep trying or seek some placement support from training institutes.
      In both cases, This much knowledge would be required.
