    Brother you are demotivating directly to the students who are thinking for vlsi in future

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Hi Payal,
      Would like to further clarify on this part based on my own experiences, learnings in this field:
      This is not demotivation.
      Someone who just chose this field out of hype, or just for money and is not really passionate about electronics will regret later.
      So, This is just an information to choose VLSI if you really enjoy reading, working and spending time with electronics.
      Even if someone don't like, but can do hard work somehow , can get selected but the thing is.....he will just force himself and will regret daily after getting a job.
      So, It's always recommend from my side to choose career out of interest and not out of hype / money only.
      If someone thinks that money can overcome all those things and he can manage without interest then also he is welcome.
      So A request to everyone to take this as information that how actually this industry works, think about your goals and what would give you happiness > Decide.
      Because,
      I feel money and happiness both are required for the life so do make tradeoffs accordingly.

      What he said is correct.... Just choosing mtech in vlsi for the sake of iitian or placement will surely ruin your life... In analog domain you need to be master of that, daily learning, reading lots of stuff... Learning is never ending process in vlsi.... If you think getting a job and then just simply sitting in front of lap then this field is not for such persons

      I am from VLSI industry and whatever he says is true. Real work-life is different from what we learn in books and courses. Just remember, whatever field you choose, at some point you should be honed with skills and expertise to do Industry grade projects indigenously without seeking anyone's help in. If you can't, I am sorry to say you lack passion in that field and better move on to some other. It's not only for VLSI but software as well otherwise you'll not be recession-proof.

    Hello sir, I have completed B-tech in electrical in 2022 from a tier 3 college, I tried my best to get into IT fiel as a Java developer, learnt everything from fundamentals to libraries and made some good project, but unfortunately I didn't get placed in any of the company, I did this all for 1 year and then looking at my financial condition I had to take a job so got into a bpo company as technical support associate, but I hated that job and left after after, now I am hell of confused and demotivated what should I do,
    I had a very strong passion in electrical and electronics things, that's how I took electrical branch in my btech, and now I have decided that no matter what I will only work in my field. I have seen you replying to each and every comment on your video, your small reply as a suggestion would be really appreciated!

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can tell you the fields and you to decide which one to go:
      1. Vlsi design: High paying and small number of jobs in India. Job number is small but competition is less if you have eligibility.
      For example: VLSI companies in general prefer top colleges Btech ECE or Mtech VLSI guys. So, If you have this much eligibility then competition would be very less. Since you are from tier-3 so M.Tech vlsi would be best option. But it would require your 3 years because you have to get a good score in GATE to do this.
      VLSI Training institutes or CDAC PG diploma could be alternatives but not very secure and usually fetch contractor vlsi role.
      You may research on those side if mtech is not possible.
      2. Embedded: Slightly higher number of jobs but less paid comparatively. Training institutes can also fetch. Research well using LinkedIn before joining. M.Tech is also there for embedded but agr jana hi hai to vlsi se kro Mtech.
      3. Power Electronics i.e. EVs and other big electrical companies.
      These three are right now considered most safe fields right now.

      You need to find out and talk with respective college alumni and current batch students. Atleast 5-10 reviews for each college to decide.
      Compare colleges based on opportunities (companies visiting), median package and flexibility in curriculum.

      @Singh-Rajveer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is the new branch and first batch yet to be graduated.
      ECE vlsi is kinda subset of core electronics and VLSI requires coding knowledge as well. You would get to know about Computer Architecture as well so I feel there would be no reason for CSE / IT jobs to not allow ece (vlsi) students.
      However, Your selection in IT job roles would be purely based on skill set required for software jobs

    hello sir
    what are the hiring trends for vlsi after btech . are there enough jobs

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  ปีที่แล้ว

      VLSI Jobs require a proper skill set and TIER-3 colleges sincerely lags in that part. Infact students are not even aware about Fundamentals of electronics after btech. So, For them the scenario is very tough.
      However, Companies visit top colleges for vlsi roles even for B.Tech electronics and obviously they prefer M.Tech VLSI.
      So, An On-Campus opportunity plays a significant role here and which is mostly provided by top colleges only
