Don't use the xacto blade when your Apoxie is fresh. Wait until it's had like 45 mins and is starting to harden, then you can make the cracks really deep. You're better off using the rubber silicone tips when the Apoxie is new. This turned out very nice!
This was so helpful! About to resculpt a neck for the first time so it was so nice to see the full process! Also, the horse turned out wonderful! So beautiful!!!
Have you ever thought about making a chestnut Friesian? I get so much joy out of the fact that people get so angry those exist . They are purebred Friesians, it's because the chestnut color is caused by Ee, so when they closed the studbooks a couple of het stallions made the cut. While with Bay and other colors that were historically in the breed those were easier to spot so they got culled out.
I knew they were rare but I didn't know people were mad about it 😂 Could be cool to make! Of course I love black, but you can do a lot of nice shading with chestnut, I'm sad there are no bays, that would be really pretty (of course could do a cross lol)
Maybe it's just me but he doesn't look like a Friesian at the end he looks like an Andalusian. Thee mane, tail, and feathers aren't voluptuous to read Friesian to me. The original had a much more fluffy mane and tail which made it read Friesian.
I'm trying to start customizing, do you have any recommendations for first timers? Also do you use matte or gloss varnish spray? I'm so excited but so nervous lol
Friesians are one of my favorite breeds too! I love their power and elegance. You did a lovely job with this one! The way you did the mane is lovely
This horse is MAGNIFICENT. 🖤🖤🖤 If I had thousands to spend lol he'd be one of my Grails.
This is STUNNING! You did an amazing job, it's so life like 💗💗
OMGGGGGGGGGG ABIGAIL TELL JERICO I SAID HIIII btw like Fr I love Jericho or Jerico
What a handsome beast! Simple transformation executed superbly…and the action photos are perfect. A ribbon winner for sure!
