There’s another secret in the Skyhook Battle that I unintentionally discovered on N64 when I was a kid. When you try to shoot down the millennium falcon, you can’t due to its invincibility (for obvious reasons). I went about my business shooting down x-wings, ties, and the black sun fighters when I came across an invincible X-Wing that couldn’t be shot down. My only conclusion is that X-Wing was Luke.
I rarely see anyone cover it, but the n64 version had a massive debug menu you could input through the pause menu, between removing all textures, lighting, to changing fog, and aspect ratios. My favorite was always freezing the world and exploring with the give all button

I once wedged the Outrider into a corner on the Star Destoryer's hull and used a piece of tape to hold the Z-button. After an hour of 5-torpedo bursts I confirmed that there is no way to destroy that ISD.
What I find endlessly fascinating now is that this once was the maximum amount of detail 3D graphics could handle, and people thought this is good enough to make games with it.
vr ports for some lucus art games are out to whom is a gamer/vrgamer this would be awesome game to also port over probably the first game i got to try growing up
Both of those are obvious guesses a fan could have with it but I was hoping for something very specific since they are so unusually livid green! Don't mean to be disrespectful just thought you delved deep enough to know. My primary hope was specific wookieepedia pages showing me who these are are hopefully something different than the two guesses we both had mentioned above. Because enemy variety is cool! But I could settle for some fan wiki page if it has a pictured description.
@@rudolphantler6309 My apologies, I'll do you one even better and geek out all over the place for you now: The manual for the game calls these enemies "Imperial Commandos," which is interesting because that would be later ret-conned when the Prequels came along. The manual also calls the red guards in Xizor's Palace "Coruscant Guards." I'm assuming they were trying to model the armor underneath the cloaks that we see in Return of the Jedi, which is also interesting because I would assume Palpatine's guards wouldn't be protecting Xizor even regardless of his obliviousness to his plot. It's also the Executor that shows up and destroys Xizor's Skyhook and not just some random Star Destroyer, but I guess trying to fit the entirety of the Executor into that small area wouldn't have worked. I can only guess maybe Vader had a detatchment go and try to arrest Xizor.

@@MARIOGUY789 I think I might be wrong here, but sure that I remember picking one up in one of the rooms which open when you cycle through those switches for the hallways
It’s because, to my knowledge, there is no interior to them, either that or it’s the same as the Outrider’s cockpit. Also, no, you cannot pilot a Star Viper, unless maybe I’m missing something by not using the debug code.

I fell victim to the bug with slave 1. Disgusted, I obtained all the challenge points while playing on the steam deck :( I think it's a random bug, first time i see a another guy with the same problem. Never happend on my N64.

really dont mind low polly becuase it has such a rich story would be also great to try in beautiful 4k
