    Crank angle sensor with long connector is from old Legacy RS. I think all imprezas had new angle sensor with connector on it without long wires

      Old Legacy’s have them also but the first model GC8’s definitely have them also, we have had multiple early model GC8’s with them so not our first time seeing it. That crank sensor specifically was from this car.

    Cool updates on this rare WRX Type RA that don't break the bank! What do you guys want us to do next?

    Hi awesome watch great content, what are the oem equal length headers from?

    • @OkiSubies
      @OkiSubies  ปีที่แล้ว

      These ones were from a Blobeye STI engine.

    Why not use the 20G block with 205 heads? It keeps a bit of the originality. Although it is easy to swap the whole engine. Wanna let those 20G RA exhaust manifolds go? lol

      Lol yeah that would have been a really fun thing to do. But it really was a cost thing. We wanted to keep it somewhat of a “budget build” and doing that would require for us to most likely get the heads and block machined along with a gasket kit. Not to mention time.

    I have a european Wrx (GT), it has a EJ20K, what do you think are the best modificatons to do on it? I'm getting a custom 3" exhaust done for the moment. Thanks :)

    I like the tire setup ;)
    What setup would you put in 16x7" to get the same look? :D i think stock is 205/50R16

      @OkiSubies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! It would have to be a 215/45r16 at least but unfortunately there isn’t many options on that size. If I remember correctly I think Falcon had a tire in a 215 for 16’s

    What model are those Enkei rims?

    • @OkiSubies

      They are the Tarmacs.

    • @wt8213
      @wt8213 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @OkiSubies Do they still sell them new or know how I could sorce them to Canada? They are my favorite rim.
      P.S I say this because I can not find them on the Enkei website or anywhere online.

    • @OkiSubies
      @OkiSubies  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@wt8213 Unfortunately they don’t sell them anymore so the only option is to get used ones or settle for the NT03RR’s which are really similar.

      @OkiSubies That's so bazaar that they would discontinue such a nice looking rim. I can't be the only one that loves them.

    Who tunes the cars?

    • @OkiSubies
      @OkiSubies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typically we use Shinji tuned for remote tuning. We have been talking Evans performance classes online also so we have been able to do some of the cars recently in house

    Ez30…….raptor supercharger or turbo??

    • @OkiSubies
      @OkiSubies  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a great question! I decided to go turbo charged because I wanted to be able to bump up the boost in the future. I also think that the torque curve is easier to control with a turbo. (Waste gate vs pully)
      For simplicity and easy install the Raptor motorsports supercharger is the way to go👍🏻

    I have a 94 wrx RA. This has me nervous. Are the ej20g really that discontinued for parts? My cars been sitting for a why'll and needs a lot of engine maintenance. Love the fact I have a closed deck block. Is there anyway to keep the block and merge everything from an ej205/07 on to it?

    • @OkiSubies
      @OkiSubies  ปีที่แล้ว

      We feel your pain!
      They indeed are discontinuing many parts. I think the maf sensor was the only one we could get and that was close to $500. You could get an aftermarket ECU and go speed density. Then all the other sensors you can calibrate to the aftermarket ECU. I am sure you could merge it and use the closed deck block also. You just have to look into what size headgasket you will need.
