    Thank you for introducing these lovely oils. I love them myself. And big thanks in mentioning that they need lots of time to develop. I think people mistakenly approach them like Western fragrances and they are sooooo different, they are applied differently and also they are rarely worn alone, mostly layered.

    That was a nice review and introduction to Al-Rehab , I am an Arab (Egyptian) who isn't into Oud or oriental smells as well , but I was impressed by Al-Rehab specially their dupes in spray form , dirt cheap here in my country and gives me the opportunity to try those hard to get scents , even Western ones ..I have Nebras (I wanted to try Boudoir but couldn't get it ) Shadha ,I have Cabotine by Gres and they are almost identical , Lauzane aquatic floral , Randa exact dupe of the old good Rumba by Balenciaga ..Wish to get Susan and compare it to my beloved Amarige from Givenchy but can't get it yet . I heard they had one called( Fill) which gives you the rare opportunity to smell exactly what Jasmine Sambac smells like , it's called here Full or Fill in other Arabic dialects , I am sure this unique flower doesn't grow in England and its fresh scent cannot be described for its unique beauty .

      I have Susan and it smells 95% like Amarige. Rasha smells exactly like Gucci Rush, but you've got to give at least five minutes to develop. They make it in pocket spray 18ml.

    Great review! Thank you for introducing us to new things. I've never tried an authentic Arabian perfume. I'd like to. Curious about them. The most recent new thing you've introduced me to that I'm utterly thrilled about is BPAL. I've picked out several sampler sets and some individuals. I'm very excited to try them. Love their creativity and what they stand for in the perfume world. Also want to try some Juliette Has A Gun fragrances. Thanks for all you share with your fellow fragrance lovers. Would love to sit and discuss perfume over cocktails, you with your favorite Cosmo, me with my gin & tonic, but these reviews are the next best thing. Just know that what you do is appreciated! :)

    The last one is Mokhalat(sp?) Al Rehab. It's typically called a clone of Montale's Black Aoud. I haven't smelled the Montale one, but I grew to love this. Definitely one which takes a little while to get used to though. The sweeter floral, honeyed and fruity notes really accentuate the fecal oud note (which indicates, to me at least, that they're either using some amazing synthetics if not real oud oil). Though it's not overly fecal, which is how Dehn Al Oud is often described.
    I was surprised you found Aseel to be so overly oud. I felt the oud was very understated and that this was primarily a rose scent (a dry, green, and sour rose, not a sweet or soapy one)
    Great reviews though! If possible, maybe edit the video description to say which ones you're reviewing?

    • @ouch110
      @ouch110  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      diamondbanger87 Thanks! Ya know, that's a good idea! I'll have to edit the description. Do you think Al Rehab use real Oud oil? That would be crazy considering how affordable they are. I think I just can't settle with this company, I've had more misses than hits so..I may have to move on. hehe. :)

      ouch110 Fragrance Reviews
      I actually just looked it up and noticed Bakhour and Mokhalat Al Rehab have similar packaging, so maybe I'm wrong lol
      I'm not sure if they use real oud oil, but some of their frags do get the oud note down better than the Western frags do (like Tom Ford, Montale and the like), and definitely way better than other cheap oils. It could either just be really good synthetics. But who knows. My Saudi friends say some things there are just way cheaper, while other things are prohibitively expensive. So they could just be using a lower grade natural oud, or mixing natural and synthetics.

    You should wear Sultan by AL rehab. It would fit you good! The Oils that you choose are the badest of AL rehab. Sorry. The best Arabian scents are from the houses of ensar Oud, gulabsingh johrimal, Swiss arabian

    Own quite a few ...Saat Safa and Nebras are my favorites. I always say Nebras is more of a sex and bubblegum scent...LOL Right now am wearing an oud I purchased at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar and it smells like Arabian Bonfire...comforting smokey woods all the way!

    • @BlueEyedDemonWoman
      @BlueEyedDemonWoman 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wanted to add I also have Balkis which is gorgeous...I make sure to have some on skin and clothes as the top notes cling to your clothes and last longer...FYI Balkis is the name of the Queen of Sheba....Then I also like Nadine which has a spicy carnation/clove note...I agree Al-Rehab scents are hit or miss ...but when you find a winner it is affordable and memorable!

    Good video, you mentioned that these are originals, where did you buy these? Are this different to the spray bottles that you can buy on eBay by Al rehab?

    • @ouch110
      @ouch110  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lydia Macdougall Hi Lydia, what I meant was, some Al-Rehab fragrances are "smell-a-likes" for things that are already on the market. These tend to be the weaker kind in my experience.. What I meant by "Original" scents are the ones that are NOT smell-a-like scents so, the perfumes in their line that are original to this company. :) The ones on Ebay are not fake in any way. :) But some are duplicates of popular perfumes already. The fragrances I mean that are original are the ones that are more Oud based and have a real Arabian feel to them. I hope that helps!

    Sultan is great, it's a shame it only last's around 3 to 4 hours, I find they don't have any base note's in them, a lot of them dry down to a musk smell after around 4 hour's , there's a few strong one's like lord, dakar, inspiration, secret man, and cobra, I'm not sure if they have taken out the base note's in them when they reformulated them.

    just recently i'm into arabian perfumes. my dad actually is using some of al-haramains fragrance and that's what got me to loving oud. but i don't like it if oud is the dominating note. some of alrehab's fragrance can be a hit or miss. really depends on the individual and their preferences. i tried green tea which is unisex but i think it's more suitable for men coz of the typical citrus notes you can find in most men's fragrance. jasmine however is just so synthetic..

    I wouldn't buy another Al rehab oil I purchased around 15 or so and realised that they have been reformulated and I hardly get any longevity from them. It's not my skin as some last over 6 hours but not many. It's either down to regulations or there watering down their oil's to save money. I'm very disappointed at least they only cost £2 each.

    Tom, thanks a lot for this review! I wanted to know your opinion and compare it with my perception of Al-Rehab oils - both are quite similar) Because some my people say that all the arabian stuff stinks horribly( But I say that not everything and they just smell strong. And sometimes they open so beautifuly and cover you with a cloud of tasty things! But sometimes they don't and smell thick...
    And you even liked a couple of scents)) I'm content)

    • @ouch110
      @ouch110  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      eolidia Ahhhhh so it was you who asked me??? :) I'm so sorry. I knew I had to do an Al-Rehab video I just couldn't remember who it was. Oh I completely disagree with the opinion that all Arabian stuff stinks horribly. I do think however that these perfumes need to be used in a certain way. Too much...really IS too much with these. A tiny amount of these oils left to really develop is when you experience them properly. I do just think though..I've had more misses than hits with this company so..I'm passing them on to someone who may appreciate them more. :)

    Silver by Al Rehab is said to be a clone of Creed's Silver Mountain Water,
    and L'Aventure by Al Haramain is reported to be a clone of Creed's Aventus.
