I love how at 3:00 he just stares at the moon pondering his situation, then possibly shifting over to images and memories of his loved ones so far from where he is now, possibly looking at the same moon wondering, hoping, and praying that the lowly soldier makes it back to embrace them all. Then suddenly he hears the sound of the charge whistle and snaps back to reality only for his life to be ended so abruptly 20 seconds later. Never to ponder over that same moon again.
DR. CINNAMONZ I guarantee you throughout human history, many scared soldiers lived this unfortunate reality.
Accurate, but considering he’s using only a pistol, he’s most likely a commanding officer as commanders were usually issued only a pistol for self defense purposes.

This is definitely my favorite map next to paschendale, the night atmosphere and the deep winding trenches along with a vast dark no man's land makes for great immersion. I never play with a hud on and this map stands out the most in my opinion.
Dice should just give us a operation with bolt actions only.. than every round would be realistic and would show us the horros of ww1.. until then its amazing that youtubets like you try to make this happen with such videos !!

If it was truly realistic you would: get killed in one or two shots (no matter the gun)
you were exploded your body parts would just go flying
You would have to dig trench's
You could freeze to death in certain maps
Team killing would be on
It would take two people to carry a MG 08 ( the sentry kit) and two people to carry the Wex (flame trooper)
Would any of that be fun?
Hey I'm a Sans they want a simulator to be immersed or know what it was like to be in these soldiers shoes because they are interested in history and what you see as fun is subjective there are people who think really hard games are fun

As a history buff I have always studied ww1 more then ww2. To me ww1 was so fascinating. It truly reshaped the world into what it is today.

In a war good friends are allways remmembered because they want you to be happy protect you and spend time with you as longest they can but when all that happiness turns into a sadnes you start realise with who you have fought,what they have done for you in your live what risks they took for you.thoose things shouldnt be forgotten they should be respected because that is a real friendship

I love that game (Valiant Hearts) it's probably the saddest game that I've ever played about WWI and I'll probably play it again with a friend who isn't familiar with that game!

New to your channel, I watch these with my father when I visit my parents, he loves them!
It's amazing how we turn a situation like this into a form of entertainment. In real life warfare like this wouldn't be a game or something recreational. It's only in video gaming can warfare can even be considered entertaining. A situation of desperation, deprivation and destruction rendered as harmless amusement, with the aid of some high quality graphics or animation. Having said that though I did enjoy the Battlefield series tremendously. Still have Battlefield 2 and BF Vietnam.
Its good your showing stories from different nations rather than focusing on just one.

So imagine yourself in this situation.
It's 1916 you are an young 27 year old French soldier. You are on your guard duty. Suddenly officer calls. You have to go over the top. You fix your bayonet, you reload your rifle, you say a prayer and other stuff. In one moment officer blows the whistle and you and your friends charge. You manage to kill one german soldier. Than you just go on a spree of killing. You finnaly take the enemy trench felling a releif. You sit down to celebrate but than you remember that you need to do same thing over and over again every day. That is a sad life of a WW I soldier.

Do you play on hardcore servers? I can't really tell and I think the higher bullet damage would make things even more believable. Just a suggestion if you ever decide to do things like this again.

Not bad however though realistically you would not be able to sprint with those heavy guns.
Instead for future vids maybe when sprinting switch to your pistol and when you are not sprinting use the LMG, also maybe not use iorn sights unless you deployed the bi-pod.
Now if your using the BAR and madaen those rules are exempted since those are much lighter than the guns you've been using like the chuchat.
Delta 23 actually the Chauchat LMG isn't really that heavy it's actually about 20 lbs you can go ahead and check it out yourself and yes I deploy my bipod when i use my iron sights lol
