I've never seen a camera angle like that on an on the ride coaster. It was really fun seeing the coaster fly along the tracks at that viewing angle. It looks like you used some sort of camera brace which is pretty cool.
No brace actually! We do this for most of our back row POVs to show the trains path. helps I have an enormous reach, so it can’t be duplicated easily 🥃
This was the ride that took my roller coaster virginity. 😂 I'm from Texas, DFW Aarea so you know my home park is SFOT. It was summer of 2001 about the same year Titan was opened at SFOT I was so scared to ride on it. So that summer I visited my dad who lived In Minnesota at the time and my step sister mentioned their "six flags " called Valley Fair. Anyway I went to the park and seeing Wild thing after Titan.... I wasn't that intimidated... Cause what... wild thing is like barely 200 ft tall is it? And titan is like 240-50ish... so it was later in the day as the sun was about to set and she convinced me to get on so I did. And I was so scared. And after my first ride I was like .wow this isn't so bad. And I rode wild thing back to back 3 times then got on high roller, and corkscrew. Then the next summer I rode all the rides at SFOT lol. Titan is wayyy more intense than wild thing bit wild thing will always hold a special place in my heart ❤lol
This kinda...a little bit, reminds me of Excalibur which was at the long closed Astroworld in Houston. The original name was "Dexter Frebushi's Electric Roller Ride". I think that was the name of a band in the 70s or something
Yessss, finally a good back row POV of this ride 🔥
Wait for the reverse 🤌🏽
Hi nsc!
The brake run chatter at the end is great, genuine and right to it 😆
Valleyfair is amazing as someone who lives 10 minutes away it’s just so amazing

Funny because I believe wild thing essentially replaced the Excalibur at this park
this ride is okay but the mid course break run is not so great if it didn't have the mid course break i would rate it the best ride at the park.
Wild Thing is also a bit faster than Magnum XL-200. 74 mph compared to 72 mph
Ride gets too much hate! Glad it’s at my home park!
This ride is fine and fun. Deserves no ounce of hate🤌🏽
@@EastCoasterssome enthusiasts even called it “mild thing”
That’s why we’re not apart of the “enthusiasts” 🥃
This coaster looks an airtime machine
Sadly, it’s not!
irl it looks a lot taller
looks a bit rough, a lot of side hunting on that track.
It’s actually as smooth as can be. It’s actually just the camera. I’ve experienced it over many years and it has always been very smooth.
It is not the camera lol the ride is smooth however Morgan’s have noticeable “jolts” . The stability of the camera has nothing to do with it
@@EastCoasters weird. Typically it doesn’t have it and I didn’t experience it last time I was at the park. I’m Sorry about that.
That train does not look comfortable
