That was the most disorganized closing of a road. They needed more officers. I have through this trying to get home when either the vice president or president has come to my city. They even shut down intersections that go over or under the route. Each spot closed down has multiple police cars.

I came through Manchester one day suddenly I'm surrounded by police bykes they escorted me at speed through several sets of traffic lights to the city bypass they shouted thank you thumbs up and waved me on I was driving an articulated lorry and to this day I have no idea what was happening

We saw kate on way to Wimbledon in her fleet of range rovers with outriders - they seem to ride very aggressively - we were doing 15 mph and bike pulled directly in front of us causing the safety radar on our car to trigger an emergency stop!
