I head out with the Polish Lavvu Canvas Tent with my wood burning stove for a solo bushcraft trip in a UK woodland. This trip was mainly for some solitude and to cook up some amazing food over the fire, I slow roasted a half leg of lamb next to the fire and roasted some vegetables in the dutch oven.
I also had my wood burning stove inside the tent for later on in the evening, this kept the chill off as I fell asleep to the sound of the woods.
Morning came and I cooked up some bacon bagels, and made fresh coffee over the fire.

Thanks Joe, very impressive, after searing the meat I put it in the Dutch oven with the veg and add a bottle of Newcastle brown ale and place oven on the coals. ATB 🙂👍🏻

Thanks Jimmy, I enjoyed filming and editing it to, yea I made the stove from a 50 cal ammo can, works really well and heats the tent up really warm.

It’s a great set up for the colder months, it was a bit overkill for this time of year but just wanted to make sure everything was working as it should. The fire was going for hours which was great!

Cheers mate, yea the stoves make a big difference, I didn’t really need it on this trip but just wanted to try it all out before winter. I got my cast iron pan from T K Max for £10 mate it’s brilliant.
