I love the idea of using a bobby pin as a stitch marker
Thank you so much for watching my video, happy crochet!
I love this idea too 'cause some yarns are fuzzy than others and the stitch markers that look like little baby diapar safety pins will snag the fuzzy yarn easily. Never thought of using a bobby pin as a stitch marker 👍.
This is so cute! Thanks so much !I am making it in black so I can wear it after halloween !It is so kind for you to share this for free !
I’m crocheting 🧶 this hat for my oldest granddaughter , thank you kindly for tutorial🙏
I love this hat!!! Made one for my mother and I put a crochet star and moon on it turned out awesome
How did you make the stars and moon my sister is all about those
I decided I needed a ready-to-go costume, and I've got everything for a witch besides a hat. I'm going to experiment with some fancy yarn scraps I have, and I think it'll turn out nicely.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who uses a bobby pin as a stitch marker.
oh wow Claire, you are so awesome! My oldest daughter asked me to make her a witches hat and I just show her yours and she loves it and wants this one! Thanks again!!
Awesome !!!! Yay for the last minute crochet project
I would love to visit New York
Thank you for watching
THAAANK YOUUU!!! Last night my 2 yr old changed her mind on her costume and decided to be a witch. So I went on your site and found this hat. We're set for tonight. I've only been crocheting a couple months but it turned out perfect thanks to your amazing videos. :) You are a lifesaver. If you ever do make it to the states for Halloween, you have a friend in New York! Thanks again!
Thank you so much for the great feedback and thank you for watching
This is perfect! Thank you bobwilson123 for making this video :) I really appreciate that you did this for free. I've been trying to find a good witches hat to crochet for quite some time. you made this so simple and fun to work with :)
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial !!! I have made fairy hats and witches hats with great delight !!!💕
thankyou sooo much for sharing this.. I make it in grey yarn for my grandson.

i can help if there is a certain place that you are getting stuck
Perfect! I'm making one for myself. Thank you so much. -Daisy
Thanks for posting this video! Great Video! I'm making my hat in a light brown and adding some orange patches to it to make it look like a scarecrow hat for my daughter :)
Very cool witches hat!!
Thanks !!!! I could never remember the name of them
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing with us.
I got them from a friend :) I am sure you can get them in ebay
i bought a pattern on etsy before i even realized that i could look this up Dx oh well.
Oh yes hahahah Im with you now, I had no idea what they were called either :)
When you say "work it" as in a model, I think of the movie "Pretty Woman" at the very beginning when Julia Roberts walks to the car with Richard Gere, the other actress says "Work it!" LOL
FANTASTIC !!!
THANKS SO MUCH !!!
Cool I'm first to watch and great tutorial thanks
Thank you for the tutorial. This hat is awesome!! Is there a written version available by any chance?
Ahh I do to ! I think her store may have closed :(
This is so cute. I'm making this for myself to wear with my witch costume. I have a real Halloween black cat. She was born on Halloween 😀. I have weight 4 pumpkin orange yarn and it says I need a 5.5 crochet hook and I only have a 5.0. Will the 5.5 crochet hook work better for this? I'm getting one in a few days. I was practicing a little bit with my 5.0 hook and the top of my witch hat didn't expand far out like it would fit a newborn baby. I'm practicing with a size 6 hook for right now to make a little one for my cat daughter to write down when I do the two half crochet stitches which will help me when I do mine with the correct hook size.
yes you could use a 5mm hook. it will just make the stitches tighter and require more increases. the size 6mm will make the stitches less stiff so the hat may not stay up on its own.
they are called thread snips I have a pair from mundial in the us
YAY Congrats, how exciting for you, you had better get hooking :)
Me encantan las cosas que haces pero mi unico problema es que no entiendo bien... podrias ponerle subtitulos gracias por compartir todo lo que sabes saludos desde chile

Hello, all I have is what is in the video
Maybe changing hook size to a smaller hook and or changing yarn thickness?!
Hi, no there isnt sorry
Can you still open the Moonshadow Threads website - every time I try, I end up on my own Facebook page ............
Hi,
Could you please tell me the name of the company you got the owl crochet hook from?
And for how much?
Cheers
Elisa
Hi im sorry to say but the company I got the hook from is no longer around.
Hi there is this an adult size hat or a childs. Ive had a request from my friendly local witch lady so need to make it in adult size. Would I keep adding rows until I get the size I want > Thankyou for great vidio tutorials x
yes this is an adult size hat. All of my hats can be made in any size.
I made my 2 yr old a scarecrow hat with your help lol I needed a really inexpensive costume and it came out so cute! Thank you for sharing this with us!
You are very welcome this will be perfect for a scarecrow hat
If there a way to just make a pointed hat so you can make it into maybe a fish?
You can just use part of the pattern if you like. Though I'm not to sure how you would make it a fish though.
where do i find these crochet hooks that u are using??
Hello I got them form a lady form Moon Shadow Threads, I am not sure if the person is on Facebook anymore
Quero ver em português.brasil.
Sorry I only speak English
Of course I spy your crochet hook now that Moonshadow threads aren't on FB anymore - your link didn't work so I'm presuming they're no more
no unfortunately they have shut down
I don't get the MAGIC CIRCLE!
G'day Witch Nikki Jo Starflower-Lucero thank you for your comment, thank you for watching. The magic circle does take practice to get the hang of. Took me AGES to get it right
@@CrochetwithClare thanks, I finally got it, maybe not exactly, but it worked, I am trying to continue with this...
@@NikkiJoLuceroWitch yay, just keep at it. it will then just become second nature
