I hope you guys enjoy this video, it’s my longest video ever. 😂 It also took me a total of 3 1/2 hours, in between screen recording and cropping the clips, editing, the thumbnail, and getting it to export out of the app. (That took forever) Then I also set a watermark for my channel! It doesn’t seem like much but it was time consuming! Anyway, be sure to subscribe if you like this video, to receive a shoutout in the next one! (Just comment that you subscribed!) Saddest part was Kanan took his life to save everyone. Ahsoka seeing Anakin’s face one last time also broke my heart. Ezra also seeing his parents in his dream.
"You can't save your Master...and, I can't save mine..." Literally just proven, because Ahsoka tried to save Anakin by breaking the floor of the temple...trusting him with her life as she did so...and she already KNOWS that Anakin kills her for it. This set of episodes has some of the most awesome confluence of story telling within the Star Wars Filoni-verse.
Mauls death at the hands of Obi-Wan ended up being very sad for me. Maul unable to let go of what Obi-Wan had done to him decades earlier. Obi-Wans dismissal of Anakin as the “Chosen One” to Maul, thinking it’s Luke. The pair finding peace between them after it was too late. Obi-Wan would have allowed Maul to walk away…but then Maul decided to poke the proverbial bear…
Maul was such a great character, they did an amazing job with him in rebels. I really like when he comes out of the malachor temple with Ezra to see everyone fighting and is just like "What Fun!"
Best comment! Maul is the first character I ever saw. I remember seeing a cutout of some red horny dude in the early 2000s and i immediately was like “wtf is that”. Mace and Maul will forever be my favs
I think another sad defining moment is later in the episode when Ezra lets Kanan go for good, at the end with him and Hera where he says "Goodbye Kanan" at the destruction of temple. But these really are the top ten, most are tearjerkers.
Sabine fighting with Kanan and breaking down always makes me cry too Or when the emperor shows Ezra that restored temple and his parents and Ezra turns away , even if that shows how much he has grown doesn't make it any less sad
People say rebels was weak compared to andor but if you listen closely they talk about logistics to keep the rebellion going. Seeing sabine go full in tune with her emotions the bonds the crew has built is one of the moments. We see how the purge was already in the works by Sabine’s project, papaltine knew he’d have to erase them from the chess board eventually cuz he knew the warrior culture would never die. This show was simply brutal sometimes like wee you expecting Disney to have people cooked in body armor alive!
I think Kanan’s death is by far the most emotional scene in any Star Wars media. As I’m typing this, I can’t think of any others that had me so emotional on a first, or even subsequent viewing. Dave Filoni just knows how to make good Star Wars.
Sabine's ones wrecked me the most. It is expected to see Jedi and Rebels to be adversaries with the Empire, with all the loss coming out of it. But to see the experience of someone coming from the sovereign separate nation, inadvertently helping to destroy this very nation, the culture, the people, and living through this experience... Oh boy

1st good riddance to Maul. As for the series if I could change 5 things I would. 1. Ezra would not lose his parents but reunite with them They would join the rebellion so Ezra could continue his training with Kanan and stay as part of the Ghost crew. 2. Kanan would not lose his eyesight although I can be flexible with that one 3. Kanan lives. Ezra could have a vision detailing what occurs but finds a way to save Kanan so that they can stay together. 4. Ezra and Sabine's relationship blossoms by the end of season 4. 5. Ezra doesn't disappear but manages to leave the ship before the Purgill go to hyperspace... Just my insignificant 2 cents worth....
When it purely concerns abt Sabine, on those scenes I never felt emotional, cuz I know what happened to the others, I know that actually Sabine is living a kind of a happy life than the others, for example: Ezra lost his parents to the Empire when he was just a little kid, Kanan lost his master and lost his whole purpose in living(well he gained it back when he found Ezra tbh), Maul lost literally everything, Kenobi lost everything he had too, Rex lost his whole 501st battalion, his brothers, his general, his whole will and purpose of living, and Rex is one of the only few last clones, maybe the last clone, And ppl make Sabine one of the most emotional characters? I haven’t watched rebels fully for multiple reasons, but this show does look amazing and I have good jist of what’s the base story but idk how this show ends. is it like rogue one where in the end everyone dies or what’s the end game for the main group of characters in this show
They all have quite different endings. So spoilers: Kanan, unfortunately dies, Ezra gets taken into unknown regions with thrawn, Hera has a child named Jacen, zeb goes back to his planet with his kind, Sabine stays in Ezra’s old tower for roughly ten years, before she joins ahsoka to look for Ezra and thrawn, and chopper stays with Hera and Jacen.
