Brother this fz25 is better than ktm and Bajaj Dominar 250....it's mileage also good and if we care properly it's more better than these two bike....
I bought this bike in 2017, at just ₹1,38,000 on road patna!!
Ktm. 250 costs 2.50 lacs. And fz250 is for 1.85 Lacs on road (2023). Comparing the price and the features.. I guess fz 250 is very good deal. But, definitely an advanced instrumental cluster would be a good deal breaker.
Gixxer 250 Naked now costs 2.5 lakhs
N250 is much better than this

I have this bike, purchased in 2019.. engine is super refine, i changed a tyres yesterday.. no any single problem till date .. I always use Nikavi disk pad which is good for breaking... Its breaking is very good. On the road its gave me big bike feel and you will alwys happy with this bike.. don't fool with paper specification.. pahle chalake dekho fir dusri bike pe dhyan nahi jayga kabhi.. really good product form yamaha.. why yamaha is known for racing engines..answers is this bike you will definitely feel it...

I am the owner of this bike. I love this bike a lot.
There is one problem with this.
When it is hot by running or by keeping under sun.
It won't start in one self start, at least 2 or 3 needed.
Suppose you are running this bike and the turned off and went somewhere, and comeback after 5 minutes, it won't start in one self.
Same happens if it is kept under sun

I am confused approx 2 lack budget bike..features not very necessary all time but performance ,torque and refinement should be.
Beware This FZ 25 will disappoint when it comes to pwr and torque.
Also it sucks on the highway thanks to vibes at higher rpm range (especially after 105km u start feeling strong vibes on handlebar, tank.
This is a 250cc commuter bike. It shines in her city traffic. Low end toque is amazing for city stop go traffic.
I highly suggest you to take test ride on N250, FZ25 for atleast 110kmph speed on a good highway.
For your budget i wud recommend N250 as it will meet ur performance needs and N250 is a genuine allrounder bike, FZ25 is an excellent commuter with good punch lower down, but because of this config the FZ25 fails to deliver a top end performance and cannot cruise on triple digit speeds at ease like the N250 can. N250 can tour , it can do city commutes, excellent midrange and top end pull. N250 has lesser vibes than the Yamaha FZ25 (Im not joking on this, You wil be shocked to see his difference this is bcz N250's engine is totally new unlike any pulsars)
N250
-- Jack of all trades master of none - Allrounder, can do City commuting , but will feel a bit heavy at start, excellent touring capabilities , high speed cruising, decent top end, quick overtakes, strong midrange and top end pull.
- Excellent Projector Throw, lights up the whole road upto a distance, is bright too
- Easy Triple digit touring (easily cruise at 110-120kmph with no vibes, post 125kmph there are some vibes still bearable but this is only at the top end of the rev range)
- Looks fresh yet iconic Pulsar like
- Easy to fix or repair in anywhere as spares are easily available, its a new bike, reliability yet to be determined, past 1 year has been great, but over 4-5 years period its difficult to say.
- initially sales were bad, but N250 is in demand now, I starting to see a lot of them on the road and showrooms run out of stock quickly as all of them are booked at all times. F250 flopped hard though.
F25:
- Excellent City commuter no doubt, very close to a scooter in terms of city duties u dont need to change gears much at all in slow traffic.
- Headlight despite being a projector is trash compared to even halogen lights of many bikes.
- Slow speed touring ( under 80kmph very smooth tourer, post 90kmph the vibes start kicking in and gets terrible post 110kmph, post the midrange suddenly vibes kicking abruptly )
- Design got worse overtime, Fz went from the best looking bike on the road to meh over every iteration. (subjective opinion)
- Spare parts have to be ordered in batches resulting in extremely long wait times. Some issues can take months to fix, especially the electronics, cannot be repaired anywhere, your only option is to go to Yamaha. But usually Yamahas are reliable so you might not have to get things fixed freuently
- Poor Sales records have of Fz25 has made it even more difficult for owners to get spares, issues fixed, and yamaha too isnt spend much resources to support this bike well
If your plan is to go for Yamaha only then i would suggest you to pick the R15 or MT15, those are way more exciting to rider, they feel more powerful than the Lazy F25.

The worst thing about this bike is, it doesn't have liquid cooled engine, doesn't have 6th gear, doesn't have slipper clutch. These are disadvantages of this bike!!
