This bike is not for performance oriented purpose this bike is suitable for. Long touring believe me or not this my life's first bike at age 18 not my age is 20 but when i purchase this bike after 1500km service fone my first ride Guwahati to shivsagar 500km smoothly i ride this bike just 10 minutes i take little bit break then again ride this bike and my second tour Guwahati to coochbehar west bengal 550km same thing 3th also west bengal 4th time Guwahati to shillong to be honest this bike is perfect for touring people who to travel they care about touring bike not about performance oriented purpose .....

Duke 200 and NS200 both share the same engine and almost same specs on the sheet... But if you ride both bikes then you will definitely notice the differences... Duke 200 is tuned for instant pick up and NS 200 is better tuned for achieving top speed... So bro don't compare two bikes according to their spec sheets, Real life ride review matters.

throttle hardness , is it an issue? because I have seen some videos where people often complain about this issue that the throttle gets jammed sometimes at the position where you leave it.
@Sandipan Das I was facing same problem about Throttle hardness. My FZ25 is 4 Years 5 months OLD. When i went to Yamaha showroom mechanic. He replaced a "ACCELERATION CABLE" and throttle becomes Good again. It's not a Big issue, you just have to replace acceleration cable or put some lube around that Throttle handle parts. YOU BETTER ASK A GOOD MECHANIC FIRST.

Much better , this bike could be much better if Yamaha Updated this one rather than updating MT-15 . Idk why Japanese Companies are now disappointing Indian Consumers too much . This is the only Yamaha Engine in India which is not refined enough. The N250 has still an edge Bajaj made a really impressive 250cc 2v engine which is much better than FZ 25's engine in initial range , mid range , top end stretching , wait I left some thing .. where is the gear position indicator on this ? Where is a clear display and functionality of necessary features , and for god's sake lastly ! Where is the Traction Control on this 20Nm initial torque which Yamaha is giving unnecessarily on shitty bikes like FZ V3 and MT-15 who don't even have that fast initial pickup which could be fatal on this machine to any beginner (FZ25) ?. And what about the quality that is much more better and premium on N250. No Hate to this bike but what's better to the price is just better . No argument on that .

Owner of fz25bs6 (monster edition) almost 1.5 year, Didn't faced the throttle hardness yet.
