Hello from Ireland again Joe. I like that boot spoiler, I have never seen that before on one of these lol. Great interior, but I don't know if it's really for you, Joe. I thought a Mercedes or Range Rover would be better for you 🤔 lol. Good idea to Raffle it off bro. Great video again as always Mate. Chat soon. 🙏🙏👌👏👏👏👏👏👏
Engines are common throughout VAG range, main problems are the oil cooler leaking coolant in the V, injector seals and if its not had regular oil changes, the dredded timing chain rattle. Should be a ZF8 box too? If so thats due its 2nd service. I bet its never had its first one though😅
I bought the same age, almost the same spec Cayenne two years ago, love it to bits. It's got to the point I'm selling my Cayman S because it hardly gets used, it's so easy drop drop into the Cayenne and blast along in comfort.
I have owned two Porsche Cayenne and they have been the best cars I have ever bought one of them. I drove all around Italy for two months did 3000 miles in it with no issues whatsoever the things are bulletproof if they looked after amazing car I’ll definitely be entering the competition.👍
Do yourself a favour bud and upgrade your hpi check to a salvage check, it'll have photos when the car was at copart, I find cat s virtually impossible to sell, but if it's for yourself it's OK.
@dannyjayke8695 if it was written off in 2020 there's an excellent chance it went thru Co part, if you pay 7. 99 to upgrade to a salvage check it's well worth it, imho anyway.
@dannyjayke8695 I know bud, but when buying a cat car it's well worth it for 7.99.We bought a cat s xe jag, cat s, pictures were shown by co part of just the sill trim off, but in reality it had been thru previously, a year earlier and it was absolutely hammered, never drove right as well, most cat s cars, particularly late stuff are hard hitters. I always run a salvage picture check now, it's amazing what they show, that porsche will have had a right smack imho.
When I have gone to PX a car with lots of extras the first owner had specified, the dealer has said the fact that there are thousands of pounds worth of extras means nothing now.
Maybe when trading in but when it selling the cars with all the extras always sell quicker especially when there is two cars for sale one a poverty spec and another top spec at a similar price you will always go for the top spec car
That's typical dealer speak - he wants your car but doesn't want to pay tip-top price. There maybe an element of truth to it - but it sure helps sell it
Options do add to used price I’d pay more for a pan roof and top spec seats than I’d be willing to give for a car without. You wouldn’t buy a bmw without Harman kardon
Most of these Porsche have lots of extras always have leather, no service history and a category s mot advisories for tyres and brake pads implies. He waited to the last minute to change not very well maintained.
That is one hell of an assumption on your part, the owner might not have been mechanically minded and the items appeared on advisory then had them fixed.
This is the wonderful thing about car ownership. I hate the look of the car (big black slug), I hate Porsche bell end tailgaters, I hate prestige SUVs (especially high mileage). I wouldn't touch that money pit unless you said £5K so I could part it out and make a handsome profit. However, to the next man it is a dream car, "Hey, look at me in my bad boy ride." Fair play, enjoy.
That is one amazing car, whom ever bought it new, certainly made use of the options list!!!. The mileage, category market, and age isn’t in its favour, but it looks very sporty, and is so cool❤.
I got my 2004 cat d SLK r171 350 with 35k on it 11 years ago, for 4k less than higher mileage examples of the same age. Never let me down in the 70k I've put on it.
I've noticed that you often buy premium vehicles with no service history. Here in Aus, everyone in the utube world will tell you to never buy a premium euro without a full service history. Is this not something that people worry about in the UK?
I bought a vauxhall insignia with £15k of extras. It was a vauxhall employees car and the extras are a tax dodge, too difficult to fully explain but basically when he buys the car from vauxhall at the end of 18/24 months then they discount the valuation based on min spec car by cost of extras. Ie basic price new 35k, extras 15k. Valuation after 2 years 20k, price paid by employee 20k - 15k = 5k.
Average age of scrapped cars is reportedly 16 years old. This one should then be starting a five year countdown. If it lasts then £2k a year for a car of that calibre (plus maintenance costs) isn't unreasonable.
first time i gone for a pay for comp apart from lottery but my car now at 23 years old so def need new one lol i wish everyone luck in comp, Joe great youtube channel great bunch of people that work for you
OK, MOT expires January 2025 but the vehicle is untaxed. Did you do the naughty one and were test driving it without any tax or do you have a trade plate?
