Very sad to see these young women in such desperate circumstances, they must turn to this for their livelihood. This is not a way to live. The cycle of poverty and addiction, keeps too many young people in “the life”, instead of being able to move up and out, and take their lives in a positive direction.
You think it’s bad here, but it’s worse in Latin and Spanish speaking countries and it’s also completely legal there it looks way more dangerous than any video I’ve seen of workers in the US.
This is probably a really random question but.. why are there SO MANY school busses driving around on a Saturday morning during the summer..?? I understand some cities have day camps and things during the weeks but on a Saturday?? .
My company relocated to this area, and unfortunately we were stuck parking our cars on these back blocks. Needless to say as a agency we could write a best seller on the foolishness that has occurred , including having our cars broken into and used as motel rooms…🤬
Breaking into a vehicle for 10min of action?! That's ridiculous! Surely they could do the deed in some back alley...but now that I think about it, that sounds dangerous 🫢
Imagine seeing your daughters out here selling ass knowing that you tried your best to give her a better life. But most times you cant decide your childrens lives..most times it's up to them

I grew up on Georgia between Hegeman and Newlots. Went to Gershwin and graduated from Jeff in '72. The area was rough but we had great homeowners on our block. My mom was active in the community.
Pennsylvania Ave, worked at the post office near the el in 1979. Two years after the infamous blackout of 1977. It was rough. Mostly had routes down Broadway, north into Bushwick, south into north end of Bed-Stuy for a couple blocks. Under the el, would see ladies hanging out near the storefronts. Mostly people were kind to me. Never had any trouble thank God.
I moved out of BROOKLYN NY (BROWNSVILLE) back in 1978. Best thing my parents ever did was to get us out of this jungle so we could better ourselves and walk in a different direction. I just can’t believe I was raised in such disgusting dysfunctional environment. folks that don’t want to better themselves will always be stagnant in life and enjoy such filthiness without knowing the true meaning LIVE LIFE. 😞
You can get got anywhere. How much better are you really doing with yourself? Since you are so much better than the people in Brownsville? Why did you come back to the hood and show the kids it's a better way out?
Grew up in BK most of my 50 yr life and know this area well.Have to agree with one comment is that back in the day,I think they had better discretion. They used the same area ,but mostly out in the night into very early morning.Anyway compared to other parts of the country. At least they work in BK off the beaten path so to speak.Where in Cali,Seattle,Phoenix..etc.They seem to work all in main shopping areas, regular neighborhoods, that makes living there look really bad.Jmo 🤔
That is correct! Sometimes I drive through this area around noon and still see some of them.the only difference is that the ladies you see at night are not the same you see during early morning. There's day and night shift. 😄
Bro, I live in Phx and it is nowhere close to this bad in the daytime. This is pathetic, the one girl towards the end looked like she flaunting her ass AT the school bus. New York and San Fran are our Sodom and Gomorrah, no question.
Shout out to all those hard-working sisters out there!!! trying to make a dollar out of $0.15 And trying to keep there heads above water*** Who ever never lived the Streetlight will never understand!!!
Very sad to witness this. Proper men of standard are sorely needed, as fathers would ensure their daughters wouldn't turn to this activity and there should be proper men to care for these wayward women, so that this would never be an option. This slack society and Jezebel spirit causes destruction.
@@PA-Tammy having Father's doesn't guarantee anything. You never know what could happen that would lead a Man or Woman to this type of activity. Not to mention many people's Father buy sex. Father's that come off as having standards buy sex, such as, Ministers, Principals, Government Officials etc. Humans like to have sex so selling sex will ALWAYS be an option.
My family grew up in this area back in the day when Belmont ave had the big fish market, my grandfather use to go get fish eggs, whitings and blue fish. Then go to Murrays for chicken, or the live chicken farm which i believe is still there. My family moved out of the area in the 1989, but I still paid visits to my friend in the projects. I also occasionally go to Mosque 7C on Pennsylvania ave.

East NY may not be the fanciest of places but there are a lot of families that live there that work hard, go to school, and do the best they can with what they have. I have seen the prostitution in that area, my family don't live too far. I pray for those women every day and their strength to get away from that life and leave their pimp. I try to keep in mind they're no different than those hard working families - they too are doing the best that they can with what life has afforded them. Its just difficult when I pass by the area and see the pimps on the corners watching them and not get upset... (fine example at 3:32 & 6:38 - they try to not look obvious but it be obvious)...and if they're outside in broad daylight like that then they didn't earn enough for their pimps the night before. Its heartbreaking! BUT that's only a small aspect of "the hood" and thankfully there's so much more to that neighborhood than just the sex workers. Hoping another video can highlight some of the positives!
Most of them don’t even have pimps nowadays this generation enjoy being a sex worker and has try they best to normalize it due to fast money it’s sad but that’s reality.

Selling their souls in East New York. It's a bigger sin if you buy their souls.
Ooooh great point🙌🏾
Sheesh horrible great point 😢
Not really
This ,they wouldn’t be out there if not for buyers
I do purchase souls sometimes, do that make me a sinner too ?
I feel sad to see, but I love the music you put this to 😂
Very sad to see these young women in such desperate circumstances, they must turn to this for their livelihood. This is not a way to live. The cycle of poverty and addiction, keeps too many young people in “the life”, instead of being able to move up and out, and take their lives in a positive direction.
Well said !
You think it’s bad here, but it’s worse in Latin and Spanish speaking countries and it’s also completely legal there it looks way more dangerous than any video I’ve seen of workers in the US.
Love the music, cN any one tell the name of it..the beginning..
This is probably a really random question but.. why are there SO MANY school busses driving around on a Saturday morning during the summer..?? I understand some cities have day camps and things during the weeks but on a Saturday?? .
There are commercial lots there. School bus companies rent it out.
But there is a school about 4 blocks away.
Did you'll catch dude getting service @ 6:57
My company relocated to this area, and unfortunately we were stuck parking our cars on these back blocks. Needless to say as a agency we could write a best seller on the foolishness that has occurred , including having our cars broken into and used as motel rooms…🤬
😬
Wow
Yup. Been doing that since the 80s. Never change
Breaking into a vehicle for 10min of action?! That's ridiculous! Surely they could do the deed in some back alley...but now that I think about it, that sounds dangerous 🫢
Be careful out there.
I'm from bedstuy but Eny was always on sum different vibes!
Hi Empress
That's you in your profile picture
Imagine seeing your daughters out here selling ass knowing that you tried your best to give her a better life. But most times you cant decide your childrens lives..most times it's up to them
Some of them girls are young and dumb putting money in a man’s hands instead of getting a job. I could never let no man control my mind!! I love my self as you see they got kids out there
I doubt that any of the girls in this video had a father with a mentality like that.
now imagine parents who send their daughters out there for income for the family.

I grew up on Georgia between Hegeman and Newlots. Went to Gershwin and graduated from Jeff in '72. The area was rough but we had great homeowners on our block. My mom was active in the community.
Back in the 80s East New York was hell. Hey still help but it got a little better that's my old old hood.. thank God I made it out of there. En.y.....
No shame in their game. I would be so shame. And they are so confident. WOW!
MINDSET is everything
Pennsylvania Ave, worked at the post office near the el in 1979. Two years after the infamous blackout of 1977. It was rough. Mostly had routes down Broadway, north into Bushwick, south into north end of Bed-Stuy for a couple blocks. Under the el, would see ladies hanging out near the storefronts. Mostly people were kind to me. Never had any trouble thank God.
Facts
I moved out of BROOKLYN NY (BROWNSVILLE) back in 1978. Best thing my parents ever did was to get us out of this jungle so we could better ourselves and walk in a different direction. I just can’t believe I was raised in such disgusting dysfunctional environment. folks that don’t want to better themselves will always be stagnant in life and enjoy such filthiness without knowing the true meaning LIVE LIFE. 😞
Yes! Brooklyn is bad, just as bad as the bronx.
To be honest, historically speaking, Brownsville and other parts of Brooklyn, NY weren't run down prior til the early 1960's from my understanding.
@@willyG503oh so u want to pay $5500 to live in Manhattan then go ahead cause it ain’t cheap
I agree with moving out of Brownsville but NYC in or NY is not that bad u just ain’t seen what it all has to offer
You can get got anywhere. How much better are you really doing with yourself? Since you are so much better than the people in Brownsville? Why did you come back to the hood and show the kids it's a better way out?
A lot of school buses out at 6:00 AM on a Saturday ??
How low do you have to sink to use one of these "women?"
Grotesque.
Starrett City…since 88…I used to walk to the 3 train from Geneva Loop instead of waiting for the B83 or 20 bus…
@@willyG503 Point taken 😁😉👍
Bro, I live in Phx and it is nowhere close to this bad in the daytime. This is pathetic, the one girl towards the end looked like she flaunting her ass AT the school bus. New York and San Fran are our Sodom and Gomorrah, no question.
@@sticksandstones3812 los ángeles is worst. I can safely say that LA has the first place in ghetto, homelessness, and prostitution. That's it.

Very sad to witness this. Proper men of standard are sorely needed, as fathers would ensure their daughters wouldn't turn to this activity and there should be proper men to care for these wayward women, so that this would never be an option. This slack society and Jezebel spirit causes destruction.
👌

Another jealous comment about the hoes with OF and insta people like coreyashley must be destroyed
@@PA-Tammy having Father's doesn't guarantee anything. You never know what could happen that would lead a Man or Woman to this type of activity. They say Prostitution is one of the oldest professions right? If Father's haven't been able to stop prostitution the last couple thousand years, why do you think they would be able to stop it now? Not to mention many people's Father buy sex. Father's that come off as having standards buy sex, such as, Ministers, Principals, Government Officials etc. Humans like to have sex so selling sex will ALWAYS be an option.

Pennsylvania av and what crossing streets? Or just down the whole Av?
My family grew up in this area back in the day when Belmont ave had the big fish market, my grandfather use to go get fish eggs, whitings and blue fish. Then go to Murrays for chicken, or the live chicken farm which i believe is still there. My family moved out of the area in the 1989, but I still paid visits to my friend in the projects. I also occasionally go to Mosque 7C on Pennsylvania ave.
The fish market on Belmont Avenue was called Slavin & Sons. My mother went there all the time to buy seafood. We also shopped on Pitkins Avenue and ate from the various establishments. It was so much fun back then…missing my childhood.
what street is this for research purposes?
Go to Cozine and Georgia. Plenty of material to research
Maybe if more people could earn a living wage and afford NYC, women wouldn’t be doing this

Correct !
Most of them don’t even have pimps nowadays this generation enjoy being a sex worker and has try they best to normalize it due to fast money it’s sad but that’s reality.
My parents are immigrants. We lived in ENY until i was 8 years old. Most ppl in our building were immigrants too (Carribean ppl). I used to get mad that my parents didnt let us play with water guns or go outside to play on the sidewalk in ENY, but in hindsight, they were looking out for us. This was in the 90s
