I have all of Joan’s films on dvd/blu ray. This one is filed under the lesser column along with “The Shining Hour”, “Laughing Sinners” and “No More Ladies” 😆 still magnificent to see her energy and presence on film though, regardless of the terrible script.
Joan Crawford was so beautiful, if I would of been born at this time, she would of been my favourite and I would of went to see all her movies..Such star quality...
Joan wasn’t a bad singer at all and this is beautiful in color at first I didn’t get the story but it’s The Follies and I think you just are suppose to enjoy it for that reason alone. I wish they still made pictures like this today. There just so beautiful and that in a picture is enough for me Soaking in the grandeur and make believe that is just folly
Crawford said of this film: "We must have all been out of our collective minds"
It’s a treat to see Joan in Technicolor when she was still young.
It’s an adorable film, and Joan will always be my glorious Queen of the silver screen! ❤️❤️❤️💐💐💐
Me too

Joan was so beautiful, on the fairytale theme, wasn't the evil queen's looks in snow white inspired by her lovely face?!

Lots of visual touches from "The Wizard of Oz" and at 01:57 the influence of "Oz" can be heard.
she really was striking
Well shoot
I guess now I gotta watch Ice Follies
That Beauty
Wat a beauty❤
Joan could actually carry a tune.
yes, but she always "tried too hard" whilst singing
Her torch song audio tracks say different
oh My God, she is so beautiful there, do you know if it was before or after THE WOMEN
Before. Ice Follies of 1939 was released on March 10, 1939, while The Women was released on September 1, 1939!
a real life cinderella indeed
Nice voice
That was Joan singing? It did sound like her voice. If it is - beautiful! Like her. She was a fine actress; a true start. Love her.
I wonder, was this movie shot in color? It looks great!
Only this scene is in color
Did JC really play Cinderella? Or is this taken from another movie? Where can we see this one?? Thank u!
She plays an actress who plays Cinderella. The movie is called Ice Follies of 1939!
I'm sorry but she looks like the Queen.
