Well Mike! We now know Mike Johnson is a Rhino OMG why!!!?????
Mike... if you take a zip tie and an old shirt sleeve or pillow case and attach it to the discharge shoot.
The chips will slow down enough to stay in the cart's box.
All that green lumber has got to make your building have an aroma to live! Mike, yesterday here in Fort Worth, TX we had a 3" rainfall! Our dog was discussed he couldn't go out and romp. However the thunder he hates and hauls it back in off the patio if it booms! We had a chilly 50°F this AM and the orchids outside are blooming like crazy.
Good morning y'all from British Columbia, wishing everyone a great Sunday !!!
Thanks for the videos Morgan family!
- Melissa If you want to see misery while operating a chipper / shredder watch the old classic movie … Fargo, omg. One of your viewers previously advised the chipper from the movie is in Fargo’s city museum. 😊
Good Morning Morgan Family 🌞- Have a Wonderful and Blessed Sunday 🤠
There is something hypnotic about watching the firewood falling from the belt. Kind of like watching a sprinkler work.
Melissa....."We just got back together!"😂😂😂
I knew that wasn't true because Mike couldn't do any of this without you, Melissa!
Good Sunday morning, Morgan's!! It's great to see the two of you "together again " Mike & Melissa!
Mike didnt like getting out worked!! But had to bring back the pretty hard worker. Both are ambitious!! Set a good example
Good Sunday morning Morgan family! Beautiful weekend so far here in SE PA. Hope you have a productive start to your week.
18:31 -- Ohhhhh, that beautiful walnut!! Mike, you ought to be ashamed for making me so envious when I see those boards come off the mill. I just think about what I could do with a couple of those in my garage shop! I have a widow lady down the street (we have a bunch of widows and older folks who live in our neighborhood--and my wife says I have the responsibility for taking care of them, so I make them lazy susans, cutting boards, and almost anything else they want out of my "stash" of black walnut (very limited quantity now), Honduran Mahogany, Cherry, Cherry Bark Oak, Bubinga, Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry), Padauk, ... and even some good hardwood pallet boards. I'll send you a photo of my latest--and favorite--18" lazy susan made with oak/hickory pallet boards). So, when I watch you saw up those boards, I have to take a break to catch my breath again. :-)
Wild growing privet is all over down here in southeast Alabama. Kudzu, privet, and wild mustard in every unplowed farmer’s field.
Those pieces getting chipped would make good tomato stakes/squash pole bean stakes for the garden
Good To See That Wonderful Smile Of Melissa's Your Stocking Up With Quite A Bit Of Lumber!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
Did you ever notice that "Melissa" videos get about 3 times more likes than non-Melissa videos? There's a reason for that! Good to see you back! 😀😀😀
No
Always nice to see her.
Going by the title of your video can she also tell everyone what the stone count was for last year??
Thanks Mike, I enjoyed seeing the stacked and stickered wood being placed into your indoor facility. I thought you might have had some speed racks, but it's possible you've changed your mind or you had to pivot for a reason or maybe you'll do that down at the wood cutting area under the pavilion once that gets a concrete floor poured and you start putting up siding. Thanks as always and it's great to see all of the activity again on the channel. That wood chipper is neat and dangerous all at once, I'm sure it keeps you on your toes while operating it and is there some maintenance you have to do every so often to keep the blades or grinders sharp on it as well? Thanks and shout out to Hunter! Brian - Prosper, TX
^Why was she standing there between the pallets....Madness Mike one slip !!
I think Melissa’s happy place is using a chipper. I recall her loving the Wallenstein chipper too!
Hello Morgans. Don't know if you remember me but I met and included you in my video from Boonville last year. Just wanted to say "Hi". Glad to see more of Melissa in your videos... more like "old times" 🙂.
Brilliant Melissa, you have head, eys and ear protection. 10 gold stars to you.
It is good to see Melissa again on the channel😃
It has been part of the channel for a long time with the family popping in and out from time to time, but because of life it is like machines are taking their places.🤔
It is good that life must go on and you have done a good job with the family but not seeing them as we did in the past doesn't mean we have to like it.😉
Bless you all.
Good morning to Hunter 👋👋😸 and family and friends 😸😺 Happy peaceful Sunday to you all 🙏🙏😸😺
Good morning!
Good Sunday Morning BadCat!

Morning team!
Good morning, happy Sunday! Enjoy the day
Mike I have watched your for years, I am 77, and 4 quarter or 8 quarter which you explained does not mean a darn thing to me. 1X4, 2x8, etc., gets it probably for everyone not into being a lumber mill person. You say that's how you do it. I say I do not work in a saw mill so thats not how it is done lol. 6 quarter is 1 1/2 inches blows my mine. Make it easy for us old people lol. Have a super blessed week.
We all know Mike hates mud. Lol Good morning, Morgan's . Have a blessed Sunday fun day🌞
Love the interaction between you and Melissa. Shows me a strong marriage. The black walnut looked very nice.
Happy Sunday ~ Enjoyed your recent Tour with Neal .... Enjoy the day Mike & Melissa
GOOOOOOOOD
SUNDAY MAAAAAAAAWNIN MY FELLOW OWTM’S FANS/FOLLWERS….Very happy to see Melissa back on camera with ya Mike. Yinz two interactions always crack me up 😂…Mike “DON’T” hit that pavilion 😮….
Pretty walnut wood for sure
Thanks for sharing as always
Have a day
HELLOOOO Hunter 😊
Good maawnin Jack!
@@johnsadler8637 HELLOOOO John!! How’s things with y’all?
Mike and Melissa are hard at it in the wood yard!!!
Good morning Morgan family!!❤❤❤❤❤
Mike, you should get a forestry mulcher for your skid steer. Great piece of equipment.
I have a small garden and a small chipper. But I find it really satisfying and soothing to use it.
Good morning Morgan family ❤
A one ton trailer with 3 foot mesh sides cut some cheap 8x4 sheet to go up against the sides and then the chippings can be fired straight into the rear of the one ton. This size of trailer will have many uses if you go down the livestock root as it will track nicely behind tractors and pickups. We have a petrol powered chipper which handles upto 6 inch material and tows nicely behind both pickup and Transit.
Set youself up a composite pile purely for cleaered out chicken house chippins and chicken droppings. They take a bit of time to break down, but has many uses around one's property.
Morning Morgan's, good variety of content. Always good to see Melissa's Smile and take on things. Have a great day everyone.
Mike ,Save some of the saw dust when you slab the walnut . If the wood is going to be used for to build a a cabinet or the like ,the sawdust can be used to fill ant hole or imperfections ,matching the original shade . This is a added perk for someone buying wood from you, a good selling point .
Welcome back, Melissa - good to see you again, still with your sense of humo !! Love it !!
Say "Hi" to Hunter and your girls (if you ever see them?) How's your grandson,Ty doing, must be getting BIG ? Have a day !!😅
Hi Mike
I was watching TH-cam to learn about starting trees. They used a stainless steel mesh bags around the roots to stop invaders!
Good morning Mike and Melissa, nice bright morning up here in Minnesota
Mike it was so funny between you and Melissa. 😂 It was good to see you and Melissa working together again. Love that chipper and splitter too. And the nice lumber from the sawmill. Cool video. 👍❤️
Thank you Mike, always enjoy watching what projects you're working on and a pleasant Sunday morning surprise to see Melissa and her wonderful smile.
This morning show on TH-cam comes up under all shows, but not under subscriptions heading. 1st time with this issue. I'm in sunny FL.
Love your shows.
A 5x8 or 5x10 dump trailer would work good for a wood chip trailer to chip into. Like the chipper it works good on them slabs. Nice video. Glad to see Melissa working with you in the wood yard. Have a great day be safe
Talk about pumping. You should see the mud a train can pump while rolling over jointed rail. One of the reasons we switched to CWR.
CWR : Continuously welded rail. You must be a railroad man. I was one for a few years, Designer Roadway, Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, Carbondale, IL.
Good Morning Morgan's, a beautiful Sunday morning here in Prince Edward Island Canada 🇨🇦.
👍👍👍👍👍👌Melissa was very lucky on her ankle, great story on how innocent actions can lead to serious injury, enjoyable video with varied subjects thanks for sharing!
That chipper looks more like fun than work, satisfying to watch .
Productive day at Camp Morgan. Good to see Melissa back in action. Im glad she didnt get hurt feeding that “ lumber “ in to the chipper lol. Stay safe everybody
Hardwood is measured in quarters, as 4/4, 6/4 etc.. Hemlock, pine and other softwoods are in inches,
That’s better, back to doing what you do best and Mellisa came down to the wood yard and helped you out for a bit. Thanks for the video.
Great safety gear while running the chipper Melissa. Thank you for thinking safety first.
That chipper is a good machine. The walnut is a beautiful piece of wood. Good seeing you guys. Have a day!!
Morning outdoors fam👋👋
Mike, buy a real wood chipper for processing your scrap wood and forest remnants. Great way to minimizing burning and utilize the wood chips in your property improvement. Checkout the price of new and used chippers. Maybe rent one. Do an episode on this subject. 👍👍👍
Great to see Melissa, that certainly is a perfect stack of lumber.
Mike the stickers were off a 1/4” in 5th and 6th row down from the top 😂. Melissa must have done those. Have a day! ❤️
I agree with Melissa about the large rock in the pavilion as it is very hard to walk on. Even the two inch stuff that I have on my driveway is hard to walk on.
Hey Mike, we love ya brother, but it is good to see Melissa’s smile back on your channel!
Privet is what gives me privacy on the borders of my land. In the middle of the land I don't want any privet. My neighbor has goats and they love to eat privet, stripping it bare as far up the trunk as they can reach. Makes it easy to cut down.
Great seeing Melissa back. You are doing great getting the pine cut, stacked, & stickered.
That walnut is beautiful
I’m wondering if the Morgan’s will attend the NE Forest Products Equipment Show in Essex Junction,Vermont on May 3 and 4. I’m sure the promoters would love to have you folks make an appearance at the show. I know that WoodMizer will be represented there. Since you are their unofficial spokesman of WoodMizer, you could share your experience to the show attendees of WoodMizer sawmills. I know I will be in attendance. Your videos are interesting and informative. The video with Messick’s was the best. I never knew their facility was so huge and they offered many products and services to their customers. Thank you for making that video. As always, I get many good ideas from watching your channel.
Yeah, privet is my nemesis also. Goats will decimate the younger privet trees, but it takes years (or decades) to exhaust the seed bank.
Melissa is a hoot. I want to see she says! Lol. Glad she stayed safe. That walnut was nice . Seems you've put a dent in the log piles. Great content.
Glad to see Mellisa back!
As with all of your equipment you have mastered that saw very quickly. Love that Black Walnut wood. It has such a beautiful grain and color. Things are really looking good on the Morgan's Homestead. You and your family are a testament to what anyone can accomplish when they have a vision, and strong enough desire to overcome adversity. May the good lord continue to bless you and the family, and as always, thank you for the great content.
Last Wednesday/Thurday am we 14.58 inches of rain in one night!
Thank God you showed her how to run the wood hipper. I would never throw that much of debris I at once.
Build a lid with 1/4 inch hardware cloth on it to catch the chips. You can make side boards for the trailer to get more in it.
Was thinking about your trailer while chipping. Maybe instead of laying lumber across to stop chips from getting blown out, put a snap on canvas cover so you can move it to what ever position you want to trap sawdust, and then you could cover it while its raining.
My wife watches way more when Melissa is in videos so like in the older 4yr old videos it adds attitude lol
Thanks
Mark
We have tons of privet hedge down here in Louisiana. The only way to get rid of it is to move!
Greetings from S. E. Ohio. Mike, don't know if you seen "In The Woodyard" this morning, but Chris done an interview with someone that does nothing but bundled firewood. And he has a skidloader that has a rotating fork on it that dumps the baskets of firewood. Just thought you might be interested. Have a wonderful day and give Hunter a big Hello
Hey mike, use the tailgate from the trailer to keep the chips from blowing out. You have it right there then you won't have to use slabs.
Mike how did the pond fare after this latest round of rain?
How perfect. Has Melissa earned the nickname “Gumby”?
Love y’all! Fun to watch wood chewed up like that! By the way, my mom’s maiden name was Morgan which drew me to channel originally! Could be related! Great on video as usually and a hardy Howdy from Texas!
Picked up 24 inch WB rake yesterday and used it all weekend on KX040. Absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing the information about it.
Agreed #3 stone is terrible to walk on. Wonder what double chipped would look like for the chicken run.
You could make some great tomato stakes out of what you are chipping!
That's the most perfectly stacked lumber I've ever seen. Can't wait to see the auger in action :)
Great video and Melissa done great job with the chipper!
Nice video Mike, love seeing Melissa in your videos. You have definitely got a great wife.😁
So thank god your double jointed Melissa and Mike you can bennifit from her different angles lmao
The walnut looks fantastic.
Extremely nice looking packs of lumber. You guys are Really awesome.
Thanks for the great title Motor Mike. It was coffee spitting fun for us guys at the coffee shop.
Top row has a crooked sticker on the right, at 1:25. Just pulling your chain. Love to watch your channel. I'm a little OCD, too. Ask my wife. ;-)
Y’all make a great team! Thanks for another great video, that chipper is a beast.
Great video glad to see Melissa out and about 🤠
Good morning Morgan family
The slabs would look good as natural siding for a wood shed.
Good Morning Guys,
I was thinking of what you could do with the chips in the wagon.
First I thought a large canvas bag on the chute.
The wagon would capture all the chips neatly.
Then I thought using the tank from an. IBC Tote Might work out good.
Just some thoughts
Have a blessed day.
You need a canvas top on your little dump trailer, kind of like a Conestoga wagon.
Good morning Mike and Melissa, looks like a great productive day hopefully it will turn out to be a productive week ahead. 😀👍👍👍
Hey Mike what’s your chipping would make perfect stickers for your lumber
Can always tell when the views are down, Mike brings in the secret weapon... Melissa. 😁
I like the way the chipper works but I would wrap one of the blue tarps around the trailer to keep everything in the trailer. Melissa made a refreshing appearance today and we need to see more of her. We ga e an abundance of privet popcorn trees and Logan grass in south Mississippi. We don't need any more Chinese products. Have fun and stay safe!
Thanks for not squishing Melissa between the stickered boards Mike, we need her to be around, lol!
Bill... ❤
We have had the same weather as you guys it's tadge frustrating too. Best wishes from Garth Cottage Moonzie near St Andrews Fife Scotland ❤❤
I like these videos too. I enjoy all your videos. Keep them coming. Stay safe and well.
