  • This videos shows the process of replacing the steering wheel on a 2010 Mazda3. We decided to replace the worn out stock steering wheel with aftermarket wheel from CorkSport. The new wheel has a flat bottom and much better grips. This is a great upgrade for anyone and can easily be done in a short amount of time with basic tools.
    Parts needed:
    New steering wheel
    Tools needed:
    Socket wrench
    10mm deep well socket.
    21mm socket
    Phillips head screwdriver (#2)
    Torque Wrench

Very informative and helpful video. My son is putting on a steering wheel cover and it needs to go under the plastic lips of the controls, but they need to be loosened a bit to slip the edge under there. This will help a lot!

Very good video, I wanted to know what all the bolt sizes were before I did this swap. Only bit of constructive criticism I have is to remember these are screws, not bolts. I.E. tight is tight, don't have to torque down on them so hard, there would be no way to repair that plastic if it snaps.

I would like to have a dedicated voice assistant button on the steering wheel, which I haven't got in my Mazda 3

I was wondering why he didn't re-install "that part" until I read your comment and re-watched the removal as I didn't realize it was a pop can. WTF ?
