Nice vid. I charge my lipos in a saucepan. Good thing too cause when my 4 & 6s lipos started whistling I had just enough time to take them outside before the massive explosion💥 🔥🎆

Check out the BAT SAFE for lipos it's a box designed to store and charge , works amazingly, a must have

Good packs have a high c charge rate like thunderpower 70/140c with a 12c charge rate

Hashim Mahmood most chargers nowadays will stop when it's supposed to, if not I recommend getting a new charger lol

My lipo charger had a safety measure to where it won't charge unless you have the balance plugged in
So could i charge a 9000mAh 4S lipo with a 6A charger, by charging at a rate which is smaller than 1? thx

I've heard that if you store your lipos in a cold area (For example fridge) They will also have a longer life time. Is this true?
no idea but ive heard it can bring swelling down, not tried it myself
Hmmm, Dumb guy I think not. After many exhausting hours of research on lipos, charge rates, S, C etc. Kev throws down basic lipo info in less than 10 minutes and it actually makes sense.

I dont, i just run then down and leave them till i need them next, you're always better to storage charge though

Yes, very bad.
No. As long as you use it within 2-3 days. A lot of people charge their batteries the night before to use them the next day.

Most people recommend to balance charge them all the time, takes abit longer but supposedly alot safer in the long run, what say you all?
I ballance all the time but if all the cell voltages are all the same you can get away with just a normal charge.

Purchase a balance charger, lipos never had good charge without balance port.
I have a charger 4010duo with a mean well 2000watt power supply I can charge up to 70 amps times 2

don't bully me if i sound like a noob but how come its 'S' after the the cells not c? i get that it would cause confusion but they could call it ce
it stands for series if p its parallel sometimes it might say 2p4s for example

It depends, check how many cells your batter has. 2 cell = 2s 3 cell = 3s etc.

they just degrade really fast when charged and not used
It raises the internal resistance, then they become less efficient at charging/discharging which is impacting the overall life of the pack. On bash days, I get up early and charge whatever I'm running that day. Having a 4x100w charger comes in handy for that. Been thinking of getting 2 chargers... but I don't have the space.
