I've had similar physical and emotional/grief things happen in the last six months as well. I wish I could convey how much your videos help. Sending prayers up for you and yours. Thank you so very much

Wow, yes I have to say WOW! It seems I find the messages I need for my day in your videos. I stopped and mixed my tea blend and it’s steeping while I finish watching. I’m so sorry for your loss and I second the motion to have a moratorium. I received my order from your Etsy store and was thrilled with my selections. While I love each item and the handmade care and environmental impact that you put into them I was truly touched by the packaging, even the handwritten note on the outside. I want you to know that your efforts didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you 🪶🪶🪶

Hugs sweet friend!!! I’m so terribly sorry for another loss. And now I’m inspired to go mix up a beautiful tea as well… I’m usually boring and just brew only nettles or only raspberry leaves etc…. Your way sounds better! 😂.

I usually do just nettle and oatstraw, lol! But I do like to add extras here and there. Lemon balm is another one I go to often. I'll do equal parts lemon balm, nettle, and oatstraw. That one is so good! Thank you for the virtual hugs! 🥰

Thank you! I think the hibiscus and strawberry tartness overwhelmed the rose taste but it was still good, and the benefits are there even if you don't taste them.

So sorry for all of your recent losses. You're showing wisdom in how you handle them. I'm really interested in trying my own tea blends. Where do you buy the teas that you don't grow yourself? Do you grow most of them? Do you have a soy milk recipe that you're happy with? Mine still has a bitter, beany aftertaste, despite trying a number of strategies that are supposed to help prevent this.

Thank you! I mostly buy the bulk herbs now from Azure Standard, at least the ones I go through the most: nettles, oatstraw, elderberries and lemon balm. Azure has a decent selection, but they really don't have much compared to other places. For other herbs I use (hawthorn, elderflowers, yarrow, etc) I like to go with Mountain Rose Herbs. They have pretty much everything and for the most part their prices are fair. In a pinch, I've been known to grab an herb or two off of Amazon, but you need to be careful which brands you choose because you can't ever guarantee the source. Frontier Co-op, as far as I know, is a good brand. You can research which brands are the most trustworthy. Try to get the info from a place that isn't selling anything.
As to soy milk, all of my homemade soy milk retains that beany flavor. I'm the same as you, I've tried many things to get rid of it, but nothing works. I wouldn't call any of my soy milk bitter. But maybe there's a taste you register that I don't. I like to use my homemade soy milk for tofu. It's AMAZING. A lot of work, but so delicious. The best tasting brand of soy milk I've found is the Silk. I get organic unsweetened, it's in a green carton. I get it at Walmart. Around here, it's only $3 at Walmart but literally everywhere else it's $5.99. I also like to grab half gallons of soy milk at my local Asian markets, but they do still have that beany taste. For the fewest ingredients, the soy milks at the Asian markets and the Trader Joe's unsweetened soy beverage are the best value for a soy milk containing only soy beans and water.
Sorry for the ridiculously long answers, lol! But hopefully it helps.

@@VeganPrepper I appreciate your thorough response! The longer, the better. 😊 I'm thankful that I can buy quality soy milk for a reasonable price (and I do buy the ones you mentioned) but I'm on a mission to make my own, kind of like your tofu, I guess. I've been freezing my okara for a rainy day project. I got a Soyabella for Christmas but had to return it. Either it was defective or there is something wrong with me! I thought soy milk would be an easier place to start than tofu but maybe that's not accurate. I will look around a little more on the bulk herbs. It's not a high priority this year so no hurry to buy. I might start with just a few that I can grow well here in zone 7.

We don’t have nada moo around us… I looked up the ingredients and they have clean ones! We can’t buy ice cream here anymore cause they have added carragenen to all dairy ice creams! It’s frustrating.

I stopped purchasing ice cream exactly because of the sugar content. Now I just make it in many different flavors using frozen bananas as a base.

Oh, yes!!! Bananas make such amazing ice cream! People doubt it and then they taste it and they become believers.
