You're welcome! Yes, those are all great LEGO themes, a lot of my favorite toys are operated on pumping air, I love the alien tubes that send them to different parts of the space station and I love the Ghost Blaster pop guns from Bionicle Mistika. And yes Aqua Raiders and Exo Force are very cool too! I love Exo Force for the robots and the fact that the guys look like anime LEGO people, definitely special and different.

@@DragonClaw-eg6nj Way back when the commercials were on the lego cite, the last animation of this compilation where the astronaut is running from the aliens originally had no commercial voice in the second half, just the visuals and sound effects. I'll tell if I come across it.
I only have one mars mission set and it's not in any of the commercials. It was a vehicle that could transform between space craft or ground vehicle. You could fold the Wings under the body or out to the side and the wheels would resemble engines. Also included a small alien ship. LEGO 7647 Best budget mars mission set imo.
I love how the commercials are more or less painting the astronauts as the goodies when they are literally barging onto the aliens' home planet and stealing all their resources lol.
Humans always make excuses for themselves to seem like the good guys in the situation when that is either rarely or never the case, I mean, I'm willing to believe these astronauts were just ignorant of the fact that Mars was the alien's home, but they should have peacefully gone back to Earth if the aliens didn't want them doing what they were doing. This kind of thing happens all the time in real life on Earth as well with all the deforestation and stuff like that.
@@DragonClaw-eg6nj yep, 100% agreed. I remember (in the games) that the aliens were the aggressors, attacking when the astronauts approached them peacefully. While that's obviously a bummer, I feel like the alien is kinda justified in these actions, given that they properly can't communicate via language (and that the astronauts have been doing mining for a while before the alien showed up)
Life On Mars shows that these aren't the Martians. The real Martians probably got wiped out by these invaders. So while the humans aren't exactly the good guys for exploiting mars, they are fighting invaders that are worse.

The aliens in the theme were not Martians but actually invaders which fought with earth for crystals on Mars
Lego doesn't like realist depictions of recent conflict. The scifi and fantasy stuff are less realistic and thus not as much of an issue.

I got the Aqua Raiders base with the giant squid for Christmas. I was in heaven that day. No Christmas could ever live up to it.
