    Actually they don’t get tired because each member get the same amount of time to sing and Seventeen is like a family hehe, everyone has a part also they have a lot of unit and solo stuff too. 28:14 he is the writer and producer and composer of seventeen with his friend Bumzu, their studio is called universefactory. he even got the best producer award in 2021 :)
    they’re also the most synchronized group in k-pop and called the powerhouse in kpop. they have also many rap songs because
    17= 13 members + 3 units(performance, hiphop and vocal) + 1 whole team

    They usually have a really equal line distribution mostly because they're very involved in their music, so it makes it easy for them to get equal distribution. They never get annoyed or irritated because they are basically a family. They also have 3 units where they can all showcase their talents differently.❤️

  • @13plus3plus1
    @13plus3plus1 ปีที่แล้ว +143

    They don't get mad about line distribution. It's really well distributed acrually. But they also are divided into three units: HipHop, Vocal and Performance. Each unit has its own leader as well And each unit had its own songs. Plus they do solo projects as well. They are self producing so they work on their own music: write, compose, choreograph. Pretty talented.
    If you wanna react to a guide, I'd suggest the super long guide 2023 version. It's divided into 4 parts: intro, HipHop, Performance and Vocal. We'll watch with you.
    But for a mv, i think you'd like "Cheers" by Seventeen Leaders and "Fire" by the HipHop Unit.
    Awesome reaction, thank you.

    it is so rare to find a group like seventeen. they are one of a kind. imo
    they are considered one of the most sinchronized performance groups and are alle allrounders (singer, dancer and rapper)
    your favourite that you mentiond a couple of times is woozi and he is actually the mastermind behind basacally all of their songs since he composes and writes them.
    the reason they are called seventeen is: they are 13 members, 3 subunits: hiphop unit, vocal unit and performance unit. and it forms 1 team so 13+3+1=17
    fandom name is „carats“.

    I honestly know that music taste is subjective and not everyone likes the same genres but what is absolutely true is that Seventeen has one of the best discographies. They have almost every genre of music in it: noisy songs, hiphop, ballads, R&B, latin style, anime style, classical instrumentation, theatrical style, jazz, pop, rock, punk rock, contemporary, EDM, etc. About the line distribution, because they self-produce and self-choreograph their own music, they heve one of the most fair line distribution in Kpop not only for singing but also for center position when dancing obviously.
    7:55 I also thought that since they're 13 people it was going to take me a lot of time to learn the names and identify each one of them but honestly it only took me 2 days to do so whilst there are groups of 6 or 7 members that after a year I still haven't learned their names completely. I don't know what it is about Seventeen but it's really easy to get to know them and their personalities
    26:33 They don't even think about it, it has never bothered them nor the fandom. The truth is it's not a big deal to us, Seventeen has a lot more lines and time for each member than some groups of 6 or 7 where 1 or 2 of their members have no lines at all or just do the backup vocals. Late 4th gen groups and especially those debuted from 2021/22 only have many lines for the most popular or most loved members within the company but for the others there are almost no lines
    31:30 Seventeen has a rap unit and 95% of their discography has rap parts however BTS or SKZ have a more speed-driven rap while SVT focuses more on fluidity and melodic rapping. Personally I prefer Seventeen's rap style than the loud and fast rap, I think in a song is much nicer the fluidity than the speed because many times the speed messes with the rhythm of the song unless it's an exclusive hip hop or rap song

    One thing to remember the members have their own units like Hip Hop, Vocal and Performance so when they perform within their individual units they have more lines and their time to shine. They also have solo songs which gives you the opportunity to see more of their individuality.. When coming together as a whole group each member does get a chance to sing or rap within the song this is not always the case with some of the groups who have lots of members but Seventeen always does that could be cause they are self producing. Write. Compose, and Choreograph themselves they are not forced to have limits to their creativity like other groups who are dictated to by their companies and have other people writing and producing their music for them. You should check out some of their unit songs and solos.

    Regarding the lines, Seventeen is one of those groups that has the most fair line distro however even if some members might get a shorter line the members actually put so much importance as a group that they know and don't mind these. Seventeen also has a freedom to just drop solo stuff out of the blue, and on top of that on their album they have unit songs as well allowing each members to get more lines. But Seventeen are all rounders , their vocal harmony for me is top notch too, they have diff vocal colors but they actually make it work.

    i feel like you shouldnt stress yourself on knowing their names i took my sweet time and each comeback i had two or three members down eventually you will get there but take no rush, SVT is one of the groups that are the most syncronized groups in kpop like ever so the dance practices are soooo satisfying to watch, I agree with you on saying that they are more kpop than the other groups you react to its kinda their style but they do have hard hitting songs too. There older stuff are bright concepts but they all catchy.
    if you wanna do pt 2 here are some recommendation: very nice, Clap, dont wanna cry, anyone, Home
    or they also have subunits.
    SVT Leaders: cheers
    Performance unit: moonwalker
    HipHop unit: Fire
    Vocal unit: Habit
    BSS: Fighting

SVT in general are very involved in their music nd performance making. They are probably the Most Involved grp I have ever seen tbh.

    The thing with seventeen is that if a member is getting 1 line, they'll find a way to make him shine on the Music video and the live performances so you never feel like someone is overshining the other. Examples i love to use are "Anyone" where Vernon gets 1 line but his prescence in the song is so memorable that a lot of people say it's his song, or even in Super, The8 (the one that gets kind of a solo shot right after the sick ass transition lol) he was one of the most talked about members of the comeback and he was only in the song that one time and on top of that he was injured so he couldn't perform the whole thing with them but they still found a way to make him shine. Considering that Woozi produces 99% of their stuff, he could be selfish and work the songs to his benefit like... other groups where the producers will rap and sing most of the song (yes that's shade and if the shoe fits wear it) except, he doesn't. They're all so aware of the strengths of each member and know how to work as a team so perfectly... idk, so far Seventeen and BTS are the only groups that make me feel like they actually strive to work together and shine TOGETHER always.

  • @thedarkestpath7464

    Dancing is something you learn, there is no one who just knows how to do it without practice, and as long as you’re able-bodied there is no one who cannot learn. Jin and RM of BTS, Lia of Itzy, Yeri of Red Velvet and Chanyeol from Exo are a few artists who have acknowledged that they were not dancers before debut and I’m sure it was difficult to learn. Some of them still struggle but they keep up and follow the choreography to the best of their abilities. Many idols don’t know how to rap or sing or dance before debut. Most times they lack in one or two aspects but sometimes they don’t know how to do any of them but hard work and dedication pays off and all of these talents can be learned with time. Hope that answers your question.

    Lol, I felt like you guys were being careful with your words haha. Don’t worry if it’s not your favorite. Everyone has their own preferences and SVT has a unique sound (our theater kids). You guys seem to like hip hop aggressive. SVT has sometimes aggressive hip hop unit songs but they are mostly chill and lyrical as they pride on the flow and wordplay. They do have a few group songs with that sound as well.
    SVT probably has the most equal line distribution I know out of K-POP groups, probably because one of the members, Woozi, is the one that writes and produces basically all of their music. He and the group has final say in the output.
    If anyone is shortened for lines, it’s either for a reason (like for Super, THE8 was recovering from an injury so his part is short BUT memorable).
    I don’t think they get annoyed about line distribution, they really think of the team as the most important (just like BTS and StrayKids) and they are able to showcase their talents in units/solos/variety. I doubt they would have renewed their contract (early!) if it was a problem.
    They all had their roles in the beginning too, like SCoups being leader of Hiphop and the group and the mediator between the company and his team/Woozi writing an producing the music/Hoshi choreographing or participating in the group choreography/Seungkwan promoting their group…I could go on.
    13 SEEMS like a lot for someone that is just dabbling in their music but they all had their roles and purpose, even if that role was more outside of the studio and performance in the beginning of their career.
    I believe SVT is the healthiest group out of all the groups I know (atleast in boy groups) in regards to career, relationship (with their fans and team) and mentalities.

    I really like that you did not hesitate to pause your video to search for something. Us fans will always give lots of needed (and sometimes unneeded info) in the comments because we are so passionate abt the groups and want the reactors to better know them and understand the videos, but it still feels great to see moments (even if they are extremely rare) during which reactors look up something they are curious abt.

  • @haleyxo5385
    @haleyxo5385 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm sure you already know by now through these comments but Seventeen are actually a very unique group. I'm not sure if there'll ever be a group of this many people that all manage to get along, are actually talented, and are just amazing at everything. As you've been told despite being such a large group the line distribution is actually way more even than most groups with less people. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE gets time to shine in one way or another but they'll 99% of the time not just sing one line and never be shown again, they sing multiple lines and those who might happen to have 'fewer' lines actually get a lot of center time in the choreo or are just showcased more often. I still wonder how despite having so many people I feel like they all have enough time in a 3 minute song. There's also units within seventeen (rap, vocal, dance) where each unit has 3-5 members and they each release their songs and performances in Seventeen's album so you get to see all of them like you would a standard sized group, it's actually quite smart. I won't even talk about their dancing or performances because as you see they are extremely well known in Korea as being one of if not THE best performance group. I hope you'll dive into them more because as you saw through this their songs are all different genres and are vastly different from one another so you get so much diversity. They also make their own music and contribute to their choreography.. they really do everything. Thanks for checking them out!

  • @anishapal5170
    @anishapal5170 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    They have three units within the group, division goes like 5--4-4. Vocal Team, Hiphop team and Performance team. So if you want to see each member sing/rap more you can check their individual unit songs, they more or less release it in every album. But not every unit song has music video. So to check both sing and mv you can react to "Pinwheel", "Chocolate" by Vocal Unit, "Trauma", "Check-in" by Hiphop Unit, "Highlight", "Lilili Yabbay" by Performance team. Other than these there are numerous live performances by these units. They sometimes mix up different units too, they released songs by age unit too (95liner, 96liner,97 liner and the maknae lines). There are solo songs too by different members, Hoshi, Woozi, Vernon, Jun, The8 have solo songs and mvs. Anyway I can understand what you are saying by how can they be satisfied by singing one line, but their line distributions is so far the best in the whole kpop industry. If one member does not get the most lines in one song, he gets to shine in dance breaks or in chorus. They beautifully balance everything. In my opinion, they are the most genuine group ever, so sincere towards the music they make and the fans.

    15:38 they do get signed, most of them are not really great at dancing from the begining, but the training is very intense and as you can see it does get results. Even if they can't learn to dance as well as others the choreos can be adjusted to let them take the spots at the back during the harder parts or to give them less intense moves or take advantage of their natural charisma and flow and also let the better dancers shine in certain parts, though I think it can be less noticeable now in newer groups were everybody seems to be a great dancer. Also there's soloists that don't really dance much, but they learn like basic stuff to be able to add some choreo to their stages. They also could have a career as balladists and not dance like ever. Plus there's some bands formed through the idol training process as well, they focus their training more on singing and playing instruments so they usually are not as strong dancers as others but some could very well have been in a dancing group as well. So yeah, the process to enter a company, train and debuting is harsh and long and they really get pushed to learn many things to better exploit their potential and garner attention, it's a very well oiled machine that has some great results and success stories and some very dark sides, as any entertainment environment has

    About the not being able to sing thing, funnily enough there's a kband named Day6, and part of their formation story was that one of their vocalists has such talent that the company didn't want to let go of him even though he was not a good dancer, so they ended up putting together the band with trainees that were talented musicians.

    Their always certain groups that shock you of how their is so many members yet their still so synchronized in dancing and all can sing and rap like it’s so impressive, and honestly two groups that are like that are definitely seventeen and Twice , Svt with 13 members and Twice with 9 members and on top of all that they all get to sing/rap in every song , and no matter what still to me have the most genuine friendships with each other , like in K-pop their is a 7 years curse because most K-pop groups always disband after 7 years and almost never renew their contracts , btw some members can decide to renew their contracts and some can decide to leave when their contracts are over so groups never last long after the 7 year curse, but twice and seventeen are one of the groups that passed the 7 year curse , for example the twice members all said they renewed their contracts because they wanted to be in twice forever with the members not because of the company and each member didn’t know if the other members decided to stay or leave til 2022 when the company revealed that all twice members renewed their contracts that’s when the girls found out they said they were really happy because even though some members didn’t like the company or might get mistreated by the company they all stayed because they knew they wanted to be in this twice thing for life, same with seventeen and I really love that for them 🥺🥺💓💓💓🥹

    honestly, the fact that theres 13 of them and line distribution is not an issue. you can have a group with 6 people and someone might only get 6 seconds and someone else 50 secs and that aint fair. its the fact they have 13 members and line distribution is like SO EQUAL.
    also they have so many songs and unit songs and some even solos so not having enough parts is never an issue.

    The song you guys were thinking about in the beginning was “Everybody” by Backstreet Boys(Backstreet’s back, alright). There’s also a solo artist “Eric Nam” who’s not a great dancer but his voice is AMAZING! You definitely need to check him out(EVERY SONG IS A HIT). Lastly, I think you guys should check out the dance practices for “Hot” & “Super”.

    The thing with seventeen is even though they have a lot of members they don't outshine each other. They have 3 sub units (vocal, performance, and hip hop) where they showcase more of their individuality (not saying they don't as group because they still totally do). The point is they have more lines in their sub units. And for me "getting mad for having a few lines" is not in their dictionary, because they work as one and after the result and success of their songs and albums.. They treat each other as a family so really, there's no competition in that aspect within the group except if you're asking who's the normal one that, you can rank 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Carats would know what I mean 🤣

    You don't need to be shy, they are REALLY GOOD LOOKING GUYS, and we know it! Our eyes are blessed every day!😂
    I must explain something that you mentioned. Before idols are idols, they are trainees at the companies and if they are not good at everything they will never debut! Some might sing better than dance, but they must do everything! Kpop is a though industry, many don't make it!
    Loved the reaction!

    To answer your question: Not being able to dance at all would probably eliminate you during the training phase, but as this period can last years on end, many improve immensely, so a very talented vocalist can definitely get to a level where he fits into such a group. However, there have been instances where hard work would apparently really not help. For Day6's Sungjin for example, the solution was to create a band - so instruments instead of dancing instead😂

    • @selinapeace
      @selinapeace ปีที่แล้ว

      Sungjin was such an incredible singer but because the company created the band he had to learn guitar in 6 weeks!

    usually they distribute the lines very very well and when some members get the least lines they’re usually the lines you can’t get out of your head😭, also they have many solo songs and individual opportunities, they’re also each part of smaller units with only either 4 or 5 members so they do have lots of unit songs where they get to showcase their talents much more! And there really isn’t any bad blood or annoyance, I mean.. they’ve made it this far and been through so much together, even renewing their contract like a year earlier than they had to! and every time we try to show them how much we love them, they’ll always come out and show us that no one can love seventeen more than seventeen themselves! They’re all so dear to each other and they’ve shown that time and time again, one of the strongest bonds I’ve ever witnessed they really are so special🥺

    Usually if there’s an idol who maybe lacks in dance, they all train in dance, but if they just don’t meet the standard they can be put in purely vocal groups or bands. Not saying no one in The Rose, FT Island, N Flying or Day6 can’t dance, but let’s be honest, it’s just not their specialty.

    How it works in kpop most of the time is if you have less lines most likely you show up more in the front during the chreo or you get more screen time in the music video for a big group seventeen actually has one of the best line distributions in kpop, don’t misunderstand even if your a group of 5 you may still end up having to sing 1 line bcs some companies usually give the most popular member more lines because their line of thought is, your bringing in more people so I’ll give more lines so you can continue to bring more people into the fandom most companies don’t treat their idols well

    WOW! Hope to see more seventeen!~
    And the guy you liked is Woozi who is the producer of the group and leader of vocal unit!~
    And yea their dances is amazing! They are very synchronized too.
    They produce, choreograph and write and hence are self-producing.
    Also they have a vast genre. Like there are some rap heavy songs too like Getting Closer, Fear etc., but many singing heavy songs too like F*ck My life, Don't Wanna Cry, Circles.
    Also the 13 members usually get a really good line distribution. But they also have unit songs: vocal team (5 members), hiphop team(4 members), performance team(4 members). And sometimes units based on age groups. Also all of them can sing rap and dance and they do unit reverses in their fanmeet caratland~ But generally too there are songs in which the rappers all sing too or the vocal team raps and all. And as we can see all of them can perform.~

    mannnnnnnnnn next to bts, i would say seventeen is my ultimate group. since they have a beautiful number of 13 members, so much variety it’s crazy. their vocals ARE INCREDIBLE they produce, write & even choreography all of their own performances. they are all so fun and amazing human beings alongside the hard work they put in. insane group of men that are so so damn good. i don’t even understand most of the time if i’m being fr 😅🫶🏾 love from army & carat! (svt fandom name)

  • @17caratmonster14
    @17caratmonster14 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    none of them are selfish enough to request lines because they understand what they need to do as a 13 member group. And besides that, everyone has time to shine because on their albums, there are tracks solely focused on the vocal team, hip hop team, and performance teams.
    it's already their 8th year as a group, if they get annoyed by the line distribution I think they wouldn't last this long hahahaha

    15:37 training will let them learn how to dance as well as singing and rapping, that is why being a trainee to be a kpop artist is hard, taxing and cutthroat. They do not just teach them those 3, there is modeling, acting and language classes too (since it is a given that they will have Japanese releases as well, so Japanese is a common language class, chinese, English are also common)

  • @fionariesen1699

    Suprisingly Seventeen has one of the most fair line distribution in kpop, even in some songs where one member may have less lines, in others the have more. Yes I would reccomend dance practices as all the members are incredible dancers and Seventeen are known for being the kings of synchronization. Some songs I'd reccomend are left and right, cheers, world, clap, dont wanna cry, fuck my life, and fighting by the subunit BSS. To help learn their names you should watch their variety show "Going Seventeen" it is very funny and comes out weekly.

    and a big part of the line distribution is that the members themselves are directly involved, woozi is the leader of the vocal unit and also the member who has produced, composed and written the majority of their songs along with other members who have contributed to that, they’ve always shared their opinions and been given credit for it too and if anything svt have always said that they’re grateful for each other and that they love their jobs so it’s really just perfect for them🥹
