Michael seems to treat his son like a best mate instead of like his son. He doesn’t like to discipline his son because he’s afraid that his son won’t like him😢

at 50:01 onwards with Amelia. Amelia wanted to find a book to read in bed and then seeing that Harry and Joe were being read a story by their Dad. I don't actually see what the big deal was with her siting with the boys to hear the story as well and then have gone to bed afterwards. i feel that her parents interfering at that point created unnecessary drama. if she was willing to go to sleep with no fuss after story time out in the lounge it would've been fine.

Amelia is so spoiled to have her own way. She cries about everything.😭🤧
So what if Harry and Joe's dad want to read his sons a book. Amelia's mom or dad can read her a story book👍

Who would have dared saying "Shut Up!" to their parents?
Harry was a miserable child. It could possibly be his nature as some people are just like that and his family may do all the necessary work and adult Harry may still be bad tempered, although not to the point that it's a social issue. When this show was filmed the goal was control of Harry's temper and to teach him how to get along with other children and how to play nice with them.
All the children visiting the house with issues have never heard the word NO. It seems to be a direct link with problem behavior that health nurses that visit new moms should almost provide literature for new parents advising the time will come they will have to refuse their child's request for cookies or whatever and explain the child's possible reaction and how to deal with it. New parents would at least know to expect angry babies & toddlers in a few months time and that saying No is ok and turning their back and walking away and not pacifying the child because No was said and to warn parents to never give in or they will have whiny child instead of learning child. Parents obviously aren't being given support with this or there would not be so many children that cannot tolerate the N word.
When I raised my children it was different. We said No all the time and stuck to it so there weren't problems because children knew no meant no. It wasn't just my children. In the 80s & 90s when I was bringing up my family all parents had the same boundaries.
Tonight's show even ended with Natalie giving Amelia a couple warnings to stop her storytime tantrum then told her she blew storytime. Then Natalie told Amelia she would still get her story after that. And that's the problem.

That’s the point of the show. It’s the balance between catching kids being good, but also setting boundaries and saying no. Also how to deal with tantrums and realise that they are normal but if ignored, stop more quickly. I agree this should be available for all new parents and parenting toddler advice.

      Yes .
      Brats are raising brats now.
I see it all the time...
Go to a food court at a mall and watch the the people.
Everyone is looking at a phone, no one talking to each .
The kids just do what they want.
      Each generation will get worse.

Harry is not being told no. He needs a proper Jo Frost time out.

I'm sorry, but that child doesn't seem neurotypical to me. Some children need different treatment, what works for some children might not work for another. That little boy seems genuinely traumatized.

I keep thinking that, especially the headstrong little boy and the girl

I wonder if Harry's tantrums started or escalated when baby brother Toby came along.

He is just incredibly spoiled and strong willed. He thinks the world revolves around him, and that he controls everyone. My sister was just like him. He needs parents who are 100% consistent with discipline and expectations. They need to say the word NO, all day and night.

I think there is something going on with Jesse he doesn't seem like a two year old .I think they need to have him tested .but I seen that when he wants to try and get his way he starts scratching so they will feel sorry for him or let him have his way .but he does need to have a work over to find out if he had some problems

@@normaburress2327 He had just turned two in these videos, and this was filmed in 2005, so I wonder how he turned out. His speech was somewhat delayed, but again, he was really young. I really didn’t like the father. It was ridiculous for him to keep a child up so late just to accommodate his work schedule. Parents must adapt to the child’s schedule, not the other way around, and he needed his own room.
