    • @gabe687
      @gabe687 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mattysee24 Right and wrong is a human concept, and you don't need religion to have ethics. But even if you think right and wrong requires religion. Religions have different ideas of what is right or wrong, so that is subjective no matter what. If the AI is anything like us, it will come up with its own religions at some point, and I imagine probably discard them soon after, since it evolves so quickly. Hopefully it can evolve past the human level and find some reason to spare us. If it's anything like us, it will destroy us, because that's what we tend to do. Take, and dominate, even with religion and sometimes because of it.

      I don't hurt people because the thought of causing harm to another person upsets me, but if the only thing stopping you from murder is because a book said you shouldn't or because you'll go to hell and you won't like it there then I have clearly been right to fear people like you all my life!

    The thing is that I still do not believe the questions are random or made up by the interviewer. But that said, this robot is the number one in how a humanoid should look. The not too human look avoids the uncanny valley and we as humans accept the facial expressions more human because of exactly this. It is like when you watch a play in the theatre you can really feel the emotions and stay in the story but watching a movie played by bad actors pulls you out of it right away. The uncanny valley is what makes all the difference. This is what Amecia got perfectly right: Do not try something to be exactly it and then the human brain will accept (play along) of being exactly it.

    I’m really hope they just got the questions in advance and programmed them in to her. Otherwise, creepy that she has such intelligent responses. If she had the movements to match, it looks like things have got to stage where robots could be used in a care situation. e.g. keeping a altzheimer patient company.

      She has slow responses, and I think there is an underlying nervousness about robots like this who appear to be human or getting closer to mimicking humans because all humans know things progress and sooner than later they will be near perfect mimics of human beings. And that is uncharted territory.

    This will be hilarious in 50 years. We will view this (if still around) the same way we view 50s computers. Yes, I believe it will be atleast 50 years before we have AGI, probably much later than that. Especially fully articulated android frame paired with it. AGI will probably follow viable quantum computers. Speaking of which, quantum computers today will look comical in 50 years. I guess that is true for any technology but computing more so.
