I know there is, like any small engine. It’s just understanding that it’s not necessarily the horsepower that’s going to make it faster, but the gearing in the transmission. So all the snow has finally melted here in Alaska, and I left this thing out on the trailer uncovered all year long. I at least assumed the battery would be dead, now this is the battery they sent me. But sure enough, once I turn the key the engine turned over, and after a couple gas petal pushes, it started. I was pretty surprised by that, but I will say before I take it out again I will replace the battery. Don’t wanna get stranded 10 miles out in the middle of Alaska
well thanks for showing how to put it together. Tell your son he did a terrific job tightening up those nuts.! Is 34 mph the top speed? Is that fast enough to outrun a grizzly bear? LOL Just kidding. You never know. Anyway it is good to limit the top speed for your kids so that they do not get killed. Oh about your front wheel alignment it is real easy to do! Forget about the rear wheels at they are spaced apart different than the front so that you cannot use them. Get about a 5 foot straight stick and put it up against the outside of the tires with the long end touching the ground in front of the tires and mark the inside with a piece of chalk. Then put the stick touching the outside of the tire front and back part and the long end at the back touching the ground and mark the inside of where the stick touches the ground. Stick touches the front and back of the tire(theoretically you are supposed to use the rim) and the ground. So do the same to both sides. Now you should have 4 chalk marks on the ground measure the distance between the front 2 and measure the distance between the back 2. When distances are the same your tires are perfectly aligned. Theoretically you are supposed to put the tires slightly toe in with a rear wheel drive vehicle as when you push from behind it will push the tires apart if there is any play in the front end and with a front wheel drive when accelerating it pulls the wheels in so you are supposed to put it apart a little bit toe out. But since yours is new and there is no play I hope, just make it perfectly straight. You will get less tire wear that way. Good luck and thanks for sharing. Worst is to have it toe out a lot vehicle will pull left and right and all over the place. You did a great job carrying the go Cart onto the driveway. Wow. that was terrific! Bit absent minded when you reached way out and tried to lift it that way with one arm. What were you thinkg??? Guess you were not and paid the price. Hope your back is better now. |Best wishes for your continued happiness. Bummer that shipping to Alaska cost so much. Could they not ship it to you directly to Alaska????
Speed on the road was 40 miles an hour, about 35 miles an hour in the sand. They did not shipped directly to Alaska. I had to use a third-party shipment to get it from Seattle to Alaska
maybe i pass on the poor back left gate , rattle my brains out ! the other GKD 200 which has cargo front/back and 5th tire. Much cheaper also, seems the electric start and bigger wheels are $1200 extra. $1200 buys alot of mods onto $1400 200cc pull start W reverse and shutoff switch.
I’m also looking at getting bigger tires, and possibly modifying the engine so I can hit the jeep trails a little bit better, which is what I’ve been doing here in Alaska
God was punishing you for putting the front tires on backwards, L/R. Note the tread of the rear tires. LOL!! Sux,.. I know. Get an inversion Table from amazon and learn to hang from your ankles. It'll help dramatically. And a HEATING PAD!!
These are great little vehicles to putt around in ,but you cannot compare a ring made out of brass and compare it to a ring made out of gold, and that's why there's a big price difference.

Just an FYI... your front tires are on backwards lol
Good to know, I’m doing a maintenance overhaul next week before I take it out
Where can we get this go kart?

This is where I ordered mine
I’m 6ft, would I fit
No issues. Plenty of leg room
"Will it start? No. Yes."😂🤣
Don’t wanna get stranded 10 miles out in the middle of Alaska
price please
orvil ruff samuel it was on sale at the time for $1800, then 350 to ship
@@allthingsrandom8137 1800 fob and 350 to ship to USA so total 2150
you put front tires on backwards
Yeah, quickly changed them
@@allthingsrandom8137 i was scrolling through the comments and nobody said anything so ....i had to 😁 plus it drove me nuts i have ocd lol
well thanks for showing how to put it together.
I had to use a third-party shipment to get it from Seattle to Alaska
just curious how tall are you im thinking about getting one of these u just want to make sure i fit lol
I’m 5’10
maybe i pass on the poor back left gate , rattle my brains out !
the other GKD 200 which has cargo front/back and 5th tire.
Much cheaper also, seems the electric start and bigger wheels are $1200 extra.
$1200 buys alot of mods onto $1400 200cc pull start W reverse and shutoff switch.
what kind of gold sprocket and chain kit and Lifan motor could on buy with $1200 upgrades ?
Whats the top speed?
Oscar Barajas With my 200 pound body, and my 80 pound son combined, about 41 miles an hour on the street, and about 38 miles an hour off road on sand.
I have a Hammerhead Twister 250CC it weighs almost 800 pounds an I use a jack when I wanna do something with the tires
Mike valazquez my pride said “no Jack needed” 🤣
I'm about 200 pounds, even with my 12 year old daughter, we got ours up to 50 on street.
I made it so I can drive mine on the road to the store and back
Now all it needs is a 440 predator
I don’t disagree. I only wish it had a little more power and a little more speed
Thanks and not to be persnickety but your front wheels are each on the wrong side.
Oh I know, Everybody keeps pointing out my failures, LOL! Yeah, They have since been fixed
I’m also looking at getting bigger tires, and possibly modifying the engine so I can hit the jeep trails a little bit better, which is what I’ve been doing here in Alaska
@@allthingsrandom8137 🙂
This same rig is much more expensive.
So I got mine on sale.
Good video
Очень интересно но ничего не понятно
Add a CDI box and that thing its gonna fly
*DONGFANG*
Blown O ring
Who’s?
God was punishing you for putting the front tires on backwards, L/R. Note the tread of the rear tires. LOL!! Sux,.. I know. Get an inversion Table from amazon and learn to hang from your ankles. It'll help dramatically. And a HEATING PAD!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wish you was a little more helpful with the build
Yeah, sorry. I actually threw my back out twice, then had a hard time filming 😬
These are great little vehicles to putt around in ,but you cannot compare a ring made out of brass and compare it to a ring made out of gold, and that's why there's a big price difference.
