I can't stand the fake homeless man videos and fake dog and puppy videos on TH-cam. They are a plague. People actually donate to the fake rescues that are in a 3rd world country where they have thousands of strays and stage rescues all day collecting money from overly emotional old ladies and gullible manchildren.

The frame seems perfect. A great base for an Electric conversion. With all the problems with the drivetrain, it would lend its self to a modifying it to a Reverse Trike! Increasing the wheelbase and by moving the motor back will give you more room for the extra batteries.

I had one when I was young. So much fun! I rolled it over a few times but always managed to keep my arms inside but my dad rolled it over his arm. It crushed and killed a bunch of muscle. 35 years later you can still see the dent in his arm.

Wow thats so nostalgic for me. I used to run a Honda ATC 250R back in the day. I remeber seeing an article on the Oddessy in Dirt Wheels, and thinking to myself how cool it would be to race one of those. Then they just kind of dropped off the face of the earth. I never thought about it again until watching this video. I think it's really cool that you're rebooting a piece of history and bringing it into the modern age.

I had a Honda Odyssey dunebuggy as a child. I miss that thing. It did about 70 MPH and had a Centrifugal Clutch.

He decided to sell it as a frame because it was to much work to actually convert it, I think he spoke about it in either his ERide pro SS or S video when he was riding through the trails

My father had one... it was a pretty wild machine when it was running. And yes, you could easily roll it over.
Ive always wanted a Honda Pilot FL400. I used to ride my friends FL350 all the time, those things are a blast, about 65mph & fun as hell.

Want to see more of this! I've built a super budget drift kart using 4 18v chikita batteries to a 48v motor and an e scooter speed controller. It works good enough but we only get about 25 mins bat life. Following so I can catch the next vid

I have my own 350 Odyssey but mine has the original 2 stroke bored out with a bigger carb. With the auto clutch this thing will pull the wheels at will and the 2 stroke sound, you either love it or hate it (the neighbors hate it). Even though I have 2 e bikes, I'm not an e fan. I'd love to run yours offroad!
I would of kept the original motor in it and basically did what u did to yours. Glad I’m not the only person who would want the 350 instead. It’s still a cool build but I’m all about gas engines
A big issue with those was not always the product. People used to drive them in reverse then pop it in forward to make wheelie.

First they made the odyssey fl250 then the fl350 and after that the pilot fl400. And that was over multiple years. These were amazing machines and still are.
But this is a Pilot frame right? It looks more like one than the Odyssey's he showed in the beginning. I never did like the looks of those, but I love the crosskart look of the Pilot. I will build one someday with either a street bike engine, or a Raptor 660/700 engine so there's reverse.
Well they had the FL250, FL350 and the Honda pilot. The pilot is liquid cooled, 400cc 2 stroke and they were made from 89-90. They also had a big bore kit for it also. The pilot is the one you want, if you have a lot of money. That looks like it might be an aftermarket frame. Racing these was huge back then. That odyssey might of been worth a lot of money. Good thing you guys didn't hack it up.
Yooo I grew up on these! I had a blue one back in like early 2000s. We tried to flip em all the time. Super fun! Can’t wait to see where this build goes. Keep it OG and three wheeler ATV next? Hahaha

Literally exactly what I’ve wanted from an fl400. Minus the janky front geometry and with a 2 stroke
These were great during the 10 minute intervals that they ran.
What issues did it have ? I had the two of the first yellow models and then the red one with full rops and the larger two stroke engine. Loved them and I never had any issues.

oh glad you liked them offroad tyres as i have just got a pair and i was wondering what they would be like, i don,t do that extreme as what your doing in the video there mostly gravel track type of dirt great review and sick scooter the eagle 1 i have just got a 8 month old black and gold solar p1 2.0 and im waiting to take them nasty folding bar,s off it and get some wider ones but i am surprised that when i was doing 40 mph i didn,t get a speed wobble lol
There is a sprint club with these in North Carolina. They are decked out with wings and side panels. They rip on off-road oval sprint tracks. I'm surprised you found a decent one as they buy everyone that goes to market and have been for over 25 years.

Awesome, I'm doing the same thing but at 400V! Using a volt inverter and fiat 500e motor. 50hp min 100hp max going to be insane. Ur lucky u got a modified version, the stock suspension is not that great.
