Stop perpetuating that lying about African Americans think someone hates them. I am glad she checked you. You keep spreading that lie as if African Americans are unintelligent and uninformed. Stop trying to recruit my people to come to Ghana. Why don't you make a video asking the 240K ghanaians in America to come home? Recruit your own people before you recruit mine.

@@nkwakutoure ...What's wrong with you, man? Yes some African Americans believe that Africans hate them. WODE MAYA is not lying. I've lived in America before and I had many AAs tell me that. Secondly, no one is recruiting your people to come to Africa, as though they're not intelligent enough to make their own decisions. Blacks in diaspora are moving to Africa by their own volition. They decide by themselves to make the move. Sorry but you don't sound very bright. If you want to stay in America, that's your choice. But other AAs who choose to relocate to the continent are free to do so. Africans hate African Americans is even wrongly preached by your own comedians... HERE:

The lady is an African American foreigner yet claiming that her kids are Fante. African Americans are so confused about who they are. Stop running to foreigners religions, cultures, traditions and habits looking for yourself. This guy don't think that there are social challenges in America? WTF. Why do he think ghanaians are fleeing by the boat loads. Africa is the number one breeding ground for the slave trade.

    • @shebanayah1
      @shebanayah1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@Becky Britin Because Becky whether you know this or not & by the way thanks for bringing it up, I don't know how exactly it was able to spread like wildfire "alllllllllll" throughout the continent of Africa crossing over into countries like Japan Korea & other areas where negative depictions against the average typical Black families have developed for decades but there seems to have been a negative connotation depicted against Black Americans about the type of unique individuals that we are & really can be starting with our genetic make-up's there so much more to us than meets the eye, like for starters Black is not a RACE it's a color so that title by labeling one as a Black tells those inquiring about Black Americans very little about Black Americans, in fact many even newly entering America can resemble the color Black ( BLK or people/person of color is a description not a race) but it still tells very little about the individual & all American tells you is where they were born but then again so were all these other immigrants 🙄 because America's not exclusive to particular races again very little about the person has been told, leaving many go off of what Black Americans have been portrayed as through the eye's of the media & this to at times can be a very flawed assessment because the media often times offers nothing more than biased coverage take for instance the amount of single parented Black American households verses this same topic being had in comparison to oh let's African (actually born in Africa to the 3rd & 4th generations) household's or Islamic families that reside in let's say the UK & this would mean that father is actually living in the house with the family now if we ran those type of comparisons verses the Black American families how then would they really measure up, so from there it does nothing but continues to grow progressively worse it's from the skillit into the frying pan as we go from single parented families to divorce statistics educational statistics health statistics ect the point is that these type of assessments oftentimes offers nothing more then biased skewed results & unfortunately this is oftentimes how the majority of other races have formed their overall opinions about Black Americans, now the other portion comes from TV entertainers as many tend to feel that this is primarily how most of those successful among Black Americans have had to go out to acquire their fame fortune & loot however these images that have been exhibited by those that are usually being PAID to be portrayed in that type of a manner has often times tended to cast a stigmatized reflection upon American Blacks because these are the majority of the rolls that Black Americans were likely to be selected for because if the box office can't make their money back off of it plus turn a profit then to them what is the point, so with that being said this video & others like it that are depicting productive Black American families in this type of mannerism is showing itself as a taboo to all those critics out there who would ordinarily think 🤔 to ask their selves just what in the heck these ordinarily casual probably westernized processed fast food eating slick city dwellers know about how to grow harvest & cook anything that's health conscientious at all especially anything organic 🤣 because these are the stereotypes that are usually cast, they don't see that Black American families like the sustainable family really do exist but courtesy of these videos they actually do lend a helping hand in helping people see them as they go in a virtual reality type of a way & our people just seem to love visuals, in fact reminiscing a little bit, I myself did a little gardening some years ago before I moved from the states albeit not as large scale as the sustainable family & certainly not virtual but I didn't do to bad 😁 I had a tent size greenhouse & built in raised garden beds made out wood & the rest out of growth containers but even I didn't do organics because I couldn't afford to which is why I honestly don't think most people have a clue about how much a pack of heirlooms would cost you when your needing more then 20 packs, organic seeds are some of the MOST COSTLY that the market has to offer but the advantages are that their also the most nutritional anyway this is what makes it uniquely different & what makes IT FEEL SO GOOOOOOOOD TO SEE so kudos 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 to the sustainable family for doing their videos & shedding a different lite on health conscientious lifestyle choices from start to finish beginning from the ground leading into your pot & ultimately on the dinner table plus the fact that their a Black American vegan family is even better 😁 I myself am semi vegan though I haven't kicked chicken yet but it's a work in progress plus I've at least cut down to only about 3 or 4 times a month & these decisions turned my HEART ♥ DISEASE AROUND so these informational videos could add even more to my healthy choice eating habits I already gave their video 5 🌟 's & I hope it leaves you just as inspired 😁 Shalom

    • @mamalionness
      @mamalionness 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you 100%.
My Ghana people must change their begging mindset and wait to be given instead of expecting something when they have not earned it.
I know what I'm talking about. Bribery, corruption, looting, lies, deception, envy and you name it.
They need discipline from the grassroots to move on in life to make our nation great and trustworthy. Everybody wants to be seen as an important person 👤 without getting their hands 🙌.
The yam, cassava, sweet potato, peanuts, any crop gets to the ground before it is harvested.
Everybody wants to be seen pushing a pen ✒️, in ties in an office 📄. We are all not inclined that way academically.
We need all the skilled people 👭 out there to go and get themselves into the right ▶️ kind of job they are able to do rather than wanting to rub shoulders with those they have no business 👔 with.
Ghana 🇬🇭 has to go back and discipline the nation. They are all out of order following media and their wicked ways.
Wicked I mean the government and those in power don't do anything to help the people at all.
      It is so sad 😭.
There's chaos on the streets of Ghana 🇬🇭.
Everywhere is full of litter, dirt, slums, filth, containers for kiosks, no law and order in Ghana 🇬🇭, men urinating just about anywhere and everywhere. The list can go on and on.
Kids education 🏫 is suffering from the fact that they are not able to complete their education: in the middle of it, if their parents 👪 can't afford it, they are left to their own devices.
So sad 😩 in Ghana 🇬🇭 with the educational 🎒 system.
They have to go back to the old educational system how it used to be. Those who are academically inclined to go all the way to University and those who get to elementary form 4, then go to vocational school or learn a trade rather than this system which disappoints the young ones by shattering their dreams as failures who could not complete their education.
I saw a grown man on the streets of Ghana selling beads in traffic of Accra. What is in Heaven's name a whole grown man selling female waist beds-it's one thing that has never left me since my visit to Ghana 🇬🇭.
All the men look desperate and helpless.
Everyone is selling something in every corner of or in front of their houses, the roadsides etc.
I'm very sad and continue ⏩ to be until the country changes its mindset and attitude.
Ghana must change its ways in order for the country to move forward 🔼.
It's a great country but my people 👭 need to be brought to book. Starting from the school system with discipline, politicians doing the right 👉 thing by the people 👫.
Let's lift Ghana 🇬🇭 up to God to cleanse us up to continue ⏩ to live like righteous men and women.
      So help 🆘 us, God!
      Shalom.🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

Most of the farming in Africa is organic. As a matter of fact, Africa is the only continent in the world where organic farming is more prominent than "conventional farming".
The main challenge that I see (and I could be wrong) is european organizations genetically modifying seeds and introducing genetically modified varieties of existing food crops into the food supply and to the local small scale farmers who are none the wiser, under the pretense of nutritional fortification, without there being a robust system of verification and certification.

@@makehumanitygreatagain8128 I completely understood what you were saying, what I'm saying is, as an Urban Agriculture and Innovative Farming Specialist and Consultant on the ground here in West Africa, the main problem we have here is poor infrastructure, logistics and to add preservation of food. So much food goes to waste, and I mean tons, because the roads are bad coming from the interior of the countries where most farming happens, or trucks breaking down carrying the produce, or produce getting to market and spoiling before it can make it to the consumers. While Monsanto is a very real concern, right now it's not the main concern. Water is another issue. Believe it or not, most African countries import about 80% of its produce, if not more, and farming for the population is still a relatively untapped market on this continent. We definitely need more young and innovative farmers to enter into the industry as the farmers now are getting old and we need replacements. Peace and Blessings as we fight to save our continent and ultimately our Earth.

The challenge Make Humanity Great Again is that Africa is still heavy importers & why not when between Ghana & Nigeria alone they both are vying to be major tourism hubs so these type of places should offer what the developed countries do & that's VARIETY in food choices & order that Ghana gets the better purchase rate which I am sure is far cry from what they get now why not let it start with the promotion of home grown variety such as what the sustainable growth family is trying to initiate you can't get it like they can because they know what to get because their upbringing stems from there so they want to produce the variety in an uncontaminated soil type of a way (non gmo) you see right now Africa doesn't really seem to prevent various seeds from being brought in I mean heck it's not aa if their doing seed checks even I brought some in though I had to get rid of them but theirs are organic off the bat plus it offers that variety take for instance strawberries that I just love well from what I've seen there here now however are they organic or gmo & this is that variety that they can inevitably offer especially to the market eating a piece of the West at a bargain price 😁

In the 50's to 70's it seemed like we all got alone great. However, the last 3 generations of black immigrants made it known to us that they didn't want to be together as one black group. They were quick to pull out their country flag and if you ask them if they are black they immediately responded by saying I'm Nigerian, Jamaican, or what country they were from. You seem like a good person and young with great intentions. I once was like you but I know many Africans don't like black Americans and vice versa.

You might want to do drip irrigation. Watering the plants using a garden hose like that is not very effective. Moreover, it saves on labour.

Type "Kenyan drip irrigation farming" in a TH-cam search box to learn more.

For some of us already caught up in a Tropical Zone similar to some areas in Africa the challenge is tough. However, the comradeship of the people in Africa does make great difference from the views expressed.

Great interview. The reasons for Diasporians moving to Africa from usa are the same. They are fleeing white rage which has and is still oppressing black Americans and their descendants. Ghana offers freedom and opportunity. God bless you all.
