I saw how American houses are made. Yeah, it's kinda understandable they often collapse but nobody can get rid of floods. Not even Japanese and German engineering can prevent it.

stone can move from floods too, europoor's are lucky they have the easy mode of climate issues on the planet.

Yeah it's not really an issue of how they're built it's more so that there's not much you can do against flood damage
