I understand you girl. I moved to Europe in 2019 and i went back to Kenya after two years (2021) because my mental health was bad. I stayed back home in Kenya for two years, healed from depression, and figured out my life. Only after I felt that I was in a good state of mind and ready to live abroad, that I came back and now thriving in Germany. Take your time to heal, to figure out life, and to prioritise yourself. Also, try get therapy, if possible, since it is affordable in Kenya (compared to UK). I'm happy to see you joyful and doing well.
@@LK-pl4fj I just renewed my student visa again, because I was already enrolled in the same programme earlier on. A student visa is one of the most sure ways to move to a country, including Germany. But, you would need a blocked account, or a letter from someone who is a resident in Germany and earns above the set threshold, to sponsor your visa.
@@LK-pl4fj If you completed your studies, the best way to get back would be to apply for a job, since you have education from here, you can possibly get a job especially if you still speak German. Or just apply to another programme. My case was different as I explained, I was still enrolled as a student.
Life is just funny,the same way Tess was feeling when she was in the uk is the same way I was feeling when I was in kenya. Some families are just toxic in a way that you just want to move away from your own people. I mean being out of your country is not the best thing but sometimes you just have to distance yourself from your toxic family. If you have a family that loves you and actually supports you be it your parents or siblings or any other family members,be grateful for that.It hurts when your own people are the ones making you lack peace in life so for me, I think it was the best decision I made.
