I enjoy when abled people are surprised that I can go faster than them in my wheelchair or on my crutches (I do the "power walking" thing you showed because I'm still trying to find my own balance with having one working leg). It's funny to have to slow down so they can keep up!

I think people assume you've broken your leg or something, because people often associate crutches with temporary injuries. And they'll probably get confused when you tell them that this is just your normal, and crutches are used by a lot of people for different reasons.

Thanks for this video. I’m a ballet dancer dealing with a new disability and trying to find a different approach to dancing. Appreciate your breakdown of limiting beliefs 🙏🏻

I'm a disabled runner running with crutches. Tired of being asked how I can call myself a runner. THANK YOU.

This was super helpful✨ I'm excited to try this. The way I run RN sort of strains my shoulders.

Hi Oliver! Just to let you know, today I have posted to a link, to Oliver Lam-Watson's TH-cam Channel. I was saying at a virtual Tea and Chat session this afternoon about the recent increase of people with disabilities, sharing their experiences and work on TH-cam.
Not yet watched this video yet, but i've liked it anyway. :D

What about the extra strain put on your knee, shoulders and neck. Do you ever have issues or might get chronic issues.

I know this is an old video, however, can you show how to go down concrete steps than are a foot 12" in height?

It makes me laugh that people question it like you shouldn't be able to do it. Dude, you run way faster and better than me! I'm genuinely shocking, like I could collapse after 100m.

"Sorry, my brain is not really working since I've been running" - Health experts warn: running can lead to a lack of oxygen in the brain and might be hazardous to your health. :-P
