@@hectorherbert6585 My friend, my 130hp diesel saloon has bigger brakes than this car stock, talking about the T5, that comes stock with 240hp, almost double my cars.
I've shat my pants previously on it when similar stuff happened as you see on this video while driving at 160 km/h. I don't even want to imagine how I would handle it at these speeds. I don't trust my car at high speeds and I wouldn't trust the C70 either.
I've also driven more powerful and recent cars and have done emergency braking on them, never lost control.
This car may even have shit tires but also has shit small brakes. What might have cause it was the lines in the road and the dude was merging to the outside lane, making the car activate the ABS as you seen on the video. But taking into account the size of the brakes, imagine how long it takes to stop it at these speeds and the sponginess afterwards, you'd have no brakes basically.
And don't compare a bike to a car.
It's really not stable at high speed, I drove one for more than 10 years, many times at speeds like in the video but it's very scary. The suspension on this C/V/S70 was still from the 850 and so were the tiny brakes but now with a standard 240hp engine in the T5. The engine was too powerful for the platform really and if you tune that engine it becomes a very scary (but FUN) machine, great for buttclenching high speed runs
@@danisantos3255If you brake hard from 260km/h in a C70 with standard brakes then by the time that your car is doing 120km/h you have almost no braking power left due to fade. They were way too small from the factory

It's not a rare situation for us on the Autobahn that some (Women and the elderly) Change lanes without looking in the rearview mirror We learn to deal with such situations right from the start. In Germany, you don't eat and drink in your car, you drive and are always 100% concentrated at high speeds!

The guy in the VW checked his left mirror but not the rear one, VW fault cearly but you were too cocky staying in the middle lane. Plus you didn't signal ! That's very amateuristic

There was no point in driving in the middle lane at 260 no one was behind him and not signaling when going overtaking the vw. Common sense.
@@benzo5799 and what do you think the reason behind this rule is? To allow an efficient traffic flow by using all space on the highway. Now why would someone driving 250 km/h not drive on the left lane? If someone is faster approaching behind you .... so keep an eye out in your mirror even at that speed. Many people understand rules but not all know the interpretation during different situations.
@@maxmaxi4636 nah. Keep right at all time. Problem was the douchy lack of signaling and slow lane change. Not easy to spot from a distance.
When I am driving in germany +200 I am always staying in the left line. There is no point in chainging it and I have overtaken dozens of marked and unmarked police cars who didn‘t give a fuck about that because it is safer to do so.
