- I managed to catch an awesome pair of BNSF locomotives in Richmond! The leading locomotive is in the HN2 scheme and the trailing locomotive is in the classic HN1 scheme! It’s nice to see these older paint schemes still rolling around out there!
I also caught a second train that was waiting on the stack train to pass through. The engineer gave me a couple friendly toots when I waved to them. A nice day in Richmond as usual!

AWESOME Catches in Richmond Indiana. Is it usually busy there?
It definitely can be. I’ve caught three trains in less than an hour there on several occasions. An even busier spot further down the line is Hamilton, Ohio. They have 4-5 trains an hour a lot of the time down there!
