Red Hot Chili Peppers Yertle Trilogy Rare B-Side Bonus Track 1999 Around The World single Californicaion HD High Definition HQ Quality 1080p Anthony Kiedis Flea John Frusciante Chad Smith
Yertle Triology is a live mix they did before, contained Yertle the Turtle, Freaky Styley, Cosmic Slop and a few John/Funkadelic songs.. gives us about 12 minutes of amazing music
that groovy drum line is the best thing ever
Very nice and groovy and smooth yet rough its great
Anthony's reference to Pearl Jam's Dirty Frank at 3:41 is awesome.
What does he say? I don't get a word
In Dirty Frank there're words at one point: "Why that dirty Frank was a bad mother... Shut your mouth! Hey man, I'm just talking about dirty Frank." Anthony just changes the last part, so it's "I'm just talking about yertle".
Actually that line was from the theme song of the movie "Shaft" (1971). It was written by Isaac Hayes originally.
Dirty Frank is a great song though, as well as yertle, yertle the turtle
I was about to comment this. Great reference and then the same song after (forgot the name)
Yertle the turtle is from 85, pearl jams song is from 91, A.K. clearly didnt reference Pearl Jam,A.K. did this in many live shows before this in 99
Yes it is, Yertle Trilogy is a b-side for the Around the World Single (hence why the image shown for 7 mins is).
And because these songs are both off of Freaky Styley doesn't mean anything towards it being essentially released.
It was live at Milan '99 Sashimi Studios and was putted at Ultra Rare Traxx record '01.
Wow the memories... this is most excellent! Hadn't run across this recording.. It reminds me a bit of when I saw them play in front a scant few hundred people in Chicago... 1985, Cubby Bear Lounge. That line always cracked me up..."I fuck 'em.... just to see the look on their face..... I fuck 'me just to see the look on their face". This version has one of the most RIPPING-EST guitar solos by John. so good as to be distracting!
1:24
I said exactly that.
SHIT
Ulala
Awesome drumsound. Great quality overall in my opinion! love for the peppers!
Chad truly has one of the best drum sounds, _ever!_ Everyone acknowledges that Frusciante & Flea are absolute masters of their craft... but Chad is every bit the _BEAST_ on his instrument as they are!
@@Jimmy1982Playlists haha you replied to a 10 year old comment. I fully agree. I've just about dedicated my TH-cam channel to Chad's work with the Chili Peppers.
I lovethe length of it
that's what she said
Woooooooooooooooooooooot ~!!! listen to it
I also has Freaky Styley, Cosmic Slop, and a couple John Frusciante originals. Not in this version though. It has it on this version. /watch?v=_N0QDxfimKE&feature=related
It begins with Yertle the Turtle and then it's Freaky Styley
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCKING AMAZING
Fuck yeah!
wGooooo
This is John Frusciante
no shit
isn't this song called Yertle the Turtle?? fucking awesome performance by the way XD
duh
WHERE THE FUCK IS COSMIC SLOP!!!
WHY THAT TURTLE WAS A BAD MOTHER SHUT YOUR MOUTH HEY I'M ONLY TALKIN BOUT YERTLE.
i miss hillel
I know that feel bro :'
Does anybody hear a little bit of Me and My Friends?
Argentina ?
il volume non è mai troppo alto
Mais que demande le peuple de plus ?? ;)
4:14 Doesn't it sound like the starting of Look Around?
that sucks, no cosmic slop.
like your mum then 😂
@@Vespa123 uhhh... What now?? I'm a little confused as to WTF you mean by that... My "mum" also does not cover "Cosmic Slop" by Parliament due to copyright issues, too... ???
I think you may have misunderstood my comment. "Cosmic Slop" by Parliament is usually part 3 of the "Yertle trilogy" when they jam this live. The Yertle trilogy consists of...
1.Yertle the Turtle (by RHCP)
2. Freaky Stylee (by RHCP)
3. Cosmic Slop (by Parliament/Funkadelic/George Clinton)
I meant that it sucks that they didn't do the Cosmic Slop cover on this track for obvious reasons (they didn't write it, copyrights, royalties, all those legal issues) and it sucks because the Cosmic Slop cover is the best part of the Yertle Trilogy.
Check out the NOZEMS A-GOGO live performance of the young Chilis Yertle Trilogy!!! YOUNG PEPPERS IN THEIR FREAKIN PRIME!!!

Ya not a jam by the way just 2 old songs they played live again
This is way different of Yertle the Turtle, it has different lyrics and sound... so they're not both of Freaky Styley.
