The title is the opposite to what they say, the best finals moments they have seen, which is fair enough. The greatest of history would be a slap in the face to history. For this, post 2000 list I'd add Jetta's run from Rioli, and Nick Davis last goal in the Prelim.

Winning quarters doesn't mean anything. You might be thinking of tennis where they have 'sets' and the winner of the most sets wins the match. In football when a team is trailing all day after being jumped by 5 goals at the start then slowly claws their way back over the rest of the match to pinch it at the end, that's stealing it Russello. Clearly a blocking free kick to Maynard though.

Have a look at the pack funny guy, Judd is in prime position to take what for him would be a highly unusual huge pack mark. Normally he would be roving not flying with 5 or 6 other guys but cometh the hour cometh the man, he took the opportunity to win that grand final himself in that moment. Considering Barry coming from the side took it right out of his hands and there was about 4 seconds left, the siren would've gone while he was walking back for the kick and being Chris Judd he would've slotted it. I'm not an Eagles fan but I am a Chris Judd fan and he was the best player I've seen since Gary Ablett snr, until Dustin Martin came along. I'm just pointing out how incredible that would've been, the classic post siren kick to win the match, in the grand final by the best player. I think someone nailed a goal for the draw in 1977 but it wasn't after the siren and it wasn't the premier player in the league.

Out of all these so called 'experts' they only go back to 2001. Were there no more inspirational moments than these last century?? Fowler's hit on Big Nic in '73? Manassa's run late in the '77 replay? Ted Hopkins in '70? Harmes in '79? Brereton rising from the canvas in '89? Obviously geared towards Millenials.
