If you ask me, the game and its soundtrack are equally impressive and unorthodox. They are quite literally made for each other. Seeing more "experimental projects" of this kind would be a pleasure.
I will never forget how impressed I was, when I just came back from this wicked dark temple to my faithful dog waiting outside, it started to rain, and so we had to run back home through this amazing pixel-art forest with this in the background 07:51 It was breathtaking. I couldn't believe a video game (and android one for that matter!) could be this beautiful.
I've played a demo of this game a very long time ago, when I was nine or maybe even younger, and the soundtrack just stuck with me. Replayed and finally finished it when I was around 15 or 16. This soundtrack has forever been with me since, and whenever I go hiking, I can't help but relisten the album. I guess you could say that this image of exploring a beautiful pixelart forest was forever associated with this music, and when the game became reality, the soundtrack remained. Seriously one of the best games I've played
2021... this soundtrack still comes back to me now and then even though I haven't played the game since back when it was released. The music is just so da*n vivid. Exciting. Cozy. Weird. Scary. Lovely. Haunting... so much feelings.
Yup when the boss music begins, u should do a hard question, it feels like time is about to run out and the pressure makes u work faster. Or makes u crumble.
At 32:56, the Whirling Infinite starts. Funny thing is that the first time I heard, it I was walking around inside a headshop/tobacco shop and this was playing. Ever since, I mysteriously hear it during random parts of my life.
A game I didn't know I had until I played it. I'm very angry at myself that I didn't play it sooner. GREAT game. GREAT music. Helped me through some difficult times. Thank you Jim Guthrie!
Probably one of my favorite app games ever, and something I wish would have a sequel; one that would allow the player more freedom to explore more of the beautiful but amusing world and with even more interesting puzzles/musical scores. 10/10 would ALWAYS play again.
2025: This is still fucking awesome. I just burst into tears, hearing "And we got older". I just lost a childhood friend to leukemia, last week. He was 51.
The most beautiful game I have ever played on mobile. It's one of those games I had to put down for a while because I got a bit confused, but now that I have beaten it, I can't stop thinking about it. Good job Capy and Jim Guthrie!
Little furnace in the one I remember the best and probably my favorite I was probably like 7-8 at the time listening to this in my dad’s old mini van with the red popsicle stain.
I can't stop listening to this soundtrack. It's breathtakingly brilliant -- probably my new favorite. The bonus tracks alone are much better than most OSTs.
This is such an impressive game, i'm totally blown away. It's inspiring to see stuff like this exists!! Playing this made me really happy, i'm half way trough the game now - don't want it to end.
I bought the game a long time ago, but for some reason I never [played] it. Today, I stumbled upon its in-game music which drew me to actually play the game. And it is amazing.
Amazing soundtrack and even gameplay..... I will never forget my encounter with the triangle.... the music was making it feel epic and had me in a state of intensity just waiting for it.
Yeah, this game absolutely kick some serious asses... i am amazed that with the simplicity of the game, but somehow he just put you in that beautiful world you don't wanna live... i love every character in the game, enjoied every second of it. and the first time you rock with gutrie... simply otherworldy
i swear this game has one of the most epic soundtracks i've ever heard in my life!! we get to play this in class as part of our video games module and i'm defo looking forward to it! if its good may buy it! :D
This game came out so long ago, but I still love the hell out of it. It was such an inventive game for mobile, almost ahead of its time. The music? Still totally great.
I can't hear Under a Tree now without crying. Sweet heavenly space babies, this was such a beautiful, fun, scary, confusing, hilarious, frustrating, sad, and joyous game.
2017: This is fucking awesome
2018: This is fucking awesome
2099: This is fucking awesome
If you ask me, the game and its soundtrack are equally impressive and unorthodox. They are quite literally made for each other. Seeing more "experimental projects" of this kind would be a pleasure.

The soundtrack has more replay value than the game. I love the game, but this is true.
At 32:56, the Whirling Infinite starts. Funny thing is that the first time I heard, it I was walking around inside a headshop/tobacco shop and this was playing. Ever since, I mysteriously hear it during random parts of my life.

Still the best soundtrack anyone has ever done for anything. I love every second dearly and hope that this'll survive the ages.
This is still the epitome of retro pixel art games that turned up in 2010 and the following years
Lone Star is absolutely fantastic. This game is so unique. And the writing is great/hilarious.
This game was amazing and spiritual. I'm so lucky to be one of the ones who's played this masterpiece of a game with music unlike any other.

"Dark Flute" and "Lone Star" are absolute bangers)
Lone star is basically the main theme of the game, it just hits different. More so than the other songs, even.
I absolutely adored this game. This soundtrack brings back the memories ah.
Little Furnace is Brilliant! Love the delayed pluck synth and the gliding lead that follows.
Splendid and motivating music. The first song is considerably powerful.
The most beautiful game I have ever played on mobile. It's one of those games I had to put down for a while because I got a bit confused, but now that I have beaten it, I can't stop thinking about it. Good job Capy and Jim Guthrie!
