Veruca Salt live @ MuchMusic Toronto Canada 0:00 Don't Make Me Prove It 3:04 Interview with Bill Welychka 6:00 Benjamin 10:30 Interview with Bill Welychka
Oh my god, did the press and the masses treat them like shit. Veruca Salt is an entity unto themselves. They deserve every good thing they get. Thank god they got back together. They are such awesome musicians first, astoundingly beautiful and so cool personalities only add to the fire. No wonder no one could handle or understand them.
Personally eight arms to hold you may've been thier breakout hit album but american thighs to me is top tier performance like it's my favorite VS project ever!
It's cause the industry has drastically changed alot since the 90s and the standards of making music such as this isn't really a priority and they tend to ruin what made any band special one making em sound pop to be more appealing to the masses I which ruins it
Stop focusing on whether or not female musicians are attractive. You don't do that with male musicians. It's their music which is important, not how they look.
That guy fucking sucked! Much and much more music kept him for a quite a long time though, I think he got better? Couldn’t really get much worse than that!!!!
Unfortunately, Nina was losing it, eating up the fawning behavior. In fact, I wonder if her growing ego, pulling in most of the fanboy libido, and camera attention (media's eye) , was a major element in the disaffection between her and Louise, leading to the break up. I think she never had a deep sense of security and confidence in her value. I heard an interview with her after the break up, and she said it was time to flesh-out her ideas fully. She mentioned being excited about the freedom. We all have the need to explore [our deep selves] and establish and express our fuller identities. It's too bad their friendship and collaboration suffered for it. I hope they will continue working together, now that they've mended the friendship. I really liked the last album.
Veruca salt makes great music, gender has nothing to do with there success really. They make good music and happen to be female big deal, as a woman it’s really nice to see two women playing music together
The 1990's. Great decade of music!

Why talk about their looks? Oh, right. Just like the masses and the press.
Wow. The power of the band and their 2 voices are amazing.
This album was enormous for me back in the day. God damn. I’m in love with them.
Very strong album. I'm a total metal-head and I own two copies.
Totally badass. I’ve been a megafan since 1994 and finding this is like finding a wad of cash on the street.so killer

Louise just posted this on their FB page and that's what brought me here. Thanks for uploading this! 😊
LOL same
Somehow this passed by me without knowing. Finding any high quality footage with interviews is always amazing. So killer to see this.
Music is music. If it's good it's good and they're good...great!!!
Incredible! Why is Much Music not still like this!
Everything cool had its peak in the 90s

@@wolfgang6442La pregunta es porque ahora a la gente o a las masas no les atrae las bandas de rock?
Love it so much, thanks!

Just now seeing this video in 2022. So cool…..
Feels as I'm traveling back in time to the peak of thier success🤘🏻😆🎸
Rock and Roll CANADA \m/
It's almost impossible to pull a "5 best" from an entire 10 year span... but 8athy is among the best albums of the 90's, without batting an eye.
Nina and Louise are my favorite
Classic VS
Yes indeed ngl thier music sounds far better to this day like I could never get tired of listening to them

Human beings have judged each other on appearance since the dawn of time. And yes, male musicians get that treatment as well, which is normal.
Thank you
Omg you're so woke, omg seriously can I be as politically correct and enwokend as you someday, if I'm worthy.
People do that with male musicians all the time
@@lewskaanen812 Helpful hint: grownups don't use terms like "woke" and "sjw." It just makes you sound like a media-manipulated tool
He's a terrible interviewer! By God! It's embarrassing! But I LOVE this band so much!
totally. also asked Dave once if he missed Kurt... 😖
That guy fucking sucked! Much and much more music kept him for a quite a long time though, I think he got better? Couldn’t really get much worse than that!!!!
Cringey!!
I just wished they would go johnny rotten on him.

I really liked the last album.
Benjamin should have been a huge hit. Is that when Geffen turned on them?
Fuckin awesome, Don't Make Me Prove It just as good as the album version if not better. They shouldn't have played Benjamin, it's sucha blah song
I guess it was to balance out the ROCK. I would like to have heard Straight or David Bowie
Who was the interviewer?
Kind of a creepy dope.
HubertJass ikr?
Bill Welychka
Lol aren't they always though
That is a super awkward interview between songs.
I really didn't like paul. I really wished one of the more popular Vjs had done the interview. Watching now in 21 good on ya paul good job. thank you.
If a guys only band sounded like this they would never make it out of the basement
I'm dead😭💀

What u waffling about bruv?
@@platonicriottook the words out my mouth
What an awkward interview I think
What a very awkward interview. The interviewer is very cringy
I guess Benjamin was a filler for the album. Song sucks! lol
They didn't take time to totally master their instruments/ they had to get their Angst out there !!!###
Louise Is veruca salt ..Nina is a side harmony, just saying
You're kidding me, right?
