Looks impressive but it's the worst way to apply nitrogen. Plus you can see in the video alot is not going in the ground. Anhydrous packs the ground and kills worms which help ariate the soil

I’m a custom applicator of anhydrous and I wouldn’t have any customers if I leaked as bad as this guy.

Hi, I am a big fan of the channel from overseas. I watch all these high tech equipment with fascination and amazement. It always looks like sci fi to me. I have some questions. How does this injection of gaseous ammonia supposed to work? Doesn't it escape when the harrow tills the field? Does this supply all the needed N to corn or there will be more applications of N at later stages? How are P and K etc. applied? Thanks for the videos again.

agree it would be great to see how the planters perform in different tillage operations close up

Several of the closing wheels are not turning or appear to be almost locked up on the anhydrous applicator and not helping to seal the knife.

Great video! I’m from southeast Georgia I was wondering what land leases for there per acre? Ours goes for around 70$ none irrigated and 100$ for irrigated . But I don’t see many pivots on your video’s. Thanks for sharing!

Great Video. As a non farmer I liked the way you explained how the ground needs to be warmed up and why in needs to be smooth etc for good seed germination.
I play Farming Simulator 17 and it is nice to know why the different machines are used and what they specifically do.
In Manitoba we have lots of grain and farming but you never learn the fine details of how it all goes together as Joe Citizen.

    • @bigtractorpower

They typically run right over it. The NH3 is going in 6 inches and the chain disk is going down at 1.5 inches.
