Thank you so much for this video. Nobody ever told me about clicking the bottom blade in place! The bloody thing zero gapped itself once I did that little trick!!! Thank you sir!
Hey. I just got the Andis Fade Master, and after turning the power screw to stop that loud buzzing sound, the blades are not in a straight line, just like in 06:08. Is that normal?
Nice video! Would a Andis Master fully closed and stock, be able to fade out the line from an Andis T-Outliner that's stock? Or is it absolutely necessary to have the Master zero-gapped to achieve a bald fade with the Master/T-Outliner combo? Thanks!
Great question. But unfortunately it is impossible to fade the line of t-outliner with a stock andis master, it just doesn't cut close enough. You'd have to feather cut (use the corner of the blade) with the t-outliners skillfully to get the line out if you don't wanna zero gap your masters. And that's a difficult task.
What a great video!!! your pace of explaining and how you manage to refocus so we can see exactly what you were doing is amazing, haven't watch something like this in a looong time! thanks, now I can f...k mine up lol well hopefully I do it as well as you did.
My lever doesn’t go to the last line, my old masters did however my new ones don’t… and they won’t go to a 000 they go one step above, what is up with this any way to fix ?
I'm having a hard time get the bottom bald fade line out. Will zero gapping masters help me get it out? And since they are zero gapped will a 1 guard closed cut hair shorter than before?
Years ago b4 I knew how to zero gap,I popped off the lil' nib that actually pushes the blade up,out of frustration.😢 Ignorantly thinking smthg was wrong with them.Since then I've bought many other clippers, but none quite like these.I tried crazy glue/gorilla glue,- nothing.I thought about drilling a tiny hole wherebthe nib was(lost it) & putting apiece of wire, plastic, toothpic in it's place!😂 - Is there a way to fix these without sending them back to the manufacturer? This happened almost 20 yrs ago,but they're still in great condition because I barely got the chance to use them! Thanks in advance.
I just got my masters and the little Handel too open and close the guard it’s a little hard too open and close how do I make it smother too open and close I oiled it and it still a little hard too open and close the guard
No wonder I couldn’t fade out lines i use trimmers for bald fades I had to use the Wahl razor edge with the 1/2 guard to fade out line is there any 1/2 guards for andis masters? I’m new to this barber game
Yo yo..what up Kev! Fellow barber here, got a question for you: Yo, lately my Andis Master be getting mad hot really quick. You think it's time for new clippers?
that was great to see. You have to know how your tools work. I'm just getting into barbering and this is fundamental to becoming a master barber. cheers Boss..... keep the the great videos coming!!
Yes, but know that when your lever is closed it might rattle against the guard and make a noise, possibly shaving your guard. Just open the blade a millimeter when using guards.
10x better then some other video I just saw.. but instead of the guy pushing that little pice that moves the cutting blade up he moved it down then tightened it.. but I'm using this vid for a reference that other dude was doin to much other shit.. lol .. good vid
Aye, my lever on my masters is so loose! Like I’ve tightened the bolts to make it tighter and when I turn it on the lever is just like so loose it won’t stay at the notches where I put it. Any advice?
Thebarberstable it’s only when I turn the clipper on, it will stay at the first and last notch but the two middle notches it will go down it won’t stay so I don’t know if there’s a trick to fix it or if I should send it back?
After 0 gapping does anyone elses clippers make a loud sound when the guards are on and all the way closed? If so how do you fix that? By clipping the guards?
great video bro i managed to zero gap my masters after a couple tries :). one thing though, i heard that when you zero gap the masters, it chews on the purple magnetic guards... how'd you manage to get around this?
I want to do mine so bad, but Im hesitant because the last masters I had I messed up & the 1s I have now are collectors & I would hate to ruin those. Too bad Andis just wont zero gap the shit themselves
MCFriedChicken1 started playing around with the housing & must have not assembled them back correctly. Never could find what I did exactly to them, just know they never worked again. Fortunately, I just tried zero gapping my 90th edition 1s & didnt mess anything up (I think) ha
What's good Chris?? And I literally tried that yesterday. I just never liked the angle, smh. But I'll def get that up here. Thanks for the suggestion bro!
Thank you so much for this video. Nobody ever told me about clicking the bottom blade in place! The bloody thing zero gapped itself once I did that little trick!!! Thank you sir!
Glad I can help bro!
Am I missing something? Because my bottom blade doesn't snap onto the prongs like yours

Where Can I buy the "ORIGINAL" replacement blades for the Andis Master ML?
My brand new Andis Master would not cut hair but PULLED it out. I tried adjusting the clipper blades, etc. No luck. Sent it back.
this is great info, better then the paper instructions you receive when buying this clipper, thank you so much

How do you adjust the lever

I really appreciate that man. Comments affirming my explanation or hard work in general tend to inspire me. Hopefully you fixed them masters!

Name of the screw driver you used and the name and sizes of the screws?
I think they use those torx screws cause they tend to strip less for reg maintenance...maybe

would changing the cutting blade to ceramic cutter make a difference, if the blade is a little longer then the one it Comes with?
Hi there, I have new Andis machine but when I opened and the cutting blade is not moving, what should I do now can you help please
No wonder I couldn’t fade out lines i use trimmers for bald fades I had to use the Wahl razor edge with the 1/2 guard to fade out line is there any 1/2 guards for andis masters? I’m new to this barber game
What kinda screws did you use for the andis masters mine are stripped
search "andis master blade screws" on google and you can purchase a set from a barber supply website.
Merci beaucoup l'Ami !
Yo bro I know this random but what song or instrumental that was playing in and out the video? 😂 it’s fire 🔥
dude where we can buy that screwdriver
Is it normal after zero gapping them the double magnetic guards make a loud noise when the lever is closed?
MooN MaN no it means your cutting through you guards that's why I had to change mines back to factory settings
Hey brother! I was wondering if this was the fade blade or taper blade, and if you've tried both.
This is the taper blade, and yea i have both.
Real talk, I can't wait to become a master barber man.
Can you use a clipper guard when zero gaped?
Yes, but know that when your lever is closed it might rattle against the guard and make a noise, possibly shaving your guard. Just open the blade a millimeter when using guards.
thanks
Where u get that screw driver kit? What the name of that kit?
Came to the comments to get an answer too. I need it!!!

Lol
My blade snaps on but still wiggles and moves, what could this be?
Sounds like a beast
setting the blade this close, does it cut 0000? or only 000?
Poppi3579 000
Aye, my lever on my masters is so loose! Like I’ve tightened the bolts to make it tighter and when I turn it on the lever is just like so loose it won’t stay at the notches where I put it. Any advice?
Hmm, that's strange. And by "bolts" you mean the four screws under the blade right?
Thebarberstable yes the four screws.
Thebarberstable it’s only when I turn the clipper on, it will stay at the first and last notch but the two middle notches it will go down it won’t stay so I don’t know if there’s a trick to fix it or if I should send it back?
I honestly haven't ever come across that problem. So I'm not sure, I'd love to take a look.
Thebarberstable if you have like a Snapchat or something that I can send you a video. I’d appreciate it.
After 0 gapping does anyone elses clippers make a loud sound when the guards are on and all the way closed? If so how do you fix that? By clipping the guards?
Yea that's gonna happen. The guards aren't made with zero gapping in mind. So it's gonna chew at the guards for a few uses and then it stops.
Tried zero gapping mine today and the blade is now crooked watched sm videos too👎🏾ima try to return them
does it still get pretty bald with that curved blade?
Depends on what you think pretty bald is. It's harder to take a line out with the curved(taper) blade opposed to the fade blade.
great video bro i managed to zero gap my masters after a couple tries :). one thing though, i heard that when you zero gap the masters, it chews on the purple magnetic guards... how'd you manage to get around this?
You don't. lol. You just allow it to chew it eventually stops. That's one of the consequences to 0 gapping. Thanks for watching bro!
Thebarberstable thanks bro i love watching ur videos, i cut my own hair and I've been learning a lot from you
Did this and now my clippers are extremely loud..
GOOD LOOKING FAM...MUCH APPRECIATED💯💯💯💯💯
absolutely bro! thanks for watching!
What size is the star bit?
I really couldn't tell you bro. But this is the screwdriver I use: toolguyd.com/milwaukee-compact-ratcheting-screwdriver-review/
having hard getting bottom blade to clip back on
Yea bro it's tough, you just gotta keep at that thing.
Did you ever get it?
thanks nice done
Just got bck from buying me them andis masters, im fenah zero gap them thx for d info
Bet! Hope it works out for you bro.
I Tried zero gapping my masters and now the Blade is crooked and they wont turn on😪FML
They don't make a sound at all?
Lol
Excellent vid! But after a while I just couldn't ignore that nice crisp instrumental playing in the background. You must share it with us!
Lol. thanks! and I was given that beat. It's not online.
Thanks dude :)
I zeroed mine and they work amazing, why didn't I do it sooner
I felt the same way, lmao. They work amazingly!
Thanks bruh!!!
Gotchu bro!
Torque screws
I want to do mine so bad, but Im hesitant because the last masters I had I messed up & the 1s I have now are collectors & I would hate to ruin those. Too bad Andis just wont zero gap the shit themselves
how'd you mess up the first ones?
MCFriedChicken1 started playing around with the housing & must have not assembled them back correctly. Never could find what I did exactly to them, just know they never worked again. Fortunately, I just tried zero gapping my 90th edition 1s & didnt mess anything up (I think) ha
More Live i just adjusted the blade on mine and hopefully I didn't mess anything up. It sounds normal though
Didn’t work at all

Yo Kevv you should do a video to cut your own hair completely you know
What's good Chris?? And I literally tried that yesterday. I just never liked the angle, smh. But I'll def get that up here. Thanks for the suggestion bro!
