    really like this guy. great the way he used the manual switch to explain the switching part of switching power supply. I love how excited he gets when he see's his circuit working as expected.😎.
    Couple of things, 1 is on the driver circuit, the inductor he called a 1 to 1 or 1:1 inductor, I assumed it was a 1:1 transformer and the actual part looks like a 1:1 transformer to me. On the schematic the inductor looks like an inductor with a center tap which is what I think it is??
    The other thing is the final output transistor on the driver isn't on the schematic, he doesn't mention the part number of it in video.
    THANK YOU Mr Electron keep up the good work!

    • @sandeep-pe3jg
      @sandeep-pe3jg 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Actually you can't increase total power output of your car Alternator, you can either increase voltage by decreasing the current or increase current by decreasing voltage , it's inversely proportional.

    The capacitor blasted in your previous video because of two reasons:
    1. You passed a voltage higher than its rating through it
    2. You passed A.C. through it and it was an electrolytic capacitor

      But I thought electrolytic capacitor is designed to block DC and allow AC. That means it must be used with AC?
      I do understand AC will reverse it's polarity/cycle but I'm confused on the application of the capacitor if it does blow when applied AC.

    • @julianslab1511
      @julianslab1511 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ronsee2999 Yes, but electrolytic capacitors cannot do this because they are intolerant of reverse polarity. Ceramic capacitors and some other types of capacitors can tolerate reverse polarity (i.e. AC) In DC, capacitors have near infinite resistance when fully charged, but in AC, their impedance decreases as frequency increases and that means that at very high frequencies capacitors have near zero impedance.
