    Great job Marco! Just note: This suspension/turning system needs 50-75 miles to break in, it softens up more but you have plenty of adjustment to play with.
    The "grip" the guys spoke of is also by design. Our Suspension system , put quite simply, keeps your feet on the ground. The downward force provided by the suspension allows the forces generated to all be put back into the board at the center which allows the independent suspension to have constant downward force, providing traction and grip, even with knobby. You should feel it with the 7" street tires on hot Florida pavement, it all but squeezes the pavement. Those forces being sent back to the center also act as a form of assisted steering as they are generated and sent downward to the turning mechanism also. The more inertia generated, the easier the steering is which is common with many systems, its just exaggerated here a little more. The use of those forces, along with those harnessed from the independent suspension, results in the smoothest ride to ever hit the esk8 scene.
    If anyone has any other questions, Im also here to help provide answers, just fire away or hit me up. Ride hard, ride safe, RIDE PROPEL!!

      Nice! I'd rather the suspension system kept your feet on the board, not the ground though! :P

      @@Ryaninja One kind of equals the other. When the suspension absorbs the energy it isnt transferred up through the board and into your body.
      If you come off the board because its rough terrain, imagine that rough terrain riding as if it were much smoother

    great vid, I find the propel S to be one of the most compelling rides to hit the market since the boosted Stealth. Got a chance to see it in action over the weekend in depth and it's a great design. I own a Kaly50 and previously owned Lacroix prototipo and Nazare amongst other smaller rides

    Just got an S delivered today. I like it overall. It doesn't carve anywhere near as well as my evolve. It's braking and acceleration are much jerkier and there's a slight delay on the brake and the deck is shorter than it looks. It's however very stable, comfortable and rolls over pretty much everything so it has a place in my garage.

    • @MADpack
      @MADpack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah curving is obviously not like riding an evolve or a exway board you do t go for a propel for curving but for the stability and confort

      @@MADpack thanks mate, totally. 1 question: I noticed that when I go downhill I can’t decrease the brake pressure. I can only release them. I don’t have issues on flat surfaces.
      For example, going downhill If I brake 80%, then I release them a little to 60% nothing changes it is still at 80%. If I release them to 0% then I can apply 60%.
      Any idea how to fix this?

    Informative video. Noticed you were adjusting the nut on the suspension. By exposing more thread, what effect does that have on suspension?

    • @MADpack
      @MADpack  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like zack was explaining he couldn't curve at all almost with the board so we had to readjust it after because the board was not stable on high speeds we tight the suspension to reduce wobbles and that's why we was tightening it up

  • @evanphillips3981
    @evanphillips3981 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great video, very informative. Is the suspension loud? As in, do the springs and all the moving parts within the suspension make a lot of noise bouncing around as you ride?
    I'm just recalling when I owned Seismic trucks, which are spring-loaded trucks, and they were quite noisy, so am just curious - thanks!

      Slick revolution was the first esk8 that I tested on the channel. That have the issue that I didn't like on esk8. Doesn't has a smooth braking system. You press halfway nothing happened after it breaks hard.

      @@MADpack agree with that. The breaks are terrible. Like I say. It was cheap and it’s just to practice. I didn’t want to spend lots and decide I didn’t enjoy it so it made sense at the time. Can you push it manually like a non-electric longboard? Does it require battery in order to do that, or will it lock up and prevent manual pushing when it runs out of battery? Can you comfortably push it with a wider leg stretch (accounting for the wheels being in the way)?
    Also how's the turning? Could you turn as well as other electric boards after you loosen it?

    keep in mind this board came along from lessons learned building the cycle eagle cx4. they designed this ground up to be a all terrain aka street board. I luv my CX4 but it is labor intensive as with any 4 wheel drive. epic off road performance but much more maintenance per mile ridden... This looks to be a great combo of suspension and low maintenance belt drive over the shaft drive setup on the 4 x 4's. I am seriously considering the Pro as my new daily driver but already got 4 boards now so hard to justify in my budget LOL

    There some boards that cost way more than this and will give you horrible ride comfort.
    This board has so much to help with comfort
    First has nice air filled tires adds cushion of air to absorb
    Second a unique suspension to help absorb
    Price is a steal
