  • The Propel Endeavor S is an off-road electric skateboard powerhouse!
    It has been one of the most fun rides I have had in a long time!
    But my favourite feature of all is its price (now $1,199)

      Hi, Russ. Looking forward to your Garage vids on the S. Quick question: I ordered the S last week and the emailed receipt said it would be shipped in mid- Nov. However, I saw that the website was updated and said the shipping date was early Oct for orders before the 13th of Sept. Before I get insanely excited about the accelerated timeline, is the Oct shipping date the most current? The board looks incredible. You guys should be proud!

      @@eSkateHub I got mine late November 2021 so I could only ride it for a few times before snow came... This spring I have been riding my Endeavor S on and off road and I must say, aside from the wide radius turn (which often I have to get off the board just to either push or lift the front toward the direction I want to go in a sharp corner turn), the ride is as you said, superbly comfortable and I no longer have to worry about imperfection on any road surface when I ride it on city streets. Now, I wish I have bought the Pro since that would give me more range than the S model... All and all, I friggin' LOVE this eboard!!!

    Can you push it manually like a non-electric longboard? Does it require battery in order to do that, or will it lock up and prevent manual pushing when it runs out of battery? Can you comfortably push it with a wider leg stretch (accounting for the wheels being in the way)?
    Also how's the turning? Could you turn as well as other electric boards after you loosen it?
    Thanks a bunch 🙏

    • @eSkateHub
      @eSkateHub  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah it does suffer quite a bit. Well, it depends on how hard you like to carve. The DKP's can carve really hard and even long S curves feel sharper. The Propel S has a more drawn out curve. It's doable, but nothing like DKP.

      @@Catamount19 I can do sharper turns on my WowGo AT2 but this eboard (if you not making sharp turn, say on a bicycle paths where it's not much room to turn) is so comfortable and a few times I misjudged how deep the potholes were and how high the drop from the sidewalk, but this eboard's spring suspension handles those beautifully... I often ride at night time too and one nice thing is not having worries about these two aforementioned obstacles on my paths... 🙂

    2 very important questions about this board 1- is this type of suspension more prone to break and also to maintain $$ versus all the other suspensions out there? And 2- how is this Companys customer support ratings right now?

    • @cubohedron
      @cubohedron ปีที่แล้ว +2

      1- it depends on the manufacturer as you can’t label a “type” of suspension to break, this technology is commonly used in higher priced cars as it can deal with bumps independently and as for complexity no it’s not the most complex, it’s a pretty simple mechanism.

    • @ATrueCanadianBeaver
      @ATrueCanadianBeaver 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally, I would not as it maybe too powerful and can potentially throw you off the board. I would recommend learning to ride on a street eboard (entry level eboard that does not cost you too much $$$ first, just in case it turns out that you don't like riding on an eboard at all so there is no needs to waste your money on an expensive one). After I tried riding my street eboard for one summer and I knew for sure then that would love to own and better and more powerful eboard and gave away that entry0level eboard to my nephew, upgraded mine to this one... 🙂

    @eSkate - How do you like the ride comfort, stability, and feel of the Endeavor versus a tradition style DKP or RKP board? I'm not into top speeds or torque, more looking for a fun board to cruise on. Compared to a Wowgo AT, Zealot S, Evolve, etc how does it feel?

    • @eSkateHub
      @eSkateHub  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stability and comfort wise, this truck setup can't be beat. But you have to compromise the carving and turning ability a bit with it.
      The WowGo AT2 is actually really good, and I'd put it pretty close to the Endeavor without losing too much of your carving or turning ability.
      Zealot S has less comfort, but makes up for it in its carving/turning.
      As strange as this sounds, I'm yet to get on the Hadean. Lockdowns here have been tough.

  • @spyplane8
    @spyplane8 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The board has push to start as well. Please make sure everyone is aware that AIR SHIPPING is 450$ and sea is 150$ and takes on average 45 days. BTW I still believe the price is reasonable and ordered S. It was just a gut punch to suddenly realize it wasn't the price they are listed as. IMO it would be better to just add the price to the board and ship every board free of charge via air. Mine will be here in the first week of October. The people at Propel have went out if their way to communicate with me which was very nice. I will be swapping the 666wh battery for a 19.2 and VESC.This is based on the Pro suddenly showing sold out. Either way the wooden deck looks a bit prettier in my opinion. Especially considering about 80% of new production boards are carbon fiber. Thanks for the review.

    • @eSkateHub
      @eSkateHub  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that's a fair point. That's almost an extra 50% in price for air shipping. The thing is so big and heavy to ship, I guess they try to give people an option for cheaper shipping if they're willing to wait for it.
      I'm glad you had a good customer support experience, that can be hard to find in the eskate industry at the moment.
      I'd be keen to hear about how you go with the VESC and new battery.
      I'm the same as you, I prefer wooden decks over carbon fiber.
