I can't describe my feelings after this 90 minutes. I sang, I cryed, then I sang again, I danced and cryed again. A mix of soooo many feelings. This music goes under the skin. Thank you very much guys for this wonderfullllll music.
I, closing in on 50 years old, watching this performance casts me back to watching both Germanic and Italian operas with my father, who instilled in me the appreciation of all music genera's. How this (Sandra, as another commenter identified her) reminds me of classical operas is, I don't know German, nor Italian, AND I have no idea what language our lovely singer is using, but you GET the passion and story in her face aaaand her bandmates. This is a pure soul moving performance by true artist/technicians.

yeah, to me it is completely imposible to understand how people can be sitting during the whole performance of BGKO, I was glad to be twice on their concerts in Poland, during both of them the audience was dancing, with tears of joy in their eyes. It was so full, so deep experience!

How can anyone possibly give this amazing performance a thumbs-down? They are incredible! I love the combination of instruments, including percussion that is not a standard drum kit. The singer's voice is exquisite. I am SO enjoying watching this!

Everyone in this band is fantastic! And look how much they're enjoying themselves! If ever there was a video to convince your child to play music, this would be it. I'm so glad some in the audience got up to dance toward the end - before that I thought they were about as sober as at any service held in a church. hahaha
This music has spoken to me all my life, and now I just found out through DNA tests that I am of Greek or Balkan heritage! I love it even more now and BGKO plays it all so beautifully!

I couldn't agree with you more! But I think every guy is attractive in his own way, simply because he loves what he does & he's excellent at what he does! And I wish I had a vocal range like the young lady singing! Being an alto singer like me definitely has it's limits. And to top it all off, my cat has been mesmerized by this music for over an hour, completely knocked out by it! She's usually holed up on her kitty condo sleeping motionless most of the day. But not today!

Es stimmt, dass wir auf dem Balkan leben, kämpfen und lieben. Ich bin froh, dass die Band ein wunderschönes albanischen Volkslied aufgenommen hat (54:30), Lule Lule - ein altes Lied aus vielen Jahrhunderten, als das albanische Volk nach der osmanischen Besatzung gezwungen war, sein Land zu verlassen. Das Einzige, was sie ins neue Land mitnehmen konnten, waren die albanische Sprache und die schönen Lieder. Heute, 500 Jahre später, sprechen sie noch immer die albanische Sprache und singen ihre schönen Lieder in der Melodie und den Texten ihrer Vorfahren. Schöne Grüße, ein Albaner aus den USA.

I have absolutly no idea what she is singing, but oh my god! She sings just as buytifull as she looks. And what an amazing band! They are all so good! "Artiliana" is a show off from all of them :)) I hope you come to Denmark some day.

Each musician and sound from was excellent , and what an attractive bunch they are, but I ask this: have you ever seen a cooler groovin' badass lookin' dude enjoying it like that bass player? What aguy! What a band! Mahalo! Muchos Gracias! Wonderful!
I couldn't agree with you more! But I think every guy is attractive in his own way, simply because he loves what he does & he's excellent at what he does! And I wish I had a vocal range like the young lady singing! Being an alto singer like me definitely has it's limits. And to top it all off, my cat has been mesmerized by this music for over an hour, completely knocked out by it! She's usually holed up on her kitty condo sleeping motionless most of the day. But not today!

The vocalist, the guy with clarinet and the guy with violin are absolutely amazing. Even other musicians are good with their instruments too. I like the confidence of the vocalist.

Es stimmt, dass wir auf dem Balkan leben, kämpfen und lieben. Ich bin froh, dass die Band ein wunderschönes albanischen Volkslied aufgenommen hat (54:30), Lule Lule - ein altes Lied aus vielen Jahrhunderten, als das albanische Volk nach der osmanischen Besatzung gezwungen war, sein Land zu verlassen. Das Einzige, was sie ins neue Land mitnehmen konnten, waren die albanische Sprache und die schönen Lieder. Heute, 500 Jahre später, sprechen sie noch immer die albanische Sprache und singen ihre schönen Lieder in der Melodie und den Texten ihrer Vorfahren.
