I don't think The Fixx get the credit they deserve. Always the same band members...Always excellent. Of the touring 80's bands, they are without a doubt, one of the very best.
Absolutely! One of my favorite bands that just keep jamming and always sounds great.
Been listening to The Fixx a lot more these last couple of years. And watching live shows on youtube. This one is pretty rockin! Guess it takes me back to more pleasant times like junior high in 82' and 83' lol. This is the most recent show I've seen and man they haven't lost a thing. Seems like they still really enjoy doing it. Cool bunch of guys. Thanks for the post!
One of the last great bands from the Eighties still intact with its original members. That first album 💿 was brilliant! I remember listening to it constantly when it came out. I remember thinking this is music from the future. They still sound modern and new. One of my favorite bands!
Strange how they have been forgotten.
I don't think Dan Brown was their original bassist. They might have had 4 (maybe more) different bassist for their studio albums and live performances. I can only recall 3 1/2 names, but I'm sure there was another 1-2 others.
Alfie Agius, Dan Brown and Gary Tibbs. There was some Charlie guy (don't remember last name).
Saw the Fixx at Jaggers in 1983 was a sweet show for a Night Club...
I remember on their "Elemental " tour they played Norfolk Va for a free show at town pt. Park, and they did the entire set, which was awesome
Such incredible songwriters and musicians, and genuine souls.
Thank you for this recording. So great to hear their continuing perfection. Boatloads of talent and soul and humanity on stage.
Great to see them on stage! I've seen them right times, the last was a year ago in Kent/Detroit with my wife!!!
Kick ass ! Great band. Well recorded. Thank you !
Love these guys. Latest album is awesome.
These songs 🎵 "vibe" on the heels of the Cold War and Vietnam War Eras (should) make you #THINK.. too 🎉
Jergals is a great place for shows. They bring in a big variety of bands. Great food.
Great video and sound! Thanks for the upload.❤ Saw them 11/20/2023 on this tour. I’m a huge fan for 40 years.
Brilliant light show obscuring the band in a shadowy blue, then gradually revealing them as the concert progresses. The sound is great too- and so good to see them still going strong after more than 40 years-
Cy still got it men❤❤
Excelente el sonido .777777
Less cities more moving people was a great cut.
Agreed. Better than some of their more popular hits
Wow, not heard since my Walkman in the summer of 1986, doing wheat harvest (custom cutting) from Texas up to Montana. Another life: was it me? Sounds like the start of a song by…The Fixx.
Best tour and song order.
Grande fixx tokan mejor ke nunca.fans.
Temazos de esta banda.se merecian gramys.
Shit, this was my birthday! That wouldve been a cool thing to go!
It wouls be awesome if you could play the Paramount in Rutland Vermont!!
Man I really wanted to get to jergel's for the show
00:11:46 stand or fall
Timestamps in the description would be awesome.
Spectre 😳
No 'Sign of Fire'???
Streets of Fire? Deeper and Deeper was the end title theme for that movie and they played it during the encore
@@user-ve5ln5le9y they used to start their concerts with The Sign of Fire
The Fixx finally realized after 40 years that Saved By Zero was their best song.
Was ???
The point?
They Saved Zero for last
