Conrad Gonzales at least radio stations in the middle of nowhere blare this good shit on a daily (or at least hourly basis (station eventually fades out and have to surf through COUNTLESS country/gospel stations to find another). Fuck the (super mainstream) iHeartRadio apps unless they get some of Central Illinois's rock stations... Quincy's KZZK grizz... Springfield's... And maybe Decatur & Peoria's stations who seemingly like to introduce people to this below-the-radar GOLD like this right here...

Who gives two fucks whether Red's a religious band or not? cant we just listen to music without bringing a controversial argument into play? what makes u think u cant tell Red what they are and what they're not? I believe that if Red saw this comment section, they'd just shake their heads in distain. Yes Red does in fact happen to be a religious band, but in their songs u can hardly notice it because they're sending a positive message, without rubbing religion in people's faces. music is not inherently evil in of itself ...it is a medium created by God that was designed with the ability to be blessed, or be cursed, or just neutral ...this because of it being Spiritual in origin ...it cant be evil just because there is distortion on guitars, or because some one is shouting, or because it has a discordant harmony note like 2nd in it, rather than all 3rd or 5ths ...that is totally ridiculous ...music's main function was to glorify God, but with free will, it can be used to glorify satan or man as well ...it's the people writing music, that are either evil, neutral or Holy ...music comes from only three sources... God, man and satan ...if you equate a type of music as evil, it is because you compare it to something else that IS evil, that has a similar sound ...these guys are inspired by God in my opinion ...take it from me, I am a worship leader who is very familiar with the anointing of God and have shed many Holy tears of Joy listening to Red ...the reason people call this music un-holy, is that there is satanic spirit of religiosity that blinds them to the truth

I agree with u! I tend toward the hard stuff but as a mother & someone of faith I like that I as well as my girls can listen to lyrically responsible & uplifting messages without having to compromise musical style. I love listening to this hard spiritual music with an added bonus of being able to do so with my girls responsibly so thank u Red & christian rock music for that blessing.

I enjoy worshiping listening to Christian music. Red is my favorite band and has brought me nearer to the Lord. After my sister died, I listened to "Breathe into Me" like 8 times a day for months to keep going and the Holy Spirit did breathe into me, over and over again. This song in particular, means a lot to me and I agree with the brother below who said it is empowering. It reminds me that God came to free us and doesn't want us to be imprisoned by the shame of what others did. Break every chain, Lord!... And to the perpetrators and to the Enemy we say, "You can't have me anymore!!!" Praise God!!

It's definitely Michael Barnes (the singer) doing the screaming. Not Randy (or Anthony) Armstrong. The scream is legendary indeed though.
At some of the live performances randy does some of the screams for this song :D but its a far more deeper and boomier growl, still epic

If there is one thing RED does well its the way how they seamlessly combine hard guitar rifts with moving lyrics with classical instruments to produce a unique sound which is very rare to come upon. GO RED KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Im a Hindu and I love this music...
and yet it has wide enough appeal that like band such as P.O.D. and Skillet for a couple off the top of my head, that us non christians can still enjoy it and even maybe see a different meaning that we can also relate to. i think this is very good songwriting if it is religious in nature due to it not narrowing its scope to only the faithful of christianity.

What's great about this band? Well, the fact that someone like me, with no religious affiliations can enjoy their music. If that doesn't explain, then just listen to the music. Listen without the singing. Then add in the amazing vocals. That's what makes them great.
That's always been my mantra: I don't read into lyrics at all; I just listen & like it if it sounds good.

Clint Brooks I like Red, I have all 5 of their CD's. I have heard that they are Christian, but to say some thing and be something are two different things. I have the End the Silence and it has a concert and additional footage, and not one time did they ever say anything about God, Jesus, or anything remotely referencing Christianity. I was disappointed. I can say I am blue but it does not make me blue. They even admit during some of the interviews there music is dark. I like the music, I like the sound, but Christianity I do not see it coming through.
Because they don't refer to god or Jesus constantly doesn't mean they aren't Christian. I could care less honestly. I like all of their songs because they're a diverse, good all around band, that I can relate to. I like their dark and their softer, more melodic songs. Because it's red man!
