Conrad Gonzales at least radio stations in the middle of nowhere blare this good shit on a daily (or at least hourly basis (station eventually fades out and have to surf through COUNTLESS country/gospel stations to find another). Fuck the (super mainstream) iHeartRadio apps unless they get some of Central Illinois's rock stations... Quincy's KZZK grizz... Springfield's... And maybe Decatur & Peoria's stations who seemingly like to introduce people to this below-the-radar GOLD like this right here...
I enjoy worshiping listening to Christian music. Red is my favorite band and has brought me nearer to the Lord. After my sister died, I listened to "Breathe into Me" like 8 times a day for months to keep going and the Holy Spirit did breathe into me, over and over again. This song in particular, means a lot to me and I agree with the brother below who said it is empowering. It reminds me that God came to free us and doesn't want us to be imprisoned by the shame of what others did. Break every chain, Lord!... And to the perpetrators and to the Enemy we say, "You can't have me anymore!!!" Praise God!!
i don't know why people call christian bands...there are so many metal and grunge bands with similar materials nobody calls them christian....does Indian band need to be called Hindu band or Nepali band be called Buddhist band??such bullshit!!!
I like how Red always combines such an amazing mix of both hard and intense music along with such melodic and beautiful music into each song. Truly an Art!
Thank you Jesus Hey you Look what you do to me You bend and you bruise me While you try to control me But you don't own me How come you just wanna hurt me How come you just wanna push me I can't ignore you anymore 'Cause everywhere I turn you You burn me, you break me You always wanna take me Down with you What do you want from me I don't wanna be afraid I don't wanna run away I don't wanna be here fading It's more than I can take I'm never gonna be the same I threw it all away I don't wanna be here fading Just let go Let go (Look what you do to me) Hey you Look what you do to me You hurt and you scar me With all that you tell me But I'm not listening You love me You hate me You always want to take me Down with you What do you want from me (I won't stay) I don't wanna be afraid I don't wanna run away I don't wanna be here fading It's more than I can take I'm never gonna be the same I threw it all away I don't wanna be here fading Just let You keep pushing me You keep using me You keep twisting me You keep breaking me You can't have me anymore You can't have me anymore You can't have me anymore You can't have me Let go I don't wanna be afraid I don't wanna run away I don't wanna be here fading It's more than I can take I don't wanna be afraid I don't wanna run away I don't wanna be here fading It's more than I can take I'm never gonna be the same I threw it all away I don't wanna be here fading Just let go Let go Just let go (Holding on) Let go (Holding on) Just let go Let go Let go
Clint Brooks I like Red, I have all 5 of their CD's. I have heard that they are Christian, but to say some thing and be something are two different things. I have the End the Silence and it has a concert and additional footage, and not one time did they ever say anything about God, Jesus, or anything remotely referencing Christianity. I was disappointed. I can say I am blue but it does not make me blue. They even admit during some of the interviews there music is dark. I like the music, I like the sound, but Christianity I do not see it coming through.
Because they don't refer to god or Jesus constantly doesn't mean they aren't Christian. I could care less honestly. I like all of their songs because they're a diverse, good all around band, that I can relate to. I like their dark and their softer, more melodic songs. Because it's red man!
rcdinkins See them live in concert ... members offer testimony between songs. I'll see them (again) at LifeFest in Wisconsin next month. AWESOME in concert.
+rcdinkins well, they are Christian and I have seen them perform where they do mention their faith. Their music is amazing and yes darker. But their music is about Christianity, the struggles and problems. I sometimes think the music is enough to express their faith
We are broken because we've been separated from God because of sin, Jesus is the answer atoning our sin on the cross that brings us back to God thru the Holy Spirit. You've always been loved.
remembering getting clean and sober for the first time.loving myself my mistakes and addiction is not what defines me..there music got me thru the worst of times.i guess nothing ever really changes .here I am again .my God loves me unconditionally he is my rock .faith as small as a mustard seed but I have much more.god is always in control .
I found Youz guys music when I was in Iraq from a fellow Soldier. To this day I can remember working out with headphones on in the gym like a lunatic and dancing between workouts to this whole album of awesome eclectic songs. Thank You so much for sharing Your gifts with the rest of the World.
If there is one thing RED does well its the way how they seamlessly combine hard guitar rifts with moving lyrics with classical instruments to produce a unique sound which is very rare to come upon. GO RED KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Just for everyone's enlightenment, this song is about the hold that sin has on everyone and he's commanding for sin to let go of his life. I love Red! One of my all time faves.
this is their best song live IMO but their style is timeless and amazing.. glad to have been a fan since 07 and been watching them live since 08.. just saw them this year again with Starset in Baltimore
its freightening when you first do it though....so many things say you need this or that....that lie? if believed for a long period of time? can cause it to be real fear. even if you know the Truth
brings back so much memories..... i remember listening to this when end of silence had just been published... long live RED! you were always there for me.... will never forget this band along with metallica!
the only thing that i hate about this band is the fact that if I type only "RED' on youtube search bar i have to scroll through alot of shit to get to the cool stuff (their videos) and it makes it a little bit difficult to find
I find it interesting that everyone who says "stop bringing religion into it, and just listen to music," seems like they are getting agitated. People if your feeling convicted it is alright, "just let go".
It amazing how intense their the band is, and then how gentle and beautiful the orchestral instruments sound beside them; rock and orchestra together make a match made in heaven.
Still here ❤️ this song has grown with me over the years. I turn back to this very song in need of a reminder of what I've been threw. Love you guys ❤️
Fgghjj Vgghkj well if that's what you believe im fine by it but the reason why i believe is because i've read the whole Bible with in a month and from what i understand of what's going on in the world its happening as the Bible seas it would so that's why i believe in GOD.
+Joanna C. Amen i say to you my friend and what your saying is 100% true so may GOD Bless you for speaking the truth thank you my friend that made my day.
I've been to more rock concerts than I can count, and out of all of them, Reds' live performance outshined them all! They sang with so much passion that you could feel it! It was insane!
The ending of this song really hits me hard... just let go has a deeper meaning to me bcuz of everyone who I have lost in my life... my grandma Juanita and my mom Vallie and my brother Marion all gone but I have to keep living until the good LORD GOD brings me home to them once again... oh how much I love and miss my family
I've been listening to this song ( this band) for a really long time. It's been a part of some of my more negative moments as a human. It has been around as a good portion of my life has unfolded. It's played continually at moments as my mind has run through all the feelings of life. The whys. It has been the background noise to the many many thoughts about both God and the Devil. A copilot while flying through the life that existing around me. If you engage with this song in its meaning as the artist intended and the meaning you find personally, if you walk within it, then it can be like therapy. It's a soul building, hurt helping, confidence hardening type of song. The end is extra special. You should feel empowered and charged up, redeemed, lighter. The screams aren't screams. They're a release and a new beginning. Im sure it is one song that I'll continue to use for a long time to come. I recommend playing it loud. I recommend screaming with it. I also recommend crying if you feel like like letting the tears fall. Great band with a ton of awesome songs.
This is the perfect song to listen to when you're angry at someone. This song to me is about the singer trying to get rid of a toxic person in his life. This is the perfect song to sing to someone who treats you like dirt. Get away from them and banish then from your life and don't look back.
This band is so underated. Bands like this need to get more notice.
Conrad Gonzales yes they do

they were my very first band i saw in concert. Really great performance
Agreed I wish RED would have got popular.
I AGREE SO MUCH I LOVE RCOK SO MUCH I CANT LEAVE IT BUT THIS MUSIC IS MY WORSHIP MUSIC
that violin and fade away screaming at the end could not get any better
close to "Silverchair - Emotion Sickness" :)
One of the best fade outs ever.
That's precisely why I would love to cover this song.
The echo of the passing storm.
Makes me cry every time. All the hurt and emotion, just letting it go
Show of hands who's having a RED marathon 🙋🏻

O...that's what that song means.
So amazing. Flyleaf saved 2 of my family members from death and I feel that music is the key to healing pre and post.
Can be perceived in any way. But that one's that know....KNOW!! ROCK ON!!!!
i don't know why people call christian bands...there are so many metal and grunge bands with similar materials nobody calls them christian....does Indian band need to be called Hindu band or Nepali band be called Buddhist band??such bullshit!!!
I love them too my mom does not consider them Christian because of the screaming but I love them
I like how Red always combines such an amazing mix of both hard and intense music along with such melodic and beautiful music into each song. Truly an Art!
I know this is extremely late but breaking benjamin does everything similar except they sound more angelic
@VoiiDExp also Chevelle and System of a Down
Thank you Jesus
Hey you
Look what you do to me
You bend and you bruise me
While you try to control me
But you don't own me
How come you just wanna hurt me
How come you just wanna push me
I can't ignore you anymore
'Cause everywhere I turn you
You burn me, you break me
You always wanna take me
Down with you
What do you want from me
I don't wanna be afraid
I don't wanna run away
I don't wanna be here fading
It's more than I can take
I'm never gonna be the same
I threw it all away
I don't wanna be here fading
Just let go
Let go
(Look what you do to me)
Hey you
Look what you do to me
You hurt and you scar me
With all that you tell me
But I'm not listening
You love me
You hate me
You always want to take me
Down with you
What do you want from me
(I won't stay)
I don't wanna be afraid
I don't wanna run away
I don't wanna be here fading
It's more than I can take
I'm never gonna be the same
I threw it all away
I don't wanna be here fading
Just let
You keep pushing me
You keep using me
You keep twisting me
You keep breaking me
You can't have me anymore
You can't have me anymore
You can't have me anymore
You can't have me
Let go
I don't wanna be afraid
I don't wanna run away
I don't wanna be here fading
It's more than I can take
I don't wanna be afraid
I don't wanna run away
I don't wanna be here fading
It's more than I can take
I'm never gonna be the same
I threw it all away
I don't wanna be here fading
Just let go
Let go
Just let go (Holding on)
Let go (Holding on)
Just let go
Let go
Let go
I hear what they say when they sing but it never hits most times until I read the words
This song honestly is the most underrated song out there
Satan; you can't have me anymore. Let Go!
Agreed
Easier said than done, but regardless...amen!
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Yeah bro. |m|
Nova142 Amen 🙏
That scream
The main riff makes me think of "Lying From You" by Linkin Park. Especially the breakdown. Love it.
RIP Chester.
the end its like "The catalyst"
This song is so emotional. It describes the inner war within ourselves with the devil and sin. Beautiful, powerful every scream means a lot
this bring back so many childhood memories playing Baja 1000 on PS2.
Its almost 2023 and its still one of the best songs I have ever heard.
Out of all of Red's songs so far, I think this one best displays how amazing a singer Michael Barnes truly is.
I would probably agree
+ Fight inside
Knowing that red is Christian makes it even better!!! Go ReD!!!
Clint Brooks I like Red, I have all 5 of their CD's. I have heard that they are Christian, but to say some thing and be something are two different things. I got sober to this song- it got me through detox. I played it on repeat!

I listened to this song on repeat in Iraq. It gave me strength
where has this band been my whole life??!!! so glad to discover this amazing music!!
We are broken because we've been separated from God because of sin,

God thru the Holy Spirit. You've always been loved.
Epic screams . GREAT SONG''
Ugh oh my god those beautiful strings 😢😩 phenomenal.
3:53 Definitely got goosebumps. Love these guys!
What an awesome Christian Rock Band!
I think what I love most about these guys is their symphonic aspect of their sound. It always flows together and is flawless.
I love when I always find music that matches almost exactly how I feel
This is by far one of my favorite songs in my favorites list and peeps I'm 56 yrs. young, lol! I have a teen, may have something to do with it!
+Christine Malloy That's cool!
Doesn't matter how old you are. there's no age limit on this sort of music
God this song makes me cry but it helped me let go the one woman i truely loved for so long and I found someone else and were amazing together
Sry to heard. This is also important song to me. Life goes on. Peace!
Don't use the Lord's name in vain
The way they spread God into your soul is so amazing. So grateful to have a band like Red in our lives.
And P.O.D. ,Demon Hunter, We As Human, Love and Death, and Living Sacrifice. 🤘🤘🔥
Great music, stupid religious message, but that’s OK. I respect the band for the music they produce.

This album got me through my first Christmas without my parents. I literally listened to 50 times in a row that Christmas of 06.
One of the best songs by Red. Heavy, haunting, catchy and beautiful. Amazing and powerful message. Can´t get enough if it.
That outro still plays through my head so often!

Dude, I just realized that's the bassist who's screaming. Man, he has a sick scream!!
indeed I'm just now realizing that myself. That scream is legendary
i think its the lead singer who's screaming, i think it's just the way they edited the video
It's definitely Michael Barnes (the singer) doing the screaming. Not Randy (or Anthony) Armstrong. The scream is legendary indeed though.
At some of the live performances randy does some of the screams for this song :D but its a far more deeper and boomier growl, still epic
Either way it's still amazing :D
That part when he says "I can't ignore you anymore"
I always loved that part.
This song in 2023 is just what I needed!!!
2019 and still hitting my treadmill on this. 😺
I found Youz guys music when I was in Iraq from a fellow Soldier. To this day I can remember working out with headphones on in the gym like a lunatic and dancing between workouts to this whole album of awesome eclectic songs. Thank You so much for sharing Your gifts with the rest of the World.
Underated man. Just excellent band.
I think this is probably my favorite Red song. Feed the Machine a close second.
I'm from the future. You'll probably be listening to a song called "From the ashes" a lot as well.
@@travisdelee8647 and every other song off “Declaration” 😆
I'm the exact opposite of that lmao cause feed the machine is my favorite and this is the runner up

One of the best songs ever. If you don’t know now you do
I'm not a religious person and for a long time I didn't know this was a Christian band. To me, it's just really good music.
the ending.. how can something be hard and also beautiful at the same time..
I'll always remember seeing Red live and this song in particular. It was one of my favorite shows.
Ending part is the most awesome part of this song :)
the only thing that i hate about this band is the fact that if I type only "RED' on youtube search bar i have to scroll through alot of shit to get to the cool stuff (their videos) and it makes it a little bit difficult to find
Especially a load of Taylor Swift xD

It amazing how intense their the band is, and then how gentle and beautiful the orchestral instruments sound beside them; rock and orchestra together make a match made in heaven.
Evanescence made it happen at first, and Red perfected with a male voice.
This song and "The war we made" are my favorites

I think the end of the bands "Red" song "Let GO"music should be kept by them to make an entire new album; it's rythem was perfect.
I think that the band "Red" deserves more support and attention for how good that they really are.
From all their four albums, this is still one of their best song. Never get tired of listening to it!!! :)
For some reason this had always been my favorite Christian rock band
One of my all time favorite bands
the amazing part of this band in this vid is when the two singers scream 'let go' they sound identical.. love the song
This is the perfect song to listen to when you're angry at someone. This song to me is about the singer trying to get rid of a toxic person in his life. This is the perfect song to sing to someone who treats you like dirt. Get away from them and banish then from your life and don't look back.
@Pro Justice Music is subjective. The devil can be a reference to evil things in his life (drugs, toxic relationships, etc.)
Christian rock is by far the best rock put them in the mainstream and better than the mainstream Rock
Some of the absolute best drum tuning and mic'ing ever on a Red record. Awesome!
Absolutely my favorite song by RED!!
This band should be so much bigger than what they are. Despite their christian roots they are one of the best rock bands out there today
Still one of my favorite bands to this day!!!
I saw this came out 13 years ago...I can't believe this song, and this band, has been my favorite for 13 years.
