  • In this series, I will be going over the elements of what makes pro esports players as good as they are. Today, we will be analyzing G2 NiKo's slow and methodical approach to the game in the form of lurking.

    Cant wait for the inevitable intangible of Jame's economy, saves, and analyzing at what point he exactly decides to haul back to spawn and hide 😂

    NiKo is a very interesting star rifler in my opinion, because he is an extremely talented aimer, but often uses that aim secondarily to his extremely sound fundamentals. He plays for the easy frags, but it is extremely rare that he misses them. (except when hes heaven with a deagle I guess) I think his style of cs perfectly compliments a young aggressive high energy player like m0nesy, and in my opinion it is what makes G2 such a fun team to watch. Everyone contributes in their own ways, and meld together well. Although it is also probably why they went through 17 IGLs a month

      this is kind of a reach, but m0nesy and niko remind me a lot of old forest and get_right in the way their playstyles compliment each other so well, even if forest/get_right were a hybrid entry/lurk and niko/m0nesy is a rifler/awper

    i used NiKo's config for everything past the intro, tell me if you guys like that or would rather me go back to 16:9 high settings

      nah keep the 4:3 gives a better idea of what he sees

    • @zezanje1
      @zezanje1 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      imo there is no reason to use 16:9 in all the demos. using the pros settings just adds to the experience

    It’s best to start saving the thanks after a couple thousand subscribers because I seriously believe your channel is just going to grow with the quick, informative, good quality videos you’ve been producing. I can see your creativity and video quality improving when cs2 comes out.
    Keep it up 💪

    imo keep using that pros settings if your doing demo vids it always felt cool. launders does that aswell and he probably has the best POV demo vids out rn. would be cool if u could edit in a graphic with the players settings. just big stuff like res, sens, crosshair and even maybe their preferred knife skin or something cheesy like that just for fun. good vids brother

    Next time do these videos from team play not faceit

    • @joncius1450
      @joncius1450 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Why? I think the series' point is to teach basic csgo skills, and it'd be more difficult to learn from pro matches rather than to learn from pugs which is the environment us, scrubs, play in.
