- On the outskirts of a village in the UK sits a farmhouse that's been left to decay for 22 years. Many once cherished belongings still remain inside this now rotting, damp and dark house. From the rotting slabs of meat hanging from doors to the hellish rats that live down in the food cellar, this is one place that gave me the jitters. This was made up for though, with the beautiful treasures left around this huge home... and for this, it will remain near the top of our favourite explore list for quite some time to come.
Join us as we take you with us on our explore inside this house and if you enjoy our video's then please like, comment, share and subscribe. Thanks for watching!
Hi Claire and Rob. I'm slowly going through your videos. I believe the red and white feathered cap to be the welsh fusiliers ❤
Hey Rob & Claire, hope your both well. What a house, I bet in the day that house was very nice, all those antiques & beautiful photos & pictures left behind, such a shame especially with the house rotting away. Stay safe & can't wait for the next video. 👍😁👍
Lovely place wasn't it? One of our favourites 🙂
Thank you for watching and take care 💚
Goodness Gracious Me !!!!! My mouth was wide open in shock !
This is our favourite explore. Thank you for watching! 💚
Hey guys , had not seen this one before , truly amazing that it has been left like that , cool vid , liked it , greetings from New Zealand ;-)😁
Thank you so much for watching all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿
As an avid historian and geneologist, seeing all those old family photos just lying about, breaks my heart. What I wouldn’t give to have photos like that ❤❤❤❤❤
How interesting! I wish I knew more about history, it would really help us out on our explores. Many thanks for watching! 💚
It's a shame what people have done to this house, trashed it. So disrepectful.
You're right. Disgusting.
That was amazing 👍 👍 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching! 💚
🙋♀️❤️. Fascinating house! You're better men than I, Gunga Din! For going in there at all! I wish you'd wear masks and gloves to protect you from all the Moldy oogy fowl air!
I'm sure I had gloves on didn't I? They're latex so they're see through. Rob's naughty for not wearing any though! You can tell him off for that 🙂
Thank you for watching! 💚
Brilliant!
What a time capsule that was! Would have been lovely years ago. Those slabs of meat and chainsaw would have sent me running for the hills 😅
I almost ran meself!

I laughed so much when the rat ran over your feet 😅 they don't scare me im really surprised you don't come across more of them then i laughed at the bacon joints hanging to dry and it looked like they were making pork scratchings lol strange house but so much left to rot away great find i haven't seen it before can't wait for your next one stay safe out there both .
It's quite funny when I watch it back but at the time I had awful visions of it going up my trouser leg! 😅 Thanks for watching 💚
@@silentseekersexplore...... I don't know if I've seen this one before or not.🤔
That was a great explore ! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching! 💚
Thanks for such a fantastic explore, (and for making me laugh) This place must have been amazing before dereliction, all completely original, such a shame that it will end up a pile of rubble, no one left to inherit all that family history. Sad.😢
We're really glad you enjoyed it. It's one of our favourite places so far. Thank you for watching! 💚
I've seen this house 3 times now I must say that you showed much more than others did, the stuff in there is worth a fortune. That heater was a paraffin heater I remember them from my childhood. Thank you and well shown x
Thank you for the info on the heater and your kind words. We appreciate you watching! 💚
I could not do this. Because I would be leaving with whatever I wanted. And I'm not a thief. Those blue and white dishes would have left with me. And the pink dishes. A lot would have left with me.
I wouldn't blame you for that. One day they're all going to be buried under a pile of rubble so why not if that's what you wanted to do. Thank you for watching! 💚
@@silentseekersexplore....... It is horribly sad how much good usable stuff is left in these places. When my grandfather moved from rural Oklahoma into the closest town a lot of his stuff was left and people would just go in and help themselves to whatever for years and sometime a few years ago the old farmhouse was burned down by my dad and his brothers because grandma and grandpa were both gone and the farmhouse had been literally emptied by looters through the years and so much destruction was done because of it. The land was sold after grandma died. It always made me mad because not one of my dad's siblings have a photo of the old farmhouse. My grandparents on my mom's side their house is still standing. It's more stucco but roof is gone and some windows too.
That's my thing. I'm totally not a thief but if something has been sitting decaying for 20 years that obviously nobody wants it why let it Decay to the point of rubble when somebody can make use of it ? Especially with all the wastefulness in the world today.
That's my thing. Why let something that has been sitting decaying for 20 years obviously unwanted just sit and Decay to the point of rubble when somebody could make use of it? Especially with all the wastefulness in the world today. Or all the beautiful unable to duplicate antiques decaying to the point of nothingness
Wow what a beautiful step back in time home this one is.Wonderful to see but so sad the state of it now,why oh why I will never understand.Thank you for showing us all such a treasure.
I wish you would have read one of those handwritten letters. Letters from back then always seem to be so interesting. It seems like former Generations in the 1800s were probably the well to do ones and the generations after just let it go. Wonder how their ancestors would feel about seeing the house.
I'm sure they would not be best pleased at the demise of this house. Still beautiful in it's own way. Thank you for watching! 💚
SO MANY BEAUTIFUL THINGS AND JUST SAD REALLY. I WONDER WHY NOBODY OWNS IT NOW AND I AM SHOCKED PEOPLE HAVE NOT STOLEN ANYTHING.??????
I think a lot of the more valuable items have been taken going by older videos of this place. Still, there's an awful lot left there and I'm sad that the son hasn't done anything with it. I can't begin to assume why, I just know that I would have saved it or at least tried. Thank you for watching! 💚
Claire kudos to you if I'd seen a rat you wouldn't have seen me for dust 😂.Great time capsule nevertheless. But also hanging meat what in the name of heaven's was hanging meat doing still hanging there like a portrait. Xxx
I know! And how could it still be sticky!? It was horrible 🤢
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching! 💚
You make me laugh claire and I appreciate that xx
10:35 that looks a hunk of beef hanging on the door it should be very well preserved .. Still well preserved I bet. 😮
Interesting house.
Im thinking this guy got depressed after his parents died and just didnt care anymore. I dont know. Its sad
Yes I think you're right. That's what their son told another explorer. Such a sad thing to happen. 💚
49:04 i wonder if my great grand father is among all those people with Queen Victoria. It said that he was her nephew and lived with her while he attended university at Glascow. 🤔
Ooooh I wonder 🤔 maybe if you had a photograph of your great grandfather at that time, you could cross reference it with this picture. Fascinating! Thank you for watching! 💚
hi gus .... Claire .... you have the most beautiful hands
here in Hollywood, you could earn an absolute fortune
TV commercial companies are crying out for hands like yours for hands only commercials
Maybe it's time to move to Hollywood then! 🙃
What an interesting place. So much stuff. Don't know if ive seen this or not on another channel.
You may well have seen it before, a few explorers have been here. Thank you so much for watching! 💚
SAD😢
