the part in the musical when glinda kept flipping her hair and the students cheer like its a party trick is one of my fave small moments so i laughed so hard when they did it here too with an even bigger group of students 😂
Did anybody notice when Elphaba first entered the sunrise is seen behind her. Then in the ending finale scene when she finally accepts her fate after Glinda puts on her cape, she is seen behind the sunset!
In my PEOPLE "Wicked" magazine, it said that Ariana insisted that Galinda arrive at Shiz sitting atop a pile of luggage because she (Ariana) knew that's what the fans were expecting to see.
I love Cynthia's sarcasm on Elphaba's first major lines. Very comical. Little different what I know from the stage production. Seen it 5 times on Broadway. In the stage version, "Elphaba" still has more sass but then aggressively throws her suitcase hard & in the students faces.
Cynthias elphaba is different in that way because, while the musical elphaba is an angry outsider who knows people won't like her so she doesn't bother trying to be polite. But with Cynthia's experience with discrimination, she knows she has to pick her battles and felt like elphaba would be so used to this sort of behavior that she just tries to let it slide and focus on herself
I love the way they depicted Elphaba's entrance as the song "Dear Old Shiz" starts. It builds up the excitement and anticipation for her first appearance more than the original stage production does. When I watched it in the theater and saw her shoes step onto the landing dock and then the camera shot of the back of her shoulders and head as she adjusts her hair with her right hand, I was grinning from ear to ear and thinking, "There she is." Also, talk about this being the most badass entrance of a movie protagonist EVER! 😃

Omg I love it
🎉❤ Best buy far is the best movie of the year trust me I'm a very cruel credit and I am very particular in the things I like to watch this ran over any movie that just came out. This year it's definitely a Grammy or Oscar award-winning is going to go down a history I can't wait to see what else happens in the movie because it gives you wanting more and everything I really felt in tune with a lot of my deeper self myself and what's a stand for
Is that a Shoebill?
yes
