There was a lot of doubt on social media about this casting but I don't think it could possibly have been more perfect 💚💕💚💕 I have seen it seven times in theatre so far and will continue to go as long as Universal keeps it there. This movie just NEEDS to be seen on the biggest screen with the best sound ( I live in a small 1br w a very complaining neighbour so can't set up a home viewing worthy of it) Got the steelbook on preorder. May I suggest a rerelease including all those cut scenes, if not immediately then it would be great marketing to show it right before Wicked for Good comes out!!🎊🎊🎊 And yay!! Universal for making the best musical I've seen in a very very long time. Love it so much❤
@quinnhouk5369 4k/Blu-ray with cut scenes and commentary from Ari and Cynthia 🩷💚 also has the sing-along version (🙄🎶) apparently. It's out sometime in February. I have it digital but for this film I wanted very much to have the physical copy. Again, going to see it in theatre as much as possible because it deserves to be seen that way♥️💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷
@@thunderverna totally. I’ve seen it in Laser, RealD3D and whatever version the sing-along was in. Out of all of them so far I’d say 3D is the best cause of that awesome intro which I think is the best intro to a movie EVER
@quinnhouk5369 I like the intro but other than that, 3D really bugs my eyes, it's so dark even with a movie like this with such incredible colors... I'm going tomorrow to see it in ScreenX, last thing I saw in that was Jumanji and it was good for desert scenes I think it'll be FANTASTIC for Wicked!!
You know it suddenly dawned on me the other day that the first letter of their last names matches the first letter of their character's names - Grande = Glinda. Erivo = Elphaba. Coincidence? I'm starting to think not.
I never saw Wicked only the movie The Wizard of Oz. I feel so bad acting like the munchkins by being happy when Dorty threw water on the witch, and I only saw Glinda as a good witch.
He need to shut up because he told them they had to starve themselves to even audition for it , I pray that God will seek justice for this mess , and they choose a BLACK girl because they want to be racist about black folk in the world.

The story is about a person of color being ostracized because of their skin color. Get your facts straight and get off your high horse.
You haven’t read the source material and it shows. Wicked has many parallels to racism and abuse of power.
